Lupercalia is the first Satanic holiday of the calendar year, annually observed on February 15th as a celebration of bodily autonomy, sexual liberation, and reproduction. In keeping with tradition, February 13th and 14th are observed as feast days leading up to the actual holiday.

The festival got its roots in ancient Rome as a celebration of the coming of spring and was associated with fertility, both agricultural and human. The festival was celebrated by the Luperci or "the brothers of the wolf." The Luperci would sacrifice goats and dogs, then use their hides to whip women participating in the festival. The Romans believed that this act increased fertility, and it is said that women would line up to receive whipping from the Luperci as a sign of good luck and fertility.

As Satanists, we believe Lupercalia is more than just a celebration of fertility and spring; it's a celebration of our bodies, our lives, and our power. It's a rejection of societal restrictions that try to regulate our sexual lives.

Lupercalia is a chance to "embrace your inner animal" and is a celebration of self-love. There is no correct or incorrect way to observe the holiday. In accordance with our tenets and the emphasis philosophy Satanic places on self-expression, The Satanic Temple encourages individuals to put their own spin on the holiday and celebrate it in a way that is meaningful and empowering to you.

As the festival of BDSM and wolves, this holiday truly is the perfect celebration for the kennel.

Lupercalia is a holiday of indulgence and self-love. Do whatever makes you feel good. Eat your favourite foods, light some candles, take a warm bath, and never forget Tenet 3:

I read something on here, I didn't safe the post or remember who it's from, about Firefighter. For those of you who don't know what it is it's a rape "game". When someone asks you to play Firefighter and you say yes, it's "content" to let them rape you. Reading that made me remember about when I was sexually assaulted. It made me remember more details leading up to it and even made me remember the date of it, March 18th 2021. And surprisingly, I didn't break down, I didn't relapse on my SH, I got angry, pissed, I still am angry but not as bad. I hate that I remembered when it's way too late to do anything and that I still can't remember it fully. I hate that after I started making peace with it, I had to remember more of it.

I started to realize that the "game" is kind of coming back to light so I want to tell people about it to warn them. So if anyone EVER asks you to "play", run for the hills, scream your head off, and find authorities. Don't respond to the person, just run.

I’ve been seeing a lot of forcedmasc stuff lately and at first I thought is was a little weird until I read something about a person ripping apart the girl shell you’ve been living in and building up the man that they know you are.
