OH I LOVE IT! I love coatlicue very very much! In return, have these versions of Huitzilopotchli and Tezcatlipoca I drew in my sketchbook for a Aztec-based fantasy novel I'm working on! Huitz is supposed to be around 16 so take that with a grain of salt :>

A couple things

• His name is Tlaloc, the Tlaloque are his helpers

• He’s not satanic due to the fact that Satan was not part of their religion

• The argument that something that is the same because they look similar is false without added evidence. I could say that a lion and a horse are the same because they’re both four legged mammals but they’re very clearly different. Just because they’re both stepped and triangular doesn’t mean they’re the same thing

I am now stewing outside and drawing while eating dinner yippee

This is the Aztec god Nanahuatzin. He sacrificed himself in a fire so that the world would have a sun and humanity could live. However, there is a problem. More and more humans are spending less time in the sun to spend more time at work and in school. In some places, people spend the whole day without seeing the light of the sun because they are busy working! This makes Nanahuatzin very sad because it means his sacrifice was in vain. Please cheer him up by quitting your job and/or classes to spend more time in his radiant light.
