_________________________________________
You found yourself on the very same large rock at your islands beach, eyes looking over to the ocean. The mark in your wrist reminding you of the small ache in your heart. Your soulmate.
No night ever falls without your mind going to whoever out there in the world was meant for you. Someone who would choose you first. Someone who would love you unconditionally without the expected duty. You honestly didn't know how to explain what you felt.
"Penny for your thoughts, my lady?"A whisper broke you out if your thoughts, a small squeak barely escaping your lips before you felt yourself slipping from the rocks surface. The drop would be devastating had it not been for firm arms immediately wrapping themselves around your waist and pulling you flush against the one who intruded in your quiet time.
"My lady! I'm so sorry, he– I didn't see him pass throug–"
"It's alright Lyra. I'm alright." Your eyes went to your friend who seemed to have been thrown into panic, her rushed steps trying to balance in the rocks to try and reach you. Alas you were in the arms of the man you were promised to marry, Prince Cassius.
He let out a small huff of amusement as he picked you up bridal style and headed down the variously shaped rocks with waves crashing harshly against them. Soon Lyra, Cassius and you had landed safely on the dock, the prince placing you down.
"I apologize, princess. I wished to speak with you but I had been informed that you weren't in the castle."
You nodded, a look of curiosity at what he wanted to talk to you about.
"...then I asked your sister and brothers where you ought to be at this hour and they didn't know..."
"How did you find me here?"
He smiled," I have my ways, princess. Or should I refer to you as my beloved seeing as we are to wed in a month's time."
'A MONTH!'
"Pardon, a month you say?" The mark on your wrist felt like a rocks piling up on top of your body, held up by little hope.
"Exactly why I wanted to talk to you. My father spoke with the king and have agreed on a date at around this time next month.
You stayed silent. Looking up at his chestnut brown eyes, the unnoticeable freckles on his face. His sharp nose. 'My children might inherit that'
"I know this is a large step for you." His hands went to yours, fingers trailing over R.Z that's was etched onto your wrist by fate. His lip quirked down in unnoticeable displeasure at its sight. " I will do my best to love you as much as any soulmate would. Maybe even more."
His eyes locked onto yours longer than you were used to, his words were like a promise. One that wouldn't be broken. But promises are merely words used to appease fools. Maybe right now you would allow yourself to believe. What could possibly go wrong?

"Don't you wonder who your soulmate is?" Sanji said as he placed a cigarette to his lips. His eyes went to the uncovered mark on Zoro's wrist. The whole time he had gotten to know the swordsman he never heard much word about his soulmate. The matter shut down with a glare or met with silence.
Everyone present on deck almost held their breath. Robin , Nami, even Luffy.
"I have thought about them." Zoro answered, taking a sip of the bottle in his hands,"I've never stopped." And true to his word he never has.
The sun never rose without his mind wandering to the mark on his wrist. The one connection he had with the person who was truly meant for him.
All his life Zoro had been fighting. He fought in Shimotsuki Village, growing up. He fought in Shells Town before and after he met Luffy. Now he's in Skypeia and he's fought since since Enel had discovered them. Almost everyday he fights to fulfill his dream. To become the world's greatest swordsman.
But do dreams keep a man warm? Do dreams chase after him as much as he does?
He loves his crew, would die for them even. But what is this feeling of loneliness that lies deep within the pit of his stomach and cuts deeper that a sword against his skin.
He looked at the swirly haired cook, the bane of his existence.
"Then why don't you try to find them?!" Luffy yelled, his face staying in confusion. "They're somewhere out there aren't they?"
Nami slapped Luffy upside the head. "Don't be an idiot Luffy. The world's too big. He or she could be anywhy."
"Not to mention that anyone can have those initials." Robin added, paging through her book.
"And they could possibly be a marine, a rival pirate, a serial killer, an arsonist, a murderer and other very bad things." Chopper added as he came back from restocking the infirmary. He sat down beside Robin as she read.
"You guys really know how to cheer up a guy," Sanji said as he blew out a puff of smoke," Those are realistic expectations. But let's be positive for a second."
"Skip the positivity, I'd rather not sit around and wait to be swept off my feet. Life goes on. I'm sure wherever my soulmate is she's fine." Zoro took one last gulp of his drink. Washing down the sense of foreboding that plagued his senses

What are ur rules? Do you allow smut? Angst? Fluff? Dead dove? Child!reader? Baby!reader? Wife!reader?
To be honest I'd be willing to write anything. Angst, fluff. headcanons. You name it. Not sure about smut cause that takes a special art though. But if it came to a time where I wrote smut I wouldn't write non-consentual things only the mushy passionate stuff.
I dont mind requests since I need ideas anyway so feel free.

