Because they aren’t the same faces. The operator is way older than the drifter (as in when they were added) so their faces are kinda outdated. So it’s better to use different faces and blend them together for the drifter to loom more like the operator.

Why did DE make the drifter weird looking, I gave my drifter the exact two faces as my operator/tenno and they still look weird, that's why I put the Judicial Oculus on them

I disagree. There’s exactly two characters that has some chemistry between each other. It’s Sanhua and Jinhsi. You cannot convince me otherwise.
