Do you know any spells or charms or certain plants or anything fro attracting adventure or excitement?
For adventure and success in adventure, I know the color orange works amazingly well (for the success part, anyway). As for safety while traveling and for bringing excitement try wrapping a whole nutmeg in a green cloth or green leaves and tying it off with black thread, charge the little nutmeg talisman in a full moon on a bed of basil and rose petals to give it a little kick of romance and personal luck. :) The nutmeg thing will also ward from accidents while traveling, be it physical or emotional. You could also try writing down where you would like to travel on a piece of paper, burn it from the light of a candle and add the ashes to the basil and rosepetals to help bring you to where you want to be. I hope this helped! :D Safe travels.

☾
This is a spell to help free yourself from whatever binds you or holds you back.
Materials:
black candle
black ribbon or cord
Light the candle. Wrap the ribbon loosely around your wrists and hold them out in front of you. Say the following:
“I have been bound by _____ (name of the person, bad habit, old job, an experience, or whatever it is that bound you), But no longer willing am I to be, I let it/him/her go and walk away, And so it is that I am free.”
When you have finished reciting the spell, allow the ribbon to slide off your wrists. Dispose of the ribbon somehow – burn it, bury it, etc.

Mirror Scrying Probably the most salient form of scrying available to our cultural consciousness, thanks to Snow White. -Black Mirror scrying (done with a black tinted mirror) works best for me, because otherwise I fall victim to my own vanity and just stare at myself. There’s a good Urban Witch tips post around here somewhere that suggests using your blank smartphone screen as a black mirror on the go.
Water Scrying -With liquid in a bowl of any colour, though I prefer a deep, transparent blue. You can also add food dye. -In the bath, and accompanied by other bath magic like oils and herbs and whatever works for you. -Staring at the Ocean (I’m very lucky to live next to the Pacific). Results would vary depending on weather conditions, i.e. if the surf is rough or calm, what colour sky is being reflected, what the wind is doing, where the tide is etc. Probably good for contacting deities with ocean associations, if that’s your jam. -Staring at a Lake (I also live next to a lake), similar in practice to Ocean Scrying, with the added bonus of relative stillness and aquatic fauna making ripples, trees casting shadows, floating flowers, a reflection of the sky.
Crystal Scrying I prefer Amethyst, but use whatever gem works for you.
Close Your Eyes Sometimes I can close my eyes and see the most vivid things, not imagination or visualisation, just scenes, floating across my vision.
Dream Scrying I’ve never tried it, but it’s probably a form of Oneiromancy (which I do practice). If you’re lucid or have any control over your dreamscape, try scrying on any medium in there. I think it would be cool but I can’t really try it yet.
Fire Scrying -I hate candles, but a lot of people have a good time scrying with them. -I DO HOWEVER LOVE STARING AT FIRE. -Bonfire scrying I last tried on New Year’s Eve, whilst under the influence of some questionable substances. It was going well, but people were starting to stare at me so I had to stop. -Hearth scrying would be a more accessible form of this, and I would personally use it for scrying with Hestia.
Sky Scrying -Can be done during the day, with clouds (similar to Nephelomancy) or the wild blue yonder (you really have to come to Australia to appreciate how BLUE the sky is). -Can also be done at night, with the moon, or stars. Stargazing is a practice I came into after my childhood, when we finally realised I was near sighted and really couldn’t see much up there.
Smoke Scrying -With incense, watching the curls of smoke was one of the first things I did as a young witch. -And now, as an adult, cigarette smoke is equally fascinating (though I would not recommend picking up a smoking habit for the sake of witchcraft, or at all).
Steam Scrying -With your kettle or warm beverage of choice, very similar to smoke scrying, obliquely related to nephelomancy.
To enchant an item is to infuse it with magickal energy. This energy can come from a variety of sources, including planets, crystals, herbs, or even yourself.
Some individuals use the words “enchant” and “charm” synonymously as a way to describe the process of infusing something with energy, but for the sake of this post and due to my own beliefs, you enchant something and it then becomes a charm. Alternately, a charm can be something with its own innate energy, like a crystal or herbal amulet.
The process of enchanting is extremely versatile and there are many ways to do it successfully, so long as you keep your intent clear in your mind. My personal preference when it comes to enchanting items is to allow 12-24 hours (overnight or a full day) for the item to be infused with energy and become a charm - although, this is completely left up to the individual spell-caster.
Here are a few ideas on how to enchant items, in no particular order:
Surround the item with crystals of corresponding intent
Surround the item with herbs of corresponding intent
Place the item in a jar filled with herbs that represent your intent
Place the item in front of a candle and meditate on your intent
Anoint the item with an oil, charged water, or crystal elixir of corresponding intent
Hold the item in your hand(s) and visualize it filling with the appropriate energy
Hold the item in your hand(s) and speak your intent aloud
Craft a sigil or symbol to keep near the item in an envelope or sachet
Write your intention on paper and keep in an envelope with the item
Pair the item with a corresponding runestone or tarot / oracle card in an envelope
Take the item and put it in a box with other items that represent your intent such as crystals, herbs, talismans, amulets, etc.
Bury the item in soil with herbs and/or crystals that match your intent (please don’t put salt on your lawn though, unless you want dead grass)
Pass the item through incense smoke that matches your intent
