Husband!Kyojuro stopping at a town to rest on his way back from a mission and witnessing a man suggestively catcalling a woman. At first Kyojuro is ready to jump in and defend the woman's honor, but from her reaction it's apparent that she knows the man well (perhaps he's her husband) and she likes his playful banter.

Kyojuro watches on as the couple flirt boldly in public, not caring if others see their blushing faces, the promise in their eyes, or overhear their thinly-veiled hunger for each other. And of course, his thoughts wander to you and whether you would enjoy the same banter.

He thinks about it all the way home. He runs a thousand scenarios through his head. There are so many parts of you he could brazenly compliment and it's hard just to pick one. He tests out different levels of heat, settling on something he feels is suggestive without being outright lewd.

"Boldness, Kyojuro. You can do this!"

By the time he reaches your hometown he's practically giddy, knowing it's market day and you'll likely be shopping for groceries. And sure enough, there you are, completely unaware of his presence; basket resting on your hip as you chatter with the merchants, smile radiant, sunlight dancing in your hair.

"I LOVE YOU!"

The words tumble out of him far louder than intended, drawing the attention of every person in the busy street.

While they weren't the words he intended to call out, he means them just the same. And they certainly serve the purpose of making both of you blush.
