falls asleep on the couch

On purpose? Jazz. On accident? Prowl. He eventually just resolves to stop doing paperwork in the living room, but Jazz likes his company. And getting to sneak some quality couch snuggles.

makes friends with the neighbors

Oh, Jazz. Prowl once tried to get their neighbors investigated for improper recycling sorting. That might sound like a stretch, but he’d deduced that it was a front for an energon distillery, and wanted to put an end to it. Jazz warned them ahead of time and now they get free high-grade. Prowl doesn’t know Jazz’s supplier and honestly thinks it’s the best they’ve managed to get for the price.

is the adventurous eater

Jazz again! However, Prowl can be encouraged to try adventurous food with enough logic, which has resulted in some of his favorite foods being weirder than usual.

hogs the covers at night

Prowl. He insists that he does not snore, take any more of the covers than he is allotted in their relationship, OR sleeptalk, but Jazz knows better. He’s a blanket hog and his doorwings make being the big spoon hard. Someday, he’ll figure out how to be the big spoon without getting smacked in the nose by a twitchy wing.

forgets to do the dishes

Neither of them. Jazz knows how upset not doing the dishes makes Prowl, and as if Prowl would forget something that simple. He has alerts for everything, I’d imagine.

tries to surprise their partner more often

Jazz, but Prowl always sees it coming. On the rare occasion Prowl tries to surprise Jazz, he also sees it coming but pretends that he didn’t. One of the downsides of a relationship between a tactician and master spy.

leaves dirty laundry on the floor

Jazz, but he manages to clean it up before Prowl ever notices. One time Prowl came home before Jazz (an unlikely happenstance) and noticed the mess on the floor and Jazz had to hear about it for weeks. He still occasionally hears about it when Prowl wants to convince him of something.

stays up til 2 AM reading

Prowl. This is what leads to him accidentally falling asleep on the couch. Jazz doesn’t really mind, but he’s taken to reminding Prowl to actually sleep on time when he’s too deep into the Law of Polyhex or whatever’s caught his interest.

sings in the shower

Jazz. He also knows Prowl does it too, but Prowl refuses to sing outside of the shower. Which is a shame, because their voices sound nice together.

takes the selfies

Jazz again! Prowl took one once and somehow broke the selfie-stick (which Jazz totally owns because how else do you get those good angles?? We aren’t monsters here) and he panicked and shoved the phone at Jazz.

plans date night

Prowl. They both have really busy schedules, so when it comes to planning something that works for the both of them, Prowl has an ‘A Beautiful Mind’-style wall full of calendars, dates, pictures of potential disturbances, etc, etc. He has planned 20 successful dates so far. Jazz jokes that they’re going out to a bar on date 21. Prowl is trying to make it happen.
