This drawing was mostly me just messing around with my art app. Specifically, I was messing around with the background. I liked how it turned out. I think that it actually looks like a cloudy day! I didn't feel like line art for the character would match up with the style of the background, so I just colored over my sketch. The character's design is based off of Coraline (the movie). Anyhow, I like how the drawing turned out.
I don't have much to say about this drawing. I really enjoyed drawing the hair in this one, though. It has so many fun shapes! I drew him with his left eye bandaged because I wanted him to still be healing from losing his eye. For some reason, I kept imagining this was Siffrin as a tired college student who has just met Isabeau (off-screen). That's why he looks tired in this. Now that I'm thinking about it, him being tired could make sense game-wise. Suffering from losing an eye would be quite exhausting. (Small spoiler for an intersection between Siffrin and Isabeauβ)
Now I'm imagining they're looking up at Isabeau who is about to give them the eye patch he made for them. Anyhow, this was just fun for me to draw. I think Siffrin looks really nice in this drawing.
One more post of Siffrin to go!
This is just a doodle I did of Siffrin in a cute outfit.
Okay, so I was trying something new with the coloring. I was using flat colors (as in unblended colors) to represent lighting, though I blended the colors in his eye. I rather quite liked how this piece turned out. It's pretty in a messy way. But poor Siffrin isn't having a great time at all! They're really not fine. Anyhow! As I was working on this drawing, at some point, I thought that the color layer looked rather quite......well, creepy. I'll be adding a screenshot I took while I was working on that below along with a second version of the original drawing. The second version is where I used my colorless blender tool on my base colors since I figured that would work out well. If I continue blending colors, I'd like to have both versions to see what I need to do as a reference, you know.
You should be able to click on the individual images to see them on a bigger scale.
Yeah, I wasn't kidding when I said the color layer looks very creepy. Anyhow, the blending on the second version turned out quite nice, I think. It added a lot of depth to the hair, but I had a lot of trouble with rest of Frin's body. The face was the most difficult for me to blend. The marker kept running into parts of the drawing I did not want it to touch!
By the way, if you happen to be one of the few people following me, I'm sorry because I have a bunch of drawing saved up that I'm posting today. Sorry about the post overload that's about to happen. On that note, I doubt I'll put too much writing on those posts because it would exhausting to do that much writing in such a short timeframe. Bye!
Dear compassionate souls, I come to you with a heavy heart, burdened by our story, our lives shattered by the ongoing onslaught of violence in Gaza. Since the beginning of October we have been suffering from terrible conditions and difficulties. Living in Gaza is terrifying during these times, bombs are constantly falling and our lives are in danger. Our house was completely destroyed and we were forced us to move from khanyounis to el mawwasi with minimal personal belongings. I am Ahmed Al-Agha, 25 years old, a graduate of media and mass communication from Al-Azhar University in Gaza. I was a volunteer in the Public Relations Department at the University of Gaza. Due to the difficulty of jobs in the Gaza Strip, I had to register for a professional diploma in culinary arts, but I did not complete it due to the terrible war. After my father passed away in 2021, life pushed me to grow up early and take responsibility for my family, including my mother (samah), my brother(omar)and my three sisters, abla 20years old,yomna17years old and jody 9years old. I dream of owning a small restaurant in order to support my beautiful family. Allow me to introduce you to my family, the very core of my existence: Samah, my great mother, an Arabic language graduate, a strong, courageous, compassionate, and extremely generous mother. She loves her kitchen utensils more than anything else, and becomes very sad if a plate or cup breaks. Her main goal in life is to gain her motherβs approval and the happiness of her children in all possible ways and to do the impossible for them. Omar is an accounting graduate from Al-Aqsa University in Gaza. He is an ambitious young man with big dreams. He loves going out with his friends and driving cars. He used to work for Atlas , but at the beginning of November the company's headquarters was completely destroyed, and he is now without work. Abla is an intelligent and educated girl, she loved children and reading novels, My mother depends on her to manage the household. She prepares us the best shawarma fattah in the world and many wonderful desserts. She studies English at Al-Aqsa University and dreams of becoming an English teacher, but her dream will not come true because her university was completely destroyed. Youmna is a wonderful girl, a student in the second year of secondary school. She has a leadership personality. She was a camp leader in the Association for Culture and Free Thought. She has a talent for drawing and participates in art exhibitions in her school and in civil society institutions. She loves drinking Nescafe and listening to music when she draws. She has courses in drawing. The characters: Her dream is to create her own art gallery and to study at the College of Fine Arts. Jody, my little sister, is 9 years old. She is smart