Honestly same
not my dumbass tired out of my mind n imagining silver cuddling me as I slowly melt away into my bed
Today I saw certain (I hope younger) fandom members doing a thing on twitter where they called out fandom-famous fics and saying how bad they are.
And, no. We don't do that. We aren't rude to each other like that. If we don't like a fic we move on and find one we do like. We do not go slagging it off on twitter to make ourselves look cool.
Authors, artists, video editors, gif makers: all of these people give huge amounts of their time to provide you with content for free. They don't owe anyone anything, and being cruel about what anyone makes is below us as a fandom.
Hello, how are you today? Can you draw baby duke and his dad from Daria Cohen
I'm doing well thank you ^^! Do you mean this as a commission or a request? I am currently not doing requests. My commissions are open however and I'd be happy to draw this for you if that is the case :). Dm me if you are interested, have a good day/night!
Reblog the strawberry kitty for good luck!šš±

I think the one thing that most people tend to overlook in terms of the relationship between Silver and Jim is that Silver is perhaps the first person that sees Jim for him and recognises his worth and talent despite Jim's combative and guarded attitude.
I absolutely don't doubt that a large part of Jim's arc is him yearning for a father figure, but I also think that he generally craves a parental figure who sees him for who he is, skills and all. Sarah Hawkins outright admits that she no longer understands her own son, but who does?
Silver.
Silver sees past Jim's guarded self and helps nurture his very evident skills, validates him on more than one occasion and even displays very genuine pride in him, something that Jim truly craved and needed, something that helped Jim realise his self worth.
honestly⦠let yourself change your mind. F/O that character and then remove themĀ from your list a week later when youāveĀ focused on something new. add them again in a month if you miss them. write that you met them at a coffee shop and then change it to a blind date when you think you like that better. draw yourĀ first kiss 20 times. let it be different each time. your ship name can change depending on the day. so can your song. give your S/I every special ability and then decide you donāt like any of them. try out a dozen differentĀ facesĀ for your OC. thereās nothing wrong with changing your mind over and over and over again. self inserting isĀ for you. self shipping isĀ for you. creating OCs isĀ for you. try it all out and donāt get down on yourselfĀ for being indecisive. you donāt have to be decisive. you donāt owe it to anyone to be the same person you were a month ago, a week ago, a day ago, an hour ago, and your stories donāt have to be the same either. let your heart take you where it wants to go.
I want this...
Massive brainrot...
ā”ļø Content warnings on fiction are a courtesy.Ā
ā”ļø Not every medium of fiction and storytelling has or is expected to have content warnings or extensive tagging.
ā”ļø Print novels do not traditionally warn for content in any way.
ā”ļø Until AO3 came along, fanfiction did not traditionally warn for content in any significant way.
ā”ļø An author is only obligated to warn for content to the degree mandated by the format they publish their fiction on.
ā”ļø Content warnings beyond the minimum are a courtesy, not an obligation.
ā”ļø 'Creator chose not to warn' is a valid tag that authors are allowed to use on AO3. It means there could be anything in there and you have accepted the risk. 'May contain peanuts!'
ā”ļø Writers are allowed to use 'Creator chose not to warn' for any reason, including to maintain surprise and avoid spoilers.
ā”ļø 'Creator chose not to warn' is not the same thing as 'no archive warnings apply'.
ā”ļø It is your responsibility to protect yourself and close a book, or hit the back button if you find something in fiction that you're reading that upsets you.
ā”ļø You are responsible for protecting yourself from fiction that causes you discomfort.