____________________________________
You sat in your room, not moving, hair uncared for, body aching. It has been a while since your wedding, but it felt fresh in your heart like it was yesterday. Mother, father, Kyro, Amav. Ophelia and Rhen were yet to be found and you hoped that they left the island. You doubted they'd be left alive if they were. Lyra must have taken them seeing as she wasn't around either thankfully. All your family's loyal servants had been executed days after the wedding, the remaining were pledged to Cassius and his family.
You scratched your wrist, the mark stinging. Not too long ago pain unimaginable to anyone in the kingdom had seered through it, leaving you screaming in absolute pain. It was so bad that you were taken to the doctor.
Everyday you were forced to play the role of the dutiful wife to your murderous husband. Disregarding the vengeful hate inside, you stood up, did the necessary tasks for hygiene and wore a black dress to honour your family's deaths.
"Ah, my darling wife!" Cassius said as he sat on the throne, dismissing advisors. Your eyes scanned every one of them as they passed you, bowing their heads to not look you in the eye. Ser Randall, Lord Alexander, Maester Caius and Lady Genevieve. All of them.
Traitors.
You could guess that the kingdom didn't know of his heinous actions. Or maybe they did know, the executioners block has been used more times lately than in the past twenty years so you figured people wanted to keep their lives and not question the sudden trajedy.
"Your grace," You curtsied, wiping off the look of disgust you had given to the royal advisors.
"Lovely day isn't it? The second month that marks our marriage." He stood up, taking your hand and walking you outside the throne room into the open hallways of the castle. There was a brilliant view of the citadel from up there. The both of you leaned against the railing.
He looked at you, sparkling eyes like a lovesick puppy. "Have I ever told you how beautiful you look?"
"You always tell me that." You internally rolled your eyes, picking at you dress.
"Then I'll say it even more. You look beautiful."
The both of you looked at the view in front from the high balcony you had traveled to. Guards stood on both of your sides a distance away. You looked down, over the bannister. It would be an alarming drop, leaving no room for life. Your eyes went to Cassius who was enjoying the view , his arms crossed and a smile on his face.
Just on push, a strong one. Enough to end this nightmare. To save yourself from any more harm that would come to you.
"I bet our children will love this kingdom. Or maybe the other ones my family has ruled over. Did you know that our families have history?"
"No ,your grace." At the mention of children you nearly choked on your own disgust. It was a wonder how he hadn't bedded you already and you were grateful for that. Apparently their customs were different. They could be as cruel as they wanted to their subjects and enemies but never went to the level of sexual assault.
"Your grandfather had taken over our kingdom fify years ago. His men took all our women as wives. Our men were brutally murdered. The children were forced to become strangers in their own country, serving under his rule. Now here we are. I'm not as cruel as your grandfather. I've spoken with my advisors. I have been merciful."
"You call what you did merciful?" The anger within had flared up, forgetful of how calm you were supposed to act.
" It would have been worse, darling. I would have had every man and son slaughtered and give the women and girls over to cruel men. Maybe sell you to slavery or force you to work in my home country's pleasure houses."
Your eyes widened at the extent he was willing to go. Now the drop seemed more of an option for a willing princess. No, a willing queen. But you wanted to live long enough to kill the man who held your hand with deceptive love.
"You absolute psy–
–cho.
"Your majesty!" A soldier ran in, "There's protests taking place all over the citadel. Near the monuments." Cassius rolled his eyes, letting out a sigh.
"Just kill them and get over with it."
The soldier shook on the spot at Cassius' words."But mi'lord, they're you're people ."
Cassius raised an eyebrow,"And?"
Your eyes widened. "Those are lives, Cassius. people with families. Have mercy, please."
"They should have thought of their families before deciding to go against my rule." He grabbed a drink from the jugs placed near where the two of you stood." Infact, if you care so much you should go through the same thing they have to."
"What?" You furrowed your eyes in confusion, a hint of fear in your tone. He turned to you, the spark in his eyes dulled a tiny bit. There was a hint of something crazy in them there.
"Round up the protesters and have them whipped. Thirty lashes, or until they beg for death. I don't care., make it entertaining"
The soldier nodded , getting ready to walk away before being stopped by Cassius' hand. "After you're done with them, give the queen ten lashes. Since she loves her people so much."
Before you could respond, the guards who stood beside the both of you grabbed you roughly by the arms, dragging you somewhere you didn't know.
"NO! PLEASE, CASSIUS!"
Cassius waved at you as you were dragged away, taking a sip of his drink once more before throwing it over the balcony.
"I have a little surprise for you, my love!" He yelled in the distance
As you were lead down the halls towards the large doors of the place you once called home your ears heard the sound of screaming a bit far off. The castle wasn't too far from the markets and it was clear that they were either beimg caught like cattle there.
Another soldier appeared, placing a sack over your head.

