he’d spot you in the library on a day out from st ignatius with your head buried in a book and would have to lower his head in his own book to hide the blush

then he’d notice the glimmer in your eyes scanning the history section from a-z and his legs would force himself towards you until you were face to face, and he was left with no choice but to introduce himself to you

you guys would spend a lot of time safe inside his bunker, often doing your own things but still enjoying each others company

when he thinks you aren’t looking he’d set down his work and just watch and marvel at you, subconsciously mirroring your facial expressions as you write and act out the novel you’re writing

he’d love that he doesn’t need to be outrageous or entertaining for you, the two of you so content just being in each others company

but he’d love seeing you on too, talking and laughing and socialising. i don’t think he’d join in much, but he’d love seeing your bright smile as you did

and he’d definitely support your dreams of becoming an author or a lawyer, checking in every so often about your thoughts, your plans, wanting to support you and motivate you every step of the way, so the world can see your genius and beauty the way he does

Ladies and Gents, I’d like to introduce: Mar’i Grayson ✨💜. Pretty sure you guys already know about her, but for the people who don’t; she is (canonically) Starfire and Robin’s (from the Teen Titans) future child.

I’m pretty sure you guys noticed how ‘different’ Rae-Rae looks here, and that’s because she is from the Earth that Mar’i was born in. Unfortunate events occurred back in their own home, and has lead to Raven bringing Mar’i to a ‘safer’ place. It is similar to theirs but not quite the same. Because here; her parents are only college students. (You’ll learn more about that in the future updates) Now that these two unexpected guests have arrived, what are the heroes of this Earth going to do about it?

I hope you guys liked it. The series of illustrations pertaining to this story arc will be posted accordingly after my short break, as will a few other “off the script” scenes 😉 so you can look forward to that. Oh! And more importantly — I need help with deciding what the title is gonna be. If you guys have any suggestions, please leave them in the comments below.