and beautiful. She worked and dreams of becoming a model in the future and has the talent of acting. She participated in an advertisement for a bridal chalet and was the heroine of the advertisement. I felt very happy to participate in the advertisement. She suffered from severe psychological disorders at the beginning of the war after she saw several children dispersed as a result of the bombing of the house opposite ours. I try to maintain her psychological state by going together to the seashore and meeting her friends in the nearby tents and playing with them so that she is not distracted by the terrible news and scenes shown on the Internet. , the war has shattered our lives, leaving us without a safe haven or a place to call it home. We are human beings, just like you. We eat, drink, watch Tom and Jerry, love to travel, and love life . The only solution to save my family is to get them out of Gaza by paying an amount of 5,000 US dollars for each of the above-mentioned people to . If the money is available, it can get them out within thirty days. βPlease consider that the above mentioned people are your family. How would you like them to be helped ? Your help, even if it is just one dollar, Im sure that it will never forget your help
I'VE FINISHED THE GAME! FINISHED IT THIS PREVIOUS FRIDAY! IT WAS AMAZING! I WON'T GIVE ANY SPOILERS, THOUGH. BUT NOW, I'M REPLAYING THE GAME BECAUSE BECAUSE BECAUSE - THERE'S A SECRET ENDING! When I finished the game, I immediately began watching animatics/animations that I had saved up. But then I saw a spoiler warning about the secret ending. Since I really want to get this ending, I immediately began the game again not even a hour after I finished it. I'm already back in Act 3, but I forgot how long Act 3 is. Though, I'm realizing there's a lot of things I missed in my first playthrough, so I'm still having fun.
Anyhow, onto the drawing. As you can probably tell, I'm better at drawing characters from the shoulder up (honestly, I draw characters from their shoulders up way too much). In this drawing, I was able to do more experimentation with Siffrin's design. I was able to practice drawing faces/head structures. With my previous drawings, the head was too small for me to really do a lot with it. I better at drawing things at a bigger scale at the moment.
I think I'm finally getting a hang of drawing Siffrin's hair. I really love how it looks! It's so fluffy! I think the hair in my other drawings feels too stiff, but the hair in this one feels more free.
I decided I wanted to give Siffrin an eye bag. Considering how exhausted he is, I decided it fit. I mean, Frin has been told they look as though they haven't slept in weeks. So, yeah.
My art app has a colorless blender marker, so I used that for the eye bag. I decided I wanted to experiment a bit more with blending, so I did that for a few of the shadows.
With the angle I was drawing from, I figured we would be able to see the sides of Siffrin's pins. I tried to make them look three-dimensional. I might've made them have too much depth, though. They should probably be thinner. I considered adding a shine to them, but it didn't look right considering how much white is surrounding them.
With all that in mind, I think this is my favorite drawing of Siffrin that I've done. I feel as though this one does the best job at capturing Siffrin's personality. I'm getting closer to a design for them in my art style. It's more stylized and feels more natural. My other drawings of Siffrin feel a bit forced. All in all, I think that I'm getting better at drawing them!
I'm back in the Gravity Falls Fandom, baby! Still haven't read "The Book of Bill", though. This is my first time drawing Stanley, and I'm quite pleased with how this piece turned out. If anyone actually sees this post, feel free to comment about your favorite scene with Stan. My favorite scene is either when Stan fought a pteridactyle (no idea if I spelled that right) or when he fought those zombies.
(This drawing contains spoilers for content revealed by the secret ending of In Stars and Time. You have been warned.)
(You were happy once...aren't you? You were once an optimistic person. You once could laugh freely. Smiles were once true and painless. Lines were once improvised on the spot.)
(Oh, where is that person now? What would they think of you? What would they think of the actor that replaced them? Would they understand? Would they comfort you and show you the light that time stole from you?)
(...Or would they hate you and all that you've done)
I originally drew this in my sketchbook. I wanted to practice drawing anatomy. I think it turned out rather good. (I'm surprised at how well the hands and legs turned out!) The clothes are my version of the clothes Siffrin wears underneath his cloak, by the way. I didn't want to draw the cloak because it would cover most of the anatomy.
Other than the anatomy, I really like how the hair turned out! I've been drawing it to be fluffier. And longer. I didn't feel like drawing the black parts of their hair. Maybe this version of Siffrin has decided to grow out their hair to be darkless.
This drawing is difficult to see fully on mobile, so I'll put it next to the sketch below to make it smaller. That's the only way I know how to change its size. If you click on it, you can see it fully.
Hopefully that works.
I'm a 16 year old amature artist. I only speak English, currently. I go by she/her or they/them. I support the LGBTQ. My current fandoms are Gravity Falls and The Owl House. I'm not that knowledgeable about the Gaza situation, so I probably won't be able to help too much. I can only reblog posts about it, at the moment.
