Hiiii, apologies for the late updates, i can lie and say it gives anticipation though.

SLEEP DEPRIVED

Class 1-A x reader [platonic]

This is in 2nd person so but uses she/her

It wasn’t like you planned it. Every night you had just seemed to stay up for different reasons, important or not. Sometimes you had a TV show that was just too good so you had to finish it, and other times you were up doing forgotten homework, or doing some sort of activity. And somehow- it would just turn to morning!

This morning you had stayed up the previous night trying to review information for your exams that were coming up, so you were pacing the kitchen reciting formulas and the structures of a paper, anything you could spout out you did. The sun was rising as you heard the elevator open. Your first thought was to maybe run, it could be Aizawa and if he found out you hadn’t been sleeping he’d literally go insane.

However, it wasn’t Aizawa. It was Midoriya.

He had on some clothes that you could only assume were for running.

“Hey y/n! You’re up pretty early huh?” He said, and you laughed and gave him a quick ‘yeah’ before he went to grab a water bottle and left out the door.

You continued with your review for a good 5 minutes before the elevator opened again. You checked the clock- 7:00. It suddenly made sense, you had stayed up so long it was literally the time when most of the kids started to get ready for school. You still hadn’t changed out of your school uniform out of being too lazy so you weren’t worried but you were a bit dry eyed from the restless night. Quickly turning towards the doorway to the kitchen you see Jirou coming down with Momo, both laughing with one another. It’s not like you’re scared to tell them, but you’re just not too sure how to say that you’ve done this not once, but basically all the time. So you act natural, calmly, and soon enough all the kids of 1-A are sitting in the lobby. You sit on the floor inbetween Kirishima and Tsu.

“So, y/n, you were up really early today, did you just totally crash when we got home?” Denki said, as the rest murmur in agreement.

“Yeah actually, you were up really early, how much sleep did you get?” Midoriya asked, facing you from the other side of the couch.

“.....none.” you mumbled.

“What? Nobody can hear you extra, you talk like a mouse.” Bakugo spat, tilting his head to meet your gaze.

“I didn’t get any sleep.” You said and pursed your lips looking directly at him. “There ya go.” And the class broke out into- well...basically chaos.

“I’m sorry- NONE?!”

“There’s no way.”

“How are you alive and even slightly..happy?!”

“If I stay up for an hour I get immediate eye bags...”

“How are your eyes not BURNING?”

“Guys, guys, I’m fine! It’s not the first time anyways!” You giggled, and that laugh slowly died down as you realized you had exposed yourself.

“IT’S NOT THE FIRST TIME?!”

“HOW MANY OTHER TIMES-

“CAN I COME VISIT YOU!”

“Mineta please drop out”

“that is quite rude.”

And it soon became tradition to where if it happened again they didn’t condemn you, but assisted you instead.

“KIRISHIMA GET HER EYE DROPS AGAIN!”

“Momo can you check on her again, I feel like she’s still up.”

“Oh just let her be.”

Sometimes they would stay up with you, mostly Tokayami as he would stay up sometimes anyways, and you two would talk about anything and everything together.

The class cared for you, their classmate, tremendously. It’s only natural that they’d help you out regardless of the situation!

BAKUGO

Bakugo wasn’t really sure when he first met you about why your head was twitching or why you were repeating the sentences Aizawa had said sometimes, as he didn’t know you had tourettes. He never even spoke to you like the others did so you never had the chance to tell him until Kirishima did.

When you two started dating he started seeing patterns of when you would get to stressed and start jerking or spouting out random things you heard from youtube videos, he did his best to make sure you knew he was there for reassurance, whether it was a hand on your hand or just pure presence.

There were times when you would have ticcing fits and he would have to sit and rub your back and watch you, and in those times you realized he really was there for you.

He likes to do this thing where he rants on about things he doesn’t like to try and distract you- I’m not sure how he has so much he doesn’t like but every time it’s a new odd topic....sometimes it can literally be something like how he hates trees because when it’s fall he has to rake up the leaves and you have to say

“Bakugo they literally help you not die.” It really is a mystery sometimes how he’s so smart.

