Hey aces, I have some phrases for you all to learn and to repeat whenever you find yourself arguing with some aphobe about the validity of asexuality,ace people or how they are different from whatever thing they bring up :

“You are not ace so you never will be able to understand asexuality but that doesnt mean that my identity is not valid”

” You are not the authority of deciding the validity of identities and the validity of identities isnt determined by how much you can/cannot understand them”  

“Its not my job to educate you about asexuality and devote my time and efforts into explaining it to you when i dont even know you properly and there are ample resources about asexuality on the internet” and  most importantly :

“Just because you are confused about what asexuality is doesnt mean that Im confused about it too “

Its high time we start reminding these people that “ace discourse” isnt a simple debate topic they can indulge in whenever they feel like venting their frustration towards other people but actually involves lives and experience of real,living people who will not stop existing no matter how many “hot takes” they post about them.

Our existence and lives are not a debate people really need to understand that.
