Hey mama, im having a suer shitty day i broke up with a long term partner and now i have to move out. We're both super scared. We've been togther for 5 years. He is my best friend in the whole world but im terrified this will change that.
Part 2: Mainly what im asking is do you have/know of any friendship healing spells? Or anything of that nature? Thank you in advance and i hope you have a super awesome dayMy answer: It sounds like you may need a spell to move forward in your life and to move on. THIS spell can be slightly modified for your use! If it doesnt seem to your liking perhaps search spells for letting go or spells for moving on
Need:
1. pen and paper 2. cayenne pepper (passion/protection) 3. red pepper flakes (passion/protection) 4. chili powder (passion/protection) 5. cinnamon (success) 6. vanilla beans (positivity) 7. coffee grounds (dispels negativity) 8. one jar 9. red string (passion/strength) 10. yellow string (happiness)
Steps:
1. Write down on a piece of paper everything that you’re afraid of and want to overcome. Afterwords fold it up.
2. Then place the cayenne pepper, red pepper flakes and chili powder in the jar. Bury the piece of paper inside the peppers visualizing all of your fears, second guesses and doubts burning away and being replaced with a firey passion, courage and motivation.
3. Next, put in the cinnamon for success in overcoming your fears. Put in vanilla beans for positivity and then coffee grounds to dispel any negativity. When you’re done screw on the cap and say:
“Heart of a lion, these fears I will overcome. The days of me second guessing myself are done. Courage and strength will be my aid, my friends. I will be the one to win in the end.”
4. After, tie on the yellow string and then the red. Place the jar where you can see it. Touch it, hold it, etc whenever you need a reminder to be brave.
To enchant an item is to infuse it with magickal energy. This energy can come from a variety of sources, including planets, crystals, herbs, or even yourself.
Some individuals use the words “enchant” and “charm” synonymously as a way to describe the process of infusing something with energy, but for the sake of this post and due to my own beliefs, you enchant something and it then becomes a charm. Alternately, a charm can be something with its own innate energy, like a crystal or herbal amulet.
The process of enchanting is extremely versatile and there are many ways to do it successfully, so long as you keep your intent clear in your mind. My personal preference when it comes to enchanting items is to allow 12-24 hours (overnight or a full day) for the item to be infused with energy and become a charm - although, this is completely left up to the individual spell-caster.
Here are a few ideas on how to enchant items, in no particular order:
Surround the item with crystals of corresponding intent
Surround the item with herbs of corresponding intent
Place the item in a jar filled with herbs that represent your intent
Place the item in front of a candle and meditate on your intent
Anoint the item with an oil, charged water, or crystal elixir of corresponding intent
Hold the item in your hand(s) and visualize it filling with the appropriate energy
Hold the item in your hand(s) and speak your intent aloud
Craft a sigil or symbol to keep near the item in an envelope or sachet
Sew, stitch, or carve a sigil into the item (thanks @stormbornwitch !)
Write your intention on paper and keep in an envelope with the item
Pair the item with a corresponding runestone or tarot / oracle card in an envelope
Take the item and put it in a box with other items that represent your intent such as crystals, herbs, talismans, amulets, etc.
Bury the item in soil with herbs and/or crystals that match your intent (please don’t put salt on your lawn though, unless you want dead grass)
Pass the item through incense smoke that matches your intent

Although candles are a relatively modern part of magic, they are now a significant one. In candle magic, the candle is often dressed before it is burned.
Dressing can include some or all of these steps:
Cleaning the candle of unwanted energies
Filling the candle with the intent of the spell
Carving information on the candle, especially identifying information if the candle represents another person
Rubbing special oil on to the candle
Adding powdered herbs on top of the oil (big chunks will burn!)
Adding additional decorations
In ceremonial magic such as Wicca, dressing a candle may be very ritualistic and have specific rules. Refer to your tradition to figure out the correct steps. In folk magics or intuitive paths, think about your goals for the spell, what the candle represents, and what feels right to you.
