Their relations is very VERY strained

Pomni is nobody in the family, while Jax is a respected capo. So he looks down on her almost everytime and doesn't tolerate her talkativeness

A subordinate in the hierarchy as a whole does not even have the right to say something or ask a superior without permission. Such a "rule" was in many mafia families, and Jax is a perfect example of this kind of gangster behavior

plus Jax always treat her and always checks on her suspecting her as an undercover agent. Who knows maybe this random girl from the street is an actual cop huh
