I started writing a book on Wattpad, and I was wondering if anyone would be interested if I posted it on here. I will update every Thursday (if I can) and this is what it is about. April Risin's home was destroyed by the king of Everstone Keep. She is the only survivor. No one escaped except for her, thanks to a Gift that she has. After a failed escape from her burning village, April is taken to Everstone Keep to be trained, in hopes she can use her gift. Little does she know, she is there for a much darker purpose than expected. And yes, this is a shitty description, but I suck at them.
Yeah
My brother said Hamilton is the most uncreative thing he’s ever heard and I wanna sCREAM
So, don't know if you have a wattpad, but that's currently where the first draft of my novel in progress, called Chasing Echoes. (If you do my Wattpad username is Asikaia_Blueblood) Thank you if you do check it out!
Hi if you’re in the process of writing a novel I want to follow you!!!

i want to love your characters! art, moodboards, playlists, or anything else i can think of!!
bonus if it’s fantasy, you have queer characters, or you just started brainstorming/outlining but TBH i will love anything you have and want to love your story regardless
My science teacher is pregnant, I wonder what she'll name her baby. Better not be Maeve
My science teacher’s sister had a baby, and they named her Maeve.
I half screamed in my seat.

Test your knowledge… (spoilers, obvs)
I Just started Cinder by Marissa Mayer, and its good so far!
What’s everyone currently reading? Do you like it? Hate it? Want to throw the book throughout the nearest window?
Foxes are so goddamn cute
a post where I explain with images how foxes are the best thing ever, and how if you disagree you are obviously wrong
I'm also learning Spanish, and Duolingo is free forever, you can learn many languages and you can challenge friends. I personally really like Duolingo.
Ok so I hate to ask on this blog because I try to keep it entirely SJMaas related, but can anyone suggest some resources for learning Spanish (either online, study techniques, etc.)? I’m taking Spanish as a general ed class at my university and I could really use some extra help. What has worked well in your experience? Thanks, everyone!
I'm still trying to comprehend everything in the book. Just. Wow.
The ending of Empire of Storms hit me so hard. I never thought that after ACOMAF I could be that shocked by an ending ever again. I should’ve know Sarah would raise the bar and prove me wrong. Well played Sarah. Well played.
I stayed quiet when I learned his name, but in my head I was screaming!
and my little sister got sick the other day and she looks like a zombie I kid you not. So we can’t take her to the film but she wants to go cuz it’s the cinema with the lounge chairs and I swear if she goes she’ll fall asleep before it even starts
Hello! I'm Asikaia! I love reading, playing video games, drawing and writing. My favorite books (if you haven't guessed by looking at my blog) are any Sarah J. Maas books, and many many more, my all-time favorite video game has to belong to Skyrim (although Horizon: Zero Dawn is really close). If you want to find out more about me, I have a Wattpad under the same name, where you can also find my stories! And, if you haven't guessed, my favorite artist is Halsey.
