Basanta Chapagain, from Kathmandu, Nepal, became a qualified chartered accountant from ICAI in 2017. Although he was overwhelmed by several lucrative job offers from renowned companies in India he had to eventually return to Nepal, primarily because of the constant family pressure, but also for his ambitions to secure membership from ICAN. Dida Copiso, a SAICA trainee accountant at BDO South Africa, is on his way to becoming a CA(SA).