Sometimes you can be a bit upset with your tics. It’s not that you’re insecure or that you’re ashamed, but they’re difficult to deal with. The control that you could have isn’t there and that’s stressful in and of itself, and in those moments Bakugo realizes the best thing he can do for you - is make you understand that you are just like the rest of the class and the rest of the people in the world.

“Listen it doesn’t matter if you’re different because to me you’re still cool, you’re still funny, you’re still incredibly sarcastic and while I don’t enjoy that for the most part- you’re my extra regardless of whatever you feel. Get that bull out of your head.”

I mean, he wouldn’t date anybody less than the best.

MIDORIYA

Midoriya is the predictable character in the relationship. He researched about Tourettes and what he could do in times when you needed him, I mean he’s not perfect but he’d rather know something rather than nothing.

You tended to be the one who was more of a risk taker, and sometimes your tourettes got in the way of that- which could frustrate you to no end then causing harsher tics like hitting or yelling, and those were the times Midoriya tried to get anything too dangerous either out of your hands- or just out of the way so you didn’t get hurt, he was smart with it.

Other times he could be too much for you, almost treating you like a kid so you had to remind him that you know and understand precautions, but that you also want to live like everybody else and that is nothing short of your business.

You’re favorite activity with him was when he would help you study because he made it so fun for you. It could be hard to pay attention in class sometimes and do your work after school so Izuku would come over and assist you. He would make sure you guys took breaks and that you understood the topic at your own pace.

“Izuku can you like- give an example?”

“Well it’s just kind of- wait what is an example-“

In many situations Midoriya LOVED holding your hand, like he did it at any time, any place. It was something he thought wasn’t too much in public and it was reassuring for you both. When you’re tics got too much you could squeeze his hand, and other times when he wouls get anxious or something would happen he would squeeze yours. It was cute and handy!

There were instances when Midoriya definitely had his mistakes with your tics and how to deal with them but he was willing to take his time and learn because who would he be without his perfect person stayin’ by his side?

KIRISHIMA

Kirishima is probably the most sympathetic with your tics because he stay prepared for them. It’s never been like “Kirishima can you” but it’s always been more like ‘Kiri how do you always know’ and there’s never been an answer that he gave other than ‘I gotta stay ready for my lovely lover~’

Kirishima likes to do this thing where he goes “neck” after you have a rough day with your tics and with massage your neck for you or your back, depending on how your tics were. He likes takin’ care of you, and it’s not like he doesn’t know you can’t take care of yourself because hey, you didn’t get into 1-A by being a pushover.

Sometimes you’ve had times when people in school just aren’t all that accepting and Kirishima will clap back unprovoked.

“Sometimes I think about how sad you have to be to make fun of them and dang man, you got a therapist?”

Other times you’ll basically respond for him, like I said, you can DEFINITELY take care of yourself.

Whenever you’re in the car or on the bus on a trip in the case that you’ve gotten real excited (which is natural being around your boyfriends and your friends at the same time) he’ll play this playlist he made of your favorite songs and sing to distract you. Does he sing well? That wasn’t the question- but he does sing, only for you though because the other students keep dissing him.

He has a reflex of rubbing your back during free period or at lunch. I don’t think this is relevant but it’s something super adorable, and sometimes he just gives you his hand to look at and play with when you have anxiety as well to keep you calm.

Also irrelevant but other times he’ll facetime you before you guys go somewhere and ask what to wear because he wants to match with you, and it’s so cute because you could lie so hard and he’d believe everything you say.

You two are kinda a power couple like- you both can hold your own but also are such nice people, good job makin’ the rest of 1-A feel lonely guys.

TODOROKI

Todoroki is a simple guy. He doesn’t want to overcomplicate things for the most part because “why would I act like your guardian, if I’m literally your boyfriend” and that’s that.

He tends to try and keep you calm, as it’s something pretty simple for him, he knows a bunch of tactics for distractions or when those are obsolete, he’ll just sit there with you, and maybe rub your back or get a water bottle for when it’s done, he just never wants to do too much because he knows your capabilities, and he knows your limits.

