Saw a woman wearing one of those trendy flower hair clips today, and it left me reminiscing about who I used to be.

Always dressed up, always in touch with the latest styles—hair clips, accessories, outfits, everything. It was rare to catch me dressed down. But it wasn’t just that—I was vibrant, full of life.

The exactly one year ago me would be dumbstruck to see the today me. I may not dress like I used to, nor do I carry the same lightness. Yet, as I look at myself in the mirror now, I realize that that me isn’t lost. I’ve just grown into someone different, someone new. Life unfolded in ways I never imagined, shaping me in ways I never asked for. After all, life has its own way of reshaping us.

Maybe someday, I’ll find my way back to that version of myself—the one who radiated warmth. Or maybe, just maybe, I’ll discover a new version of me, one that shines just as brightly, in a different way.

I have been falling of the edges again. How many times do you hit the ground till you get used to hard ground hitting your body. How many times you get lost in dark just to know that it changes with time even if not to light, but it does change and you can breathe differently. I am waiting for moment that will set me free. I am wishing on stars once again. I hope their kindness find me so that i can move with ease. I no longer wish to drag myself in life. I want to run free.
