Production Update

Today at rehearsal, we did a full-cast line run, with a good 5 minutes spent trying to figure out how to number the pages, and a few rearranges.

After that, while people practiced, I stole the director's tape measure to measure a very tall flat that we're (me) gonna paint.

Although, because I am not the tallest, I asked the tallest actor we have (who was conveniently near where I was measuring) if they could help me measure the flat.

It worked, and I kept that tape measure on my belt for the rest of rehearsal, as well as a Sharpie if I needed it. My stage manager, upon seeing my ingenuity, wanted to try, but it didn't work as their pants had no belt loops for some reason.

Anyways, for the rest of rehearsal, because us on tech had nothing to do, the sound designer, the stage manager and I all played Hangman.

Anyways, only 6 weeks left and we've only just started actually rehearsing!!!

ok so i was reading some Joe x Nicky stuff a while ago and forgot to close my browser and i was working with someone and was gonna show something on my laptop so i opened it and BAM! Joe x Nicky stuff. I closed the browser quickly and they never asked any questions. So how's your day?

Roberd here. A couple quick notes. I can’t believe Brick only had one assistant crab. An exec of his level? That’s ridiculous. I’m gonna need 3, maybe 4 more crabs here at my desk, to take care of everything I have to do. 

Another thing. Breaks are too long. Let’s keep these assembly lines moving. Brick’s built a great thing here in terms of supply and demand. But if he can come back and find we’ve increased productivity by 40, 50% then that’ll reflect great on me. He’ll be proud of me. So no more mid-mid-morning breaks, early-afternoon breaks, all that stuff. You don’t need ‘em. You crabs are so naturally energetic. 

Lastly. Work culture. The island stuff is great. Love it. Vibes on vibes. But it’s time to admit it: you guys aren’t at Clawland anymore. Let’s get profesh. No crab rave music on the work floor. No crazy outfits. Focus on the products.
