They seemed to know each other and Riko backed off so I assume that when he said he would protect them he mostly meant from RIko who was affiliated with the mafia. Idk. It made since that he’d protect Kevin cause I don’t think the main family would care about their drama but after learning about Niel’s (fake) past he shouldn’t have promised to protect him (Andrew literally has no money or resources other than throwing himself at the mafia)

Still utterly baffled by what the fuck Andrew was supposed to do to protect anyone from the mafia.
