This was the one year anniversary of the date when your best friends wife had left him, so to take his mind off how much he missed her, you and your wife took him camping with you, and your wife – who is very thoughtful about these things – decided to make sure he wasn’t alone in his tent at night.  And now that they’ve spend one night together – and are planning to stay together for the rest of the week – your wife has made it clear to you that you’re sort of a “third wheel” and it would be better if you weren’t around so that they could be more comfortable being close and intimate with each other.