He is also a large hand holder. Mostly because he doesn’t like the idea of PDA for the most part, and he doesn’t like leaving your side either, because you’re very comforting to him. It’s a given we all know he needs love and comfort please.

There have been times when people look at your because of your tics in public and Todoroki has had to give a little glare back because of the disrespect being blatantly put out. In rarer times you will both glare at the same time, those are the coolest moments of you as a couple.

Shoto doesn’t really care much for your tics only because he’d rather just make sure you’re ok then watch Avengers rather than treat you like a child if anything, and that’s because you told him first that you wanted a boyfriend not a babysitter (speakin’ facts) and at first he didn’t understand and he thought you didn’t want his help but soon understood otherwise.

Some cute things I like to think of are that he likes to put on your favorite songs when you’re anxious and try to dance for you. It’s not good- let’s start with that, because he’s kinda...stiff, but the attempt is absolutely adorable (and oh so funny).

Other things are he likes to call you cheesy nicknames when you’re cuddling because he likes your reactions everytime, because according to him, yeah he said it himself, you are very adorable when annoyed. Don’t @ me!

Overall he just loves spending time with you whenever he can, you’re truly a safe-haven for him.

DEATH NOTE BOYS WITH A PUNK! BLACK S/O

MELLO

When Mello first saw you he was intrigued. He knew what punk was obviously but actually seeing someone who was punk in person was a different story. The way you carried yourself with confidence and with your individuality oozing off of you, he was a bit smitten. So he asked you out. In the long route even if you said no- he was going to ask again anyways.

After dating for sometime you thought it would be good to reallt explain to him how you were and what it truly meant. What you were for. And you were for non-conformity. You were more politically active than most and constantly stated your disagreements with media and politics today, and even with Mello basically just staring at you- there was no embarrassment or shyness in your tone. You meant what you were saying.

Over time, Mello began to slowly absorb you and your views. ‘Anti-whatever sort of system we live in’ was what he chanted after you had gone on rants about what you believed was truly right in such a system, and it was so adorable because he truly thought that was impactful. So adorable in fact that everytime he said it you stopped everything to coddle him and embrace him. And every time, you were being fooled because he did it on purpose. 1 - Mello, 0 - You.

Now your music was not something that was hard for him to get into. He enjoys seeing you headbang or move in such ways to. Maybe you were playing classic Green Day, Circle Jerks, Misfits, whatever it was there was always something that stuck with him. He enjoyed the emotion involved- he could feel angry or frustrated or just motivated in general through the music.

Sometimes he saw you checking and would honestly be so zoned out watching you. Whether your hair was in locs. Shaved on the sides, or completely shaved off there was something about watching you and your focus on your appearance. He understood that being punk wasn’t just black clothes or objecting any modern rule, of course not. It was a way to reject the political as well as social norms of the world. And Mello loves attention and standing out so he actually started buying clothes like yours too!! He’s not completely punk but he likes trying for you.

L

L is a complicated soul he is. When he first saw you he was honestly confused. Why did you look like that- were you angry? Why were you so stone-faced. And to be honest, it was a little scary to him. Once you noticed him you walked over and for a second he thought you were going to scold him but instead you smiled and held out your hand. “Y/n.” You said, and he felt his heart beat a bit faster. Let’s not focus on that though.

You began dating quite fast as he felt no reason to wait. So when you began dating is when he began asking his questions about why you dress like that and why tou style your hair in that way, and you had given him the simple answer.

“I’m punk.”

“....what is that.”

And it’s not that he’s dumb but he’s not all that impressive when it comes to subcultures. I mean he’s a detective- he doesn’t have to be. But since his s/o is one he’ll take it upon himself to research and check his knowledge and make sure it is also the same case with you since he learned not all punk’s have some sort of consensus.

“So you are doing this to show that you go against the way things are now? Like a silent rebellion?”

“Sure yeah.”

