What do you think Blåhaj is watching tonight?
What a beautiful gang of reactions I saw on this post! I simply have to share it with the world:
I am filled with a sense of inner joy. Thank you @brickwhartley!
Humans like to smell the genitals of plants, even going so far as to cut them off and give them to each other.
let me explain. at my work, the cashiers are able to use a PA system to call people for customer service, taking baskets, price check, all that stuff.
When we close up, the manager has to go around and ask if anyone needed to buy anything, and no one had to.
One of the cashiers closing up decided it would be really funny if he asked over the PA if a certain employee, (who was right next to him) had to buy anything. He knew they didn't have to buy anything, but he still asked over the PA anyways.
All in all, cashiers have all the power.
At work yesterday, 5 minutes into the start of my shift, my produce manager had me and another produce employee clean up some sticky stuff on the floor from a watermelon, and we also had to dig through the big watermelon bin to find the crushed one. It wasn't pretty.
One of the cashiers working Deli told me that the sticky puddle had been there since the morning, and no one cleaned it up since then. Me and the other employee needed to use a whole stack of paper towels and like 4 regular towels to clean up all the watermelon goop.
And it was supposed to be my grocery shift...
Hey, if ya'll have been following up on my theatre debacles, you'll know that I was Assistant Stage Manager for my last show, even though I did more work than the Stage Manager themselves.
Well, because my old director left, (Moon talked about it in their post here, we work in the same theatre company) we got a new one, and because I was the most senior member of the Stage Crew, the Sound Designer was talking to them, and mentioned about me being ASM last year but doing more than the SM, and my director made me the Stage Manager! I finally get the title to go with all the work I'm going to have to do for this production! I'm so happy!
(is this how actors feel like when they get cast as one of the main roles istg)
Anyways I'll try to be more active with my theatre updates, as this is one wacky show and we've got a lot of new people in our company.
This Tumblr account is for random reblogs, theatre stuff, and my All For The Game hyperfixation. (and other silly queer things) Enjoy!
