The Act : You should never skip an episode let alone an entire arc in One Piece even if it's filler.

Reason : Zoro taught Luffy how to skate in Long Ring Long Land (equivalent of marriage).

At the beginning of Wano it’s kind of nice to see just Luffy and Zoro together for a little bit because normally the rest of the crew would be trying to calm them down but they’re just matching each other’s freak. It’s the best. They both get so exited to fight hawkins and then Zoro being appalled at Luffy using a sword is hilarious. I like that right before they start fighting hawkins guys they’re just arguing while the people trying to attack them look on in confusion. I love those idiots.

I also love this close up shot of Zoro’s earrings. It’s just nice.

Also. Man really said “captain, let me handle this” and proceeded to take his shirt off before a fight. Not only was he showing off for his captain but he was also being a whore about it.

I kind of show this in gifsets I made but I don't think I expressed, in words, how incredibly endearing I find it that live action Luffy is so very attentive when it comes to Zoro.

First time he sees Zoro and how he ate the rice ball off of the floor, he later thinks rice balls must be Zoro's favorite food (and he's even right lol). He also inevitably notices how much Zoro likes booze.

He remembers every single word Zoro said during their first conversation.

He may not care about what Nami wears but he sure was interested in what Zoro was gonna wear. And that same evening, he recommended Zoro the snacks he was eating which is just so... cute. He found smth good and immediately wants to share it with his beloved Zoro, basically.

But the possibly sweetest thing is that he remembers one line from Zoro which was enough to let him understand the importance of the Wado Ichomonji.

My boy Zoro didn't stand a chance, really. Like, of course he'd fall in love with this guy. Of course he would. They really did the best they could within just eight episodes to show the strength and importance of Zoro and Luffy's bond, and I cannot shut up about it T-T