It’s simple talks like those that happen all the time because he constantly wants to know more about you, despite being able to ask you himself, he likes surprising you with his knowledge. However he also knows that some things he has to get specifically from you since you’re black and most punk represented in the media is classically white people- he wants to understand your perspective out of all this. Nobody else’s.

When you start playing your music he kind of shuts down? He just stares at you because he’s not too sure if he likes the music or not but he soon warms up to it. He enjoys The Clash the most, he likes most of what yoy play though.

When you talk to him about politics and your beliefs he tries to listen and tie it to his understanding of being punk as well but sometimes he can’t tell if it’s something you believe or it’s a common punk belief, not that it matters, but still.

Overall this is a learning experience he doesn’t mind learning for you. It doesn’t even affect him in a negative way so he has no reason to be against it I mean, he can still kiss you and feed you cake after work so what is the problem?

MATSUDA

Matsuda is just chilling dawg. When he sees you he is a bit flustered, he can’t lie. But he doesn’t mind it, he almost embraces it. Your whole vibe attracted him from the beginning and that was surprising because he usually wouldn’t go for punk people (he hadn’t even seen many in general if at all)

He does get the courage to ask you out after staring at you for lord knows how long, and he’s almost embarrassed at how you just smile so sweetly at him. He totally misjudged your character. Even if it wasn’t on purpose he did subconsciously think you would have a more dominant personality, but that part only truly came out when talking about what you stood for as a punk black individual. Which you did quite often.

Listen- he doesn’t mean to but when you talk about that stuff all he can think about is how attractive you are. Your face, your outfits, your stature itself was so inviting. So he DOES just start kissing you and hugging you- what about it? Not like you mind, in fact you invite it everytime, but it is kind of weird how everytime it happens this is always how it ends.

When you start bringing up trying to introduce him to what it is that you are, it isn’t to convert him but he doesn’t seem to understand that. So be bites his lip and proceeds to say,

“Ah...sorry but um..I don’t think I am fit for that- not that it isn’t cool! You’re very cool and hot and I enjoy you a lot but...I don’t think it’s for me.” He stutters with a clear blush on his cheeks and you have to laugh.

“I just wanted to show you Suda I promise.” You say and he quickly relaxes his shoulders from their hunched up position.

Matsuda is not made for punk music and it’s almost funny. He tried it- he really did. He sat there and listened for an hour but he just couldn’t get into it the way you did, and it was something you expected but that didn’t mean it wasn’t any less cute to watch him try and pretend he enjoyed it with his awkward headbops.

When you talk about politics or the current state of the world and your views it’s very little that he shares his opinions because he cannot seem to want to. I mean there you are- pouring your heart and soul into this topic- especially highlighting how frustrating it is that there is barely any black-punk rep in te media, and he give you a two sentence “I agree” response. It is never happening again is what he vowed and he kept that promise.

All in all, he loves you. He loves your appearence, the way you hold yourself, your intellence, your music, everything. How could he not? There’s no question that no matter what you tell him, he’ll listen with heart eyes and remember it 10 years later, he loves you all the much.

MIRKO WITH A SMALL GIRLFRIEND

- She loves showing you off- from the moment you started dating it was like a whirlwind but the only thing that’s been consistent is the praise and affection you get from her, no shyness, just pure adoration.

“I’m literally folding laundry what are you talking about Rumi.”

- She also likes bringing you with her to interviews and things, even if you’re not relevant not a hero, she still loves to bring you everywhere and anywhere she can.

- She isn’t vulnerable often when it comes to her own feelings because she has too much pride, but no matter how difficult it is she’s going try and at least talk about it so you don’t feel like she’s just being complicated- and you have to remind her that she doesn’t owe you anything.

- When you praise her or get clingy she gets very flustered surprisingly enough. And this will only ever be the case with you.

“Rumiiii~ how was your day sweetheart?”

“Um, it was....good. Really uh, good. Yeah.” Never again will she do that again (yes she will it’s literally you.)

- She doesn’t like to sit inside all day so if you do, she’s probably going to drag you out because she wants you to know what she likes too!

- She definitely asks you to workout with her, and she either shows off to impress you for 99% of the time, or does cutesy things with you. No inbetween.

