I feel so bad for her too, she has so many struggles too 😭

sometimes I just think about S2 Cleo. grappling with the trauma of her parents’ divorce and her mom leaving. in the first episode of the show she says she tells her mom everything, so the abandonment she’s feeling must be so intense. and then she pushed Lewis away, breaking his heart before he could break hers. because it was never about him being overbearing, it was about the fear of losing him, of being abandoned again. irrational, yes, but an obvious trauma response. and then he starts dating Charlotte, which obviously he’s allowed to do, but it must feel like all her worst fears are coming true. He is abandoning her. Or at least it feels that way. And Cleo knows she’s not being fair when she’s jealous, but she can’t help it. And it just gets worse and worse as Charlotte gets more and more controlling. And she can’t really talk to her dad because he’s trying his best to be a single parent and she doesn’t want to hurt him. And nobody seems to notice just how bad it’s getting for her, not even Emma and Rikki. It takes her literally running away from home for them to notice how much she’s struggling. I just feel so bad for her ya know?
