✨Faeries ✨

Today we’ll be talking about Faeries! Also known as Fairies,  The Fae, The Fair Folk, The Honest Folk, The Little Folk, and many more. 

- What are faeries?: The answer to this differs between personal belief and cultures. What we do know is they are powerful, tricky, spirits found in nature. I personally like to think of them as nature spirits, having a specific connection to a place, like a river. Or a certain tree, plant, flower, element, ect. Each existing to protect or represent that thing, and be called on in its name. I also think faeries are specific extensions of the energies and correspondences surrounding the elements.  Where do I find them?:  As stated above, in nature! There are many different faeries, with different stories, associations, and things to offer. If there is nature, there are faeries.  Why should I work with them?: Let’s get this straight for those who are new, you do NOT have to work with or even believe in them to be a witch. That being said, Faeries can help as reconnect with nature, they can keep the nature that surrounds us safe too. For example helping and protecting a garden, they can help us in the way spells can too. They can help with luck, love, growth, happiness, just about anything you’d use a spell for. But don’t be fooled, faeries can also be tricksters. The majority of them are mischievous by nature. So beware, and stay safe. I’ll get into how to do that in a bit.  How do I work with them?:  Fae are similar to other spirits or Deities in that they have specialties, they can offer you help and advice. If you just want to keep on good terms with them or open up general communication and see where it goes you should go out into nature and leave an offering. Preferably near your house. If you want something specific, however, you should look into different kinds of Fae that are associated with that thing. To contact a specific fae, you could go somewhere that fae is associated with and leave an offering or do divination. You could meditate on the situation with them in mind. Summon them into a dream. It’s up to you and your practice.  Ways to honor them/offerings:  • Meditate and focus on them  • if you grown fruits and veggies, leave the last of it on the plant for them.  • Leave a bit of choice food like milk, bread, or wine out on the earth for them. They also like shiny things like jewelry, the finer things.  • Make an altar to them, especially to specific Fae.  • Leave a space near the fire for them.  Is there anything I shouldn’t do or be warned of?:  Yes! The Fae are mysterious creatures who can be easily offended. Here’s a list of do’s and don’ts when working with or communicating with The Fae.  DON’T be rude! Do not say anything disrespectful to the Fae, they consider themselves better than us and are more powerful and tricky than us. Often, much much older too. This also includes not snooping in a Faeries things or realm, not speaking of gifts or blessings they bring you, and not carrying iron with you or near them (it hurts them and WILL be seen as insulting or an attack.) And absolutely do not lie!  Always keep promises. This goes with the last tip, don’t lie to them and if you don’t keep a promise or deal the debt WILL be repaid either by your own hand, or perhaps less favorably by theirs. Do not accept a gift, say sorry, or thank you.  Once more on the topics of debts, doing any of these things implies you have a debt to them and you don’t want to find yourself in that situation.  Do not give them your name.  This gives them power over you. Instead say “You may call me ___.” Perhaps give them a nickname of yours.  Do not mention a child, especially an infant! The Fae love children but they may switch the child with a changeling or cause misfortune for the child if you anger them, do not risk it!  Do not dance with them or accept food or drink.  In folklore and stories this ends with dancing till death, or being forever tied to the Fae’s realm.  Mind your words.  The Fae are masters of trickery, they’re mischievous by nature. The Fae tend to take things literally, like genies in movies. You might not break any of these rules, yet they’ll still mess up what you ask for or wish for. Choose your wording VERY carefully, especially when asking for help.  How can I learn more?:  I would highly recommend The Fairy Bible by Teresa Moorey. She goes over just about anything and everything you’d want to know relating to Faeries. Sometimes I imagine powerful magical light coming from my hands like the one shown above just to make myself feel stronger to demand for protection. Lols but it works for me okay!

DEMAND IT. Like you are the king/queen of the throne. You have the power. That person/energy is just an invader. DEMAND IT to get it removed from your palace.

Think about what you are possessive of. Feel the anger when that thing is being intruded. Now direct that anger towards commanding the Universe of your protection.

Use black candles to set these intentions. Speaks these affirmations while they are burning.

Visualize blinding white light or golden light covering all over you. Make it as thick as possible. Imagine that nothing can pass over that light without your permission. You are in control of that.

Visualize the person or people who is draining you or you are suspicious of.( dosen't matter if you know them or not) Visualize their energies on the other side of your light and the fact that as hard as they may try ir as many people try, they just can't pass their negative energies or anything towards you. It just simply gets deflected over back to them.

Visualize that the more you deflect back their energies, the more your power increases.

Nature is your best friend. Ground yourself and connect with nature. Even if it is just a plant go there. Talk to them even! Pray to Mother Gaia for protection. 🍃

Ask your spirit animals, guides and ancestors *in short protectors* to be close. A confirmation of that could be seeing 444. But still if you are in doubt, tell your certain signs, numbers, symbols to your protectors to show to you as confirmation.

Keep a garlic clove with you.

Use a labrodorite or an amethyst for protection from psychic attacks. But also for general protection and you feel calm.

Use black crystals : black obsidian, black tourmaline.

Also use a Selenite or a Malachite.

Use salt. Keep a small bottle of it around you. Take a salt bath. Imagine all the negative energies, worries and anxieties leaving off your body towards the drain.

Spend time under Moonlight. Talk to the moon. Ask for protection from Lunar energy. Feel the love♡.

Search the Apana Mudra which is easy and practice that for 10 minutes daily.

Hi Hannah, do you also know your identity in the other realm?

Which other realm?

There’s an infinite number of realms and an infinite number of realities that we are each living in simultaneously lol.

I know my identity in a few of them and I know what my light body looks like. Is there a specific realm in particular you were curious about?

I've been trying to write about my experience with Hades for at least 5 times, but, somehow, I cannot fully explain it yet, so I'll keep it to myself for now. However, I can share what I have learned in the 3 weeks since I was called to make a connection with him.

Hades

He is nothing as I've imagined.

He makes me feel protected, accepted and he constantly appears in my dreams giving me the best hugs.

Now, what I want to say about my experience so far with a deity is:

1. What other witches experience with the same deity, is their own experience. Some might have similar experiences, but, if you don't that doesn't means you're on the wrong way. So, do your research, but don't expect it to happen to you as it did to others. It's ok, you got this.

2. A deity sees and knows what you need and want, and if they accept you, they will make their presence known to you in a way that you will understand.

3. The way you choose/ get chosen, connect, communicate, worship, pray, learn, feel your deity depends solely on you, your background, your beliefs, and from what you have to learn from them.

4. Be honest with them, however your communication ways are (some prefer friendly talk, others use prayers to convey messages). Just be honest.

5. Be patient. A deity might know better when and what should be happen as per what your request/target was. Also, a deity might not understand why you need something at a certain moment, so make sure you ask for reasons and give enough information to get a certain situation to the result that is best.

6. Listen to your intuition, the signs, the dreams, the recurring words or numbers, the feelings and emotions, the thoughts. Be aware that deities send us vital signs in different ways just because, for example, they know/we asked that we need to develop a sense.

7. Create a connection and a relationship with a deity in a way that makes you, at the same time, feel comfortable and open to the best way of communicating with them.