- Like if you try doing pushups she’s cheer you on and hype you up, and maybe even give you kisses after ever few reps. Just to reward you for being so cute~

- One time she took you to this event for heros and was just praising you the. whole. time. You were highly embarrassed and constantly tried to hide just a little bit behind her but she always moved too much so it was difficult.

Weeeelllppp I got tagged, dk how, and I honestly didn’t even know I had over 10 followers but let me do this as cool as possible 🤝 (trying not to be awkward and its not working)

• I like my intelligence, I got straight A’s since middle school, so that’s honestly something ai need to acknowledge more often instead of putting myself down.

• I like my hair! I would say it’s somewhere in the 3’s/4’s but it’s hard to confirm. Either way it’s pretty long and I am finally feeling confident with my natural hair as much as my straightened hair!

• I am intriguing with my height. I am 5’7, not the tallest but taller than average which to be honest I’m a bit disappointed about, I would’ve prefered to be around 5’8 at the least. Kind of a curse though because I’m the same if not taller than those that I like in animes (for example Midoriya is like an inch or so shorter than me)

• I like my sarcasm. I’ve always been a realist so I’m going to tell you the truth if you want it and if you don’t I won’t. But for the most part I try to think about the person so I know what is too far for them :) EmPaThY

Aizawa teaches kids all day, and with that you’d think he’d be exhausted having to come home to more right? Wrong, absolutely wrong. He always likes to say his kids are different, and they are, but for different reasons. Those are HIS kids, he helped you make them and it definitely shows in certain places.

Your babygirl is the most like him, she doesn’t really do anything on her own- but you do have twins! Your boy is amazingly energetic for his age, it’s honestly exhausting but when he’s so cute how can anybody complain? The two follow each other around like a train, and consistently follow you both as well.

Sometimes when you ask Aizawa to do their hair he will literally wet it, put shampoo and conditioner in it, then let them roam. No comb, no oil, just straight wild lion in there. When that happens you have to somehow lead them back into the bathroom with some sort of bribe and comb their hair.

Shouta hates how they sometimes cry and wants to make sure they feel as happy as they can all the time! However sometimes that gets in the way of actual discipline, and in those times you gotta play bad cop as annoying as it is.

There have been instances where you have caught Shouta doing the whole baby talk thing and he will literally lay down at night and go, “You never saw that ok? Ok.” And that’s the end of it because who are you to argue? Nobody, unless he aggravates you, then he must’ve forgotten about the videos...you...took?

Despite his many screw ups he’s a really good dad. The kids love him and are always by his side whenever he comes home. He constantly helps you out in putting the kids to sleep when they wake up from nightmares, or making sure they eat their food no matter how gross it is.

HAWKS

There’s something about kids that for a long time- Keigo couldn’t see himself with them, maybe it was his past or just how he behaved but he just didn’t think he was ready for kids. And then you came along and his world was shaken, twisted, and turned all the ways he thought his life would never be. So here you both are, married, in a house, with 2 year old twin nightmares.

He tries to be stern but whenever they cry he feels an immense guilt and immediately tries to redeem himself with them.

As someone with baby cousins, the kids definitely know how to manipulate him. Crying whenever they don’t get to play with him, or at the slightest drawback of attention.

Don’t even get me started on hair. You have to play bad guy and wash, comb, and style their hair because Keigo can’t do it himself, their crying just makes him go insane, he never wants to see them in pain. You however, don’t want to see them looking raggedy in public over a few tears, and have to style their hair anyways.

The twins love their daddy, and never want to be apart from them, so he decided to make Monday’s take your kids to work day at his agency. This day however, only applies to him.

“You want to bring in your kid? Does this place resemble a nursery? Get a babysitter or something.” As he says mid carrying his boy on his back and his babygirl on his waist.

After coming home from long days of patrol, seeing his babies crawling around together while you make them snacks is a sight he can’t get rid of. It’s the most domestic dream he’s ever had come true. The woman of his dreams and two beautiful children, what more could he ask for?!

