Do you have any book recommendations to learn more about roman paganism and roman festivals? I'm interestes as a neo-pagan witch expanding and changing their craft. This is where my inspiration led me but I struggle to find sources.
Roman books and writings, mostly. That's the most authentic you can get with Roman polytheism & festivals. No one knows their own religion better than the people who practiced it but you have to vibecheck them for political agenda because a lot of these writers lived under tyrannical rule.
Cicero, Livy, Varro, Virgil (with caution), Ovid (double checking), Plautus, Horace, Tibullus, etc. I recommend looking through NovaRoma, Perseus.edu, or Penelope.edu for original Latin texts. Latin Library works too but it usually doesn't have translations.
Some books that aren't Ancient but have decent information:
A Dictionary of Greek and Roman biography and mythology
Roman religion in Livy
Malevolent Gods and Promethean Birds: Contesting Augury in Augustus's Rome
Omens and Augury in Plautus
A Dictionary of Greek and Roman Antiquities
The Roman Festivals of the Period of the Republic
A Companion to Families in the Greek and Roman Worlds
I have PDFs/links to all of these sources, so if you can't find something, just ask me.
Hope it helped!
Hannah Im experiencing a lot of deja vu. I know it is primarly a brain phenomena but in my case it feels like Im approching smthg in my life like Im getting closer, do you get me ? I hope youre doing well 👽💜
increased deja vu is a sign of quantum leaping. you’re about to switch timelines by cutting old ones. It’s very important for you to observe and soak up all these yummy energies while you can. Focus on what makes you feel light, focus on what makes you happy. Do not let yourself fall back into old habits or reminisce on the past. Be grateful for the lessons you’ve learned, but know that you are better off where you are now. Know that you are always where you’re meant to be. Listen to your body. Drink lots of water (coconut water is really really helpful), eat what you’re hungry for when you’re hungry for it, pee when you have to pee. Do what you feel like doing when you feel like doing it. Spend lots of time in the sun with the intention of soaking up it’s light codes. Sleep when you’re tired. Daydream about things that bring you joy and make you feel bubbly. Know that you are magic. Know that you are worthy of everything good. Be open to receiving expected and unexpected blessings. Be open to receiving and implementing these new things all at once.

Has your energy been low lately? Try this simple spell.
Cleanse your space and yourself then light a white candle.
Say this chant out loud:
Blow out your candle and repeat anytime you feel a loss of power, motivation or feel weak.
when you decide creation is finished, IT. IS. FINISHED. it is finished. there is absolutely nothing for you to worry about, it’s all taken care of. it’s already all worked out the way you intended it to.
intuition and anxiety are two very different things. don’t let your anxiety fuck with you and what you know to be true.
techniques can be so beneficial in helping you remain in your desired state but they don’t manifest for you and you don’t need them. you can literally just affirm to get what you want. or just use techniques to get what you want. you don’t need to be sticking to a routine that involves hours of repeating affirmations and five different techniques morning and night. but again, if you want to do that go for it. it’s literally up to you, no stress.
you don’t have to take on board every piece of advice you see from manifestation content creators and coaches, just adopt and apply what feels good to you. this post could be complete bullshit for you and motivating to someone else, it just depends and that’s okay.
you can change your past, present and future with loa. so that’s kinda sick. don’t underestimate the law. or yourself.
getting in your head is likely to ruin your actual manifestation process and in my experience, slow it down and complicate it; that’s not too much of a problem but stop overthinking, simplify life, have a good time, it’s literally all we’re here for. what’s the point in getting your desire if you were miserable the whole time?
your mindset on life is likely to change a lot during the process of learning about and applying loa. embrace it, let it happen, don’t let it intimidate you.
with manifestation, you will always come out on top.
don’t limit yourself, let it happen.

They take a historical (traditional) approach to their practice and often will study their ancestors or other folklore attached to witchcraft. Traditional witches want to honor the “old” ways of practicing their craft, and will often focus on working with the local history and spirits of where they are or where they’ve come from. While these witches do old history and customs in high regard, there are absolutely contemporary traditional witches practicing today.

The reason visualization is so powerful is because as you create pictures in your mind of seeing yourself with what it is you want, you are generating thoughts and feelings of having it now. Visualization is simply powerfully focused thought in pictures, and it causes equally powerful feelings.
Rhonda Byrne
Hi! I'm having a spiritual problem as of late. I'm not sure why but my connection to Apollo feels off. Idk if it's just me. I've thought that maybe he's told me it's ok a few times, but I still feel like I can't connect with him like I used to. It's making me sad because I really enjoy having him in my life and I'm afraid that it might be because I'm doing something wrong or I'm upsetting him somehow. Do you have any advice on this or have you experienced something similar? I've also been going to my outside altar and giving him incense and stuff. I'm just not sure what the problem could be.
honestly i haven’t had any experiences like this but sometimes deities need space, just like us humans do.
i’m sure you didn’t do anything wrong, sometimes deities just need some time to themselves.
i’d say give it some time and if things don’t go back to normal for you, that might be a sign that apollo feels it’s time for you to part ways. don’t take it personal, deities don’t always stick around us for a long time, sometimes they’re just here to teach us a lesson then move on!
Whatever you habitually think yourself to be, that you are. You must form, now, a greater and better habit; you must form a conception of yourself as a being of limitless power, and habitually think that you are that being. It is the habitual, not the periodical thought that decides your destiny.
