Nyxie Maera, a Catfolk Cartomancer/Hex Channeler Witch. She’s a fortune teller who throws cards to hurt and help. She’s very fun to draw, I am SO happy with her charmy-sticker illustration (so much that I *almost* used it as my roll20 icon, but it lost all it’s detail at the right scale). I also had fun doing the full art pack for her, as it’s been a hot minute since I’ve done the full monty like this. Speaking of, the extra bonuses;

Ok…I guess I mangled the surname at some point, because I could’ve sworn that was a real name, but oh well, I’m too into it to correct it at this point.

end of the year, so time for the art summary

yeah...my drawing amount has been steadily decreasing as the years go by, hasn't it...idk why i didn't sketch anything march/april (i mean Roizen didn't die until like...june i think? so that's not the excuse), but you know, for the constant feeling of "uhg i'm not drawing enough" i was happy to see that i did do more art than i thought. and yeah, sept is allowed since i decided after visiting my boyfriend over labor day that i was going to go to TexRen, so had to prep for that

but otherwise, yeah it's actually been a pretty big year for me. i got a boyfriend at the end of last year, and we're still going strong, he's great; we're talking about me going back to visit next year...and maybe staying. like said, i went on a vacation to go see him, and that gave me the confidence to go to TexRen a month later; i took 2 big girl vacations by myself (as in without family).

my online friday night game group finally finished the 2ish year long Runelords campaign (i joined in the middle of book 1/the start of book 2, so not entirely sure how long exactly it ran for), and we just started a new Crimson Throne campaign. my online saturday night game group is still going strong; this year we started Phandelver and finished it (sadly Roizen died in the middle, but that gave us Varya who i've still yet to draw weirdly enough), and are now on Vecna (with the new '24 rules; it's been interesting). i restarted my Carrion Crown campaign on monday nights after a 5 year hiatus...only for it to be killed off a second time in oct when the whole group went on hiatus. got a wed afternoon game group with my sibling and his friends...but that is really unstable and we haven't played since oct either. i also sorta joined an online sunday night game group, but that's not that regular...but the main big deal is that it's me interacting with new people and i was far less anxious about it.

i also took an art commission job, and am considering trying to open up for those more regularly...

so here's to another year improving as we go i guess. try to get back into being better about art, and keep on working on improving my self confidence with well everything. my year might be coming to an end, but it was a good run that i hope to keep going.