When the twins speak their alien language Keigo tries to play it off and speak it back and sometimes it’s almost like he answered fluently because they’ll respond???

Overall, Hawks is a lover of his kids. He’ll play his favorite (kid friendly) songs in the car for the kids to listen to, has 15,000 photos of them taking up 90% of his phone storage, and a plethora of you as well. Together you both made the perfect little family.

FATGUM

Fatgum is absolutely fantastic with kids. I think his naturally caring nature pulls through in those moments.

With your little girl, he’ll hold her and let her rest on his stomach when she sleeps, and he’ll keep your boy wrapped up tight along with her.

Now sometimes the kids just don’t get along, and in those moments his kindness is far just too useless. Those kids will get what they want even if they can’t even say comprehensive words yet! Fatgum will have to separate them with his incredibly long arms and keep them in the palm of each hand. (Isn’t he like 8 foot something?!)

Tashiro is very whipped. VERY whipped. Like- when I say this I mean making flower crowns at 3AM so his babygirl looks like the prettiest sleeping beauty at school type of whipped. There’s no shame in it though! Absolutely none.

For his lil’ best boy, he likes to play board games with him. The kid laughs and cheers at being let win unknowingly, and he just likes having those intimate moments with his boy.

When they go to sleep, Fatgum likes to lay and talk about all the similarities he sees from them and who they match more with you. Sometimes it’s a bit of a debate but it’s usually full of kisses and maybe a bit more.

We all know Fatgum loves eating, but imagine him getting a buffet for his family so he can eat an unlimited amount of food and watch his kids eat. A good pasttime if he says so himself.

MIRIO

Mirio borderline is a kid, and by that I mean he has so much energy and excitement inside of him, that having twins was almost perfect.

He entertains them like no other! He loves picking them up and tossing them into the air only to catch them. The giggles they let out are something he could listen to for days on repeat with pleasure.

He even does their hair! You heard it right. Even when they cry because of how the detangling can be painful every once in a while, he’ll coo and comfort them as he goes, trying to be as gentle as he can.

“I know sugar, it’s alright it’ll only be a little bit!”

“I know buddy, just sit still I’ve got you.”

He also constantly loves just watching you interact with them. He likes it when you give them matching hairstyles with you. Sometimes when hero work is hard, he gets to come home to you and them asleep on the couch after watching movies together. It’s his favorite sight.

He’s not the perfect dad of course, and sometimes constant coddling isn’t what the kids need and he understands that too. It’s hard for him to play stern sometimes because it’s just not in him. When you’re not home and the kids act up…he just kind of lets them do it then talks to them about what they did and how it was wrong. No punishment, just learning.

When you come home and see them cleaning off crayon from the wall singing a cleaning song, you can’t even be mad because of how adorable the sight is.

He likes rocking the babies to sleep, hearing their gurgling come to a quiet stop and their eyes flutter shut, it’s one of the prettiest sites to him (besides you I mean c’mon)

Overall he just loves having kids. Whether they look nothing or exactly like him, they’re his! That’s something that keeps him going everyday. Coming home to his beautiful family.

this is my first time doing a Mexican Reader so bare with me here y’all

KARASUNO AND AOBA JOHSAI WITH A MEXICAN MANAGER

Pronouns: She/Her but for the most part You.

Mexican! Reader

KARASUNO

The Karasuno team was not used to having 3 managers. Let alone a foreign one. Since you arrived from Mexico, you had introduced yourself to Tsukishima and Yamaguchi who had thankfully taken a liking to you. After a few months of getting used to the culture you saw that they were both apart of the Volleyball club. At that point you knew you just had to come and and check it out!

The first time you came wasn’t really much of a greeting. Yamaguchi had lended you his notes since you had been absent and you wanted to return them before the next day so you went to the gym and saw....well....boys. Lots of them. In a millisecond- all of their eyes were on you.

“Um...hi? I have this for Yamaguchi- where is he exactly?” You asked. You had seen some of these people around like the orange haired boy, and the black haired one as they were constantly together.

