In 23 days.
It is day 25 now btw. There is a massacre happening right now in Gabaliya (populated area in the north) and in Al Nonsayat (in the south filled with refugees from the north).
They are now bombing the north and the south heavily. And officially the amount of explosives dropped on Gaza (18,000 tons) has surpassed the nuclear on Hiroshima in 1945 (12,000 tons).
All that plus the ground invasion.
Keep talking. Keep sharing. Keep posting.

If we let ai image generators and their users discourage us and stop us from making art, then yes, they win. If we literally ignore them and make art because we can and because we are human, then we win. The people who use ai will eventually get bored of it and stop using it as much. Thereās only so many things that people who are unwilling to use their imaginations can think of. How we keep human made art alive is by supporting human made art and human artists!! AND, ai art is digital, not physical. Thereās no ai oil painting, thereās no ai sketching, thereās no ai pencil and paper, if youāre worried about ai stealing your digital art, make traditional art! Donāt ever give up because if we give up then they automatically win. Nothing will ever replace human made art because we wonāt let it. We will always be here creating because we can, and because WE are human.
I think the best way to fight this AI shit is just to support actual creators. The cat's out of the bag with AI; our data's going to be taken and used without our consent whether we like it or not, so maybe we should put efforts into holding up those who create their own stuff. Comment/interact on people's writings and art. Make it worth them posting; make it clear that what the people are interested in isn't generated stuff, but things that people have actually done themselves. It's a drop in the ocean, but showing creators that it's them that deserve the support at least serves to cut off a tiny bit of oxygen to these AI hogs - and make a difference to creatives who are trying against hope to share with a community.

And May The Screams You Ignored Haunt You Every Night:
This was a choice.
A choice of complacency.
A choice to ignore.
A choice to be willfully ignorant.
We funded it.
We cheered for it in our actions, or lack thereof.
And if there is anyone to blame, it is us.
It is our fault for not taking our power back.
It is our fault for choosing to value material items over the welfare of our fellow humans.
It is our fault for not demanding more.
āWhy only Palestine?ā, they ask.
āWhy donāt you focus on problems in your own backyard?ā
Palestine is our backyard.
Palestine is the litmus test, for if we didnāt fund the fascism in Palestine, we ourselves would be free.
If we didnāt find Israel, we ourselves would have basic human rights.
If we didnāt elect the corrupt, the world would not be the military industrial complexās playground.
If we reclaimed our power, our elected officials would work for us, and not their next lobby check.
We chose this.
We choose it with every dollar we spend, every piece of media we consume, and with every scream we ignore.