Should all candles be dressed? No, I don’t think so. Sometimes a candle is a small sacrifice (of goods and effort) and simply burning it is the right thing to do. If you want to light a candle to honor an ancestor or spirit, I don’t think it needs to be dressed.
Is this list comprehensive? I doubt it. These are just the common ones I know about.
Fire hazard? Magic is a part of nature, it does not defy nature. Magical candles are not less likely to set things on fire. If you’ve never dressed a candle with oil or herbs, do a test run first to see if it will ignite. No candles should be allowed to burn without supervision, so if the spell calls for the entire candle to burn down, consider choosing a small one for the spell. That being said, if you are going to leave a candle by itself anyway, keep it in a big dish filled with sand or water (that is sure to catch the candle if it falls over), at least 2 feet away from all fabrics and walls.
Candlesticks and carvers. The candlesticks or holders that you use will be soaked in the energy of the spells you cast. Give them a good washing to get the wax off and a nice spiritual cleansing to get rid of the ‘leftovers’. Likewise, whatever you use to carve in the candle is a miniature wand that will be imprinted with whatever you send through it. Consider using a disposable tool like a toothpick and throw it away outside.

My dash isn’t as witchy as I’d like it to be
Reblog/like if you post
- spells - artwork (personal or other) - photography (personal or other) - witch tips - pagan/Wiccan or other magick related religions - occult knowledge - paranormal - really anything that falls under the spectrum of “witchy”
Later I’m going to post a super intense all purpose (but mainly protection) powder, but I know how hard it can be to get all the ingredients you need. Here’s a great powder to protect your space and yourself as you go and sling those spells!
What you need:
Basil
Garlic
Rosemary
Sage
Salt
A jar
Mortar and Pestle (or food processor)
Optional:
Dragon’s Blood Resin
Ginger
Ashes of a sigil of protection
What to do:
Get all of your dried ingredients together
Grind them in portions in your mortar and pestle until it’s a fine/coarse grainy texture.
or
Throw them all in your food processor and give it several pulses until it’s a fine/coarse grainy texture.
Carefully pour into your jar
Optional:
Hold over a fire/leave it out in the sun/moon to charge it
Instructions:
Dust over thresholds after cleansing the area to allow only positive energy to come through.
Dust over windowsills to make sure nothing with slimy energy oozes in.
Put a pinch in the corners of a room to protect the area from arguments.
Put a small pinch in your shoes before you leave each morning to help protect you.
Is there a way to draw witches near, so I can meet them before I give them their jar?
I keep this spell in the bathroom on top of the toilet, because if it lures negative energy there but doesn10 quite trap it, I’ll have a backup plan for disposing of the energy: simply flushing the toilet!
- baking soda
-sage
-rosemary
-thyme
-any other herbs or crystals that symbolize protection and/or strong family ties to you.
-A container (I picked up this little bathtub at the dollar store for $1.25. It blends in well with my bathroom decor)
-Gather your ingredients. If you cleanse your space or cast a circle, do so now. Personally, I invoke the archangels: Michael, Gabriel, Raphael, and Uriel.
- invoke whatever deities, if any, you work with. Ask for their blessing and assistance with this task.
-add your herbs to your container, taking time to meditate over the purpose of each one. I used sage for cleansing, rosemary for energy (my family needs it lol) and thyme for strong family ties.
- ask for protection over each member of the family, including pets. Name them one by one, either silently or in your head.
- cover everything with baking soda. Meditate on its use drawing out odors and disinfecting spaces. Will that it may do the same for negative energies in your home.
-set your container near your toilet, back door, or garbage cans. Somewhere that in the event of a backup of nasty energy, it has somewhere to go other than back into your home. That way it will get flushed down the toilet, tossed out with the trash, etc.
- Thank and dismiss any entities that you invoked.
- physically and spiritually clean up as usual.
Change the mixture on regularly occurring feast days within your spiritual practice, or just whenever you feel like your home needs it.
If you try this spell, please ask questions or send feedback regarding how it worked for you.