“Oh yeah he’s probably in the club room, I’ll go get him for you!” The grey haired boy said as he gave a concerning grin and ran off, leaving you with the collection of eyes watching your every move.

“So! You guys like volleyball...I do too! That’s cool” You beamed, trying to create conversation. The orange haired boy bounced over.

“YOU DO?! DO YOU PLAY?!” He asked excitedly, which made you feel a little relieved.

“No I don’t, but I used to watch all the time, I love the game.” You responded with a smile as he nodded his head in understanding.

“I’m Hinata Shoyo! I’m a middle blocker!” He grinned as he waited for the natural response to his position, but it never came. You just smiled and gave him a calm response. “Cool!”

Hinata felt himself feeling a little more shy. Maybe it was because you weren’t in disbelief or because he suddenly realized that you were a lot closer than he thought, but he shook it off and backed up as Yamaguchi came out of the club room.

“Hey y/n! Guys this is y/n! She transferred here a few months ago.” He explained as you gave them all a wave like you just came. Despite being there for 5 minutes. “Yo!”

Once you left Tanaka and Nishinoya felt their souls return to their body as they ran to Tadashi.

“YAMAGUCHI! YOU KNOW HER?! HOW?! IS SHE SINGLE?!”

“DID YOU SEE HER SMILE?! SHE’S SO BEAUTIFUL” They ranted, stars in their eyes as the green-haired boy chuckled just a little.

“She’s in me and Tsukishima’s class, pretty smart if you ask me.” He responded.

How you got in as a manager was a pretty simple task. Yachi was supposed to take over for Kiyoko but she found herself struggling with the technical parts of being a manager rather than interactions and moral. And that- is when you stepped in eager to help in any way possible. So you did.

The boys already liked you when you came into the gym the first time, I mean after getting Tsukishima to tolerate you it was simply a downhill battle and it’s not like anybody was against another manager as long as they got to play.

These guys were extremely protective of you. You were this foreign first year who oh so easily volunteered to take on the job of helping handeling these kids, how could they not love you?

And that protection lasted EVERYWHERE. Somebody flirts with you? Daichi already there. Somebody insults you or your food? Nishinoya already got their number and will be telling them it’s on sight.

The girls love you! The girls nights are weekly because where could you find people to complain about and laugh at the boys to in secret? You shared with them recipies for your Chicken with Mole, and they helped make you some one time. You made the rice while they tried a hand at making the Mole and while they...struggled...it came out good and it was the effort that they valued the most!

Now since you’re Mexican you ate what you were familiar with for the most part. It wasn’t that you didn’t like Japanese food, of course not! But while you lived in Japan you didn’t have your family with you and food was the only way you could stay connected. So in your way of melting together the two cultures you sometimes made things for the team, including the coaches!

The team won a game successfully? No injuries or mishaps? Horchatas for everybody at your house no hesitation. Hinata actually got double digits on his test? Give that boy some of Enchiladas of his choice asap! The team loved your cooking! And you enjoyed giving them a taste of your home, it was a special thing between you all!

Sometimes on your bad days you would struggle with being the person you usually were. You seemed quieter and more timid when giving advice in tips. You were quite frankly, hiding in a shell the whole time. So when that happened the first time, the team decided to do some team building! They took you to an arcade [despite you refusing multiple times] and you played games all day. Watching Tanaka try and convince you that he is an amazing dancer definitly brightened your day. And even if he made a fool out of himself he didn’t mind. His lovely manager was smiling, what more could he ask for?

Overall- they all like to have you around and don’t know what they would do without you. probably die.

AOBA JOHSAI

Now with this team? It’s spoiling galore.

The first time they met you was when you were a second year transferring from Mexico and that already made you stand out from everybody else but that and the fact that you were somehow friends with Iwaizumi? Ohhh that set it off.

First off- you were a second year. Second off- not even Oikawa knew about you. What is happening?!

It turns out, you had met Iwaizumi because you lived near his family and on numerous occasions had asked him where everything was around here are as you walked to school together. You went to a separate place in the school when he went to go meet the team so you never met him until the night when Tooru slept over Hajime’s house and saw you knock on his door the next morning ready to walk.

