Birth rates are down but it’s not a “people aren’t banging oh no great replacement” it’s just that no one can afford kids. People especially young people say they want kids by every poll we have but they say it’s not financially viable. It’s actually conservatives making the low birth rates by making life so hard and so expensive that we can’t settle down in a small apartment or something and have a life.

Raise wages, cap rent costs, improve public social spaces and make it viable to have kids and we will have another baby boom generation and a thriving economy again. But that means denying billionaires and millionaires a fifth yacht and another ten million bonus per year so that ain’t happening unless we go the French route and cut off heads.