Tooru opened the door cautiously wondering why you were outside his best-friends house in the uniform for their school. Wait- were you confessing? Did you find out his adresss and go to confess? He had to let you down easy- simple.

“Hi! I’m looking for Iwaizumi?” You said. You knew who this was you weren’t oblivious, but you had never met before so you had to introduce yourself.

“Look, I don’t know what you’re here for but Iwaizumi is not looking for a relationship right now because he is way to busy trying to pull up his trash gra- AH!” He squealed as Iwaizumi choked him by the back of his shirt.

“Shut up. Is it time already?” He asked you with a completely different tone than the one he had used with Tooru. Were you perhaps-dating?! After you nodded, Iwaizumi invited you inside while he got changed. Tooru started at you with wide eyes before walking over to you.

“So....are you and lwa-Chan secretly dating?!” He said as he got closer, with a wide grin on his face. You had known he was a character but he was really something right now.

“No?! Not at all actually I- I’m new? To Japan, I’ve been here for a few months and he’s been helping me figure out where everything is in this neighborhood.” You quickly explained hoping he would back up at least a little bit. It was as if he heard you and backed up.

“Oh- so what’s your name then pretty lady?” He said grinning. You were a little flustered and brushed it off to tell him. “That’s a beautiful name. Where you from then? If you’re new?” He asked and you explained you were from Mexico.

“Wow! I know a few words in Spanish!” He said as he recited the most basic words you had ever heard and somehow still goofed up the pronunciation. But he seemed so proud you almost couldn’t tell him he was wrong. But you did.

You became the manager because you seemed to be one of the only people Oikawa would listen to, because Iwaizumi listened to you. It was a cycle.

Once the team met you it was like love- at first sight~ You- this girl who has somehow made it so that people magically do what they’re supposed to do? Pls come immediately and shower these boys in affection.

They’re aggressively affectionate. Iwaizumi gives you headpats all the time for n o reason. None. We can all tell he favors you because even when you joke with Matsukawa about him and basically makes fun of you he’ll take it because your so nice.

You want a drink? Iwai will give you 10. Feeling a bit lonely? Matsukawa will give up his playful nature and give you a hug for as long as you’d like. Oikawa’s fangirls getting under your skin? Kunimi’s clearing that place out asap goodbye.

One time when the team was bumed out because they lost a match against Shiratorizawa, you made them all Horchatas and they were immediately like “...what is this ma’am” and you had to laugh, and they were all sitting so confused but smiling because your laugh was quite cute to them [loud or not] and you had to explain that it contained rice actually, as well as some nut milk and cinnamon [however you like them, they’d probably inhale it no matter what] and they enjoyed those things so much you brought them for every single last game until their last one.

One time, Kyotani actually asked if you could make him one for his birthday! He was so timid about it because he didn’t want to admit how much he liked it- but he was desperate. There was nothing worse than talking to people but you always seemed so nice to him, no matter how he reacted. So he asked. And you actually made him some as well as some Tacos de Papa that you had made the night before from Lunch. He graciously excepted and even listened as you explained how much you enjoyed making them because of the process and how you were happy he liked them. He even laughed and you two talked for a while that day.

Another time, you had been feeling homesick and you couldn’t take time off from the boys so you went to the practice anyways and everybody could visually tell you were out of it. You weren’t scolding them for misbehaving, and even let Kunimi leave early [he was going to leave either way] and in the end everybody was just worried. Who hurt you? Why were you so quiet? And WHERE were the drinks you had promised? A lot of questions were left unanswered because they immediately wanted to make you happier.

They decided they were just gonna talk to you. And they did. All of them- even Kyotani- sat and listened as you explained how you were feeling and it settled in for them that this is not your original home, and your family isn’t even here for you. It’s only natural you would get sad sometimes. So they forcefully sent Tooru off to get you a drink and all proceeded to abuse you with affection. It was hugs all over, people laying on your back, your legs, your side, everywhere. But you felt a bit better.

A new family is still a family. And these guys, were just that.