The Thousand Sunny sailed toward the next island on the logpose, a bright smile on Nami's face. "Looks like we're in luck, the kingdom of Rhysa. Known for its beautiful views, spas and lovely people."
"They're also known for the benevolent royal family that they have. Independent from pirate territories since they have a strong military." Robin added as she got ready to explore the island. A buzz of energy floated around the Strawhats. After having fought with the government, a few warlords and a few marine ships they needed a place to rest and recuperate.
"We could get alot of food too." Luffy said, mouth watering at the thought. His trademark hat atop his head.
Franky put on his sunglasses,"Some more cola for the ship too."
"All in all, we need to restock on a lot of things." Sanji got out of the kitchen, looking around for someone. His eyes went over his crewmates on deck; Robin, Nami, Luffy, Franky, Brook, Chopper and Ussop.
"Where's Mosshead?"
Everyone went quiet for a moment, looking to the side to find Zoro sitting cross-legged on the railing, looking at the distant island they were about to drop anchor at.
There was a small silence, filled with understanding at what might have their swordsman in such a mood.
"STOP BROODING, YOU IDIOT!" Sanji aimed to kick Zoro to get his attention. Zoro blocked Sanji's kick with one of his swords , not moving an inch from his spot.
"Something doesn't feel right."

The mumurs of distaste coming rom the crowd was the first thing you heard after being hauled over to God knows where. The sound of pained screams made your heart rench, whips coming into contacting with s sensative skin. You grit your teeth. There were countless numbers of men, women and even children.
That sick bastard
The guard pushed you forward, closer to the pained cries. Closer to your upcoming doom. You knew the execution stands alll too well. Father made sure all his children knew that though it was unsavory it was necessary to provide justice.
There were high stands where royalty sat and watched executions Be it hanging, beheading or firing squad. A large raised platform was situatdd in the middle of the
It was a known saying, that the scars on a swordsman's back were a swordsman's shame. Same would go for a royal, a princess. Scars would mean they were a terrible leader or did a terrible deed. Whips were for criminals, murderers, those who force themselves on others, not for innocents.
The sack around your head was harshly removed and you had to adjust your eyes from the sun's glare.
The crowd seemed to have gone silent for one...two...
"NOOOOO!"
"LET HER GO!!!
"PRINCESS!!!!"
"YOUR MAJESTY!!!"
"MY QUEEN!!!!"
"DON'T DO THIS!!!"
The crowd was trying to push past the soldiers who stood across the raised platform, wanting to free the only living daughter they knew of from their late king whom they loved. Feet scuffling against the sandy pavements caused some dust to pick up and before the people knew it the soldiers free their swords to ward them off. Some getting injured in the frey.
Cassius sat at the stands high above, watching as you were placed beside the many victims. He wasn't the only one watching. All of the Council sat there, watching. Not making a move to help the girl they had seen grown up amongst them in the palace halls.
Your eyes met with his, filled with seething hatred but all they were met with a satisfied smirk, lips drinking in a cup of whine as if it were a mere show.
If your hands werent tied you could have flipped him off.
Soon you were placed beside the line of victims being whipped, your heard thudding at the prospect of the pain. You had seen the backs of those who were whipped a few minutes before you. Bloody and beginners to bruise and every cry they let out struck a chord in your heart.
Rough hands held you down as a dagger was brought too closer for comfort to your neck, the man holding it gave you a sinister smile, a few of his teeth were missing and most of them were rotting. One eye seemed to be of glass.
'Oh God'
They had brought the most sadistic executioner back, rehiring him especially for you. Kerwin the Cruel.
The dagger ripped through the back of your dress with ease, exposing it for the whole crowd to see. The crowd was starting to get a bit more frantic but with the soldiers holding them off with sharp blades and no mercy they realised you were doomed from the start.
You tried to keep the dress together to atleast keep your front covered, the sound of his boots carrying him till he grabbed his whip resounded in my ears. Kerwin was known for his tastes in torture, carrying a whip made of kangaroo hide with pieces of metal layered inside it. There was no way of surviving this. He once killed a man as large as a mountain with that thing.
"NOOO!!"
"PRINCESS!"
"OUR QUEEN!"
"GET ON WITH IT ALREADY." Cassius ordered, an impatient look on his face. All of the council sat beside him. Some looking away and others watching with bated breath.
"Do me a favour princess," Kerwin chuckled as he reared back his arm and flicking the whip into the air. It sounded like thunder across a metal roof. "Scream for me."
____________________________________
Zoro felt it before he heard her.
Everyone had gone offboard to look for prospective places to go shopping. He was fortunate enough to look for a restaurant with Luffy.
Only, everywhere they went, it was empty, the shops not even closed properly.
They stopped at a restaurant, it's sign having dark blue cursive words , " Zinhle's Diner"
"Where'd everybody go?" Luffy said, looking around before taking one of the plates and eating the chicken curry on it. It was still warm.
"Why would people leave everything like that?" Zoro asked aloud as he grabbed a bottle and popped it open to quench his thirst.
"I don't know, but more food for me!" Luffy said with a large smile as he started eating everything at arms length.
Zoro caught sight of a woman running towards past the place, her hair in disarray, her eyes watering.
"What's up with you?!"
She continued to run until Luffy wrapped a rubbery arm around her and yanking her back.
"Let me go! Please!"
"Relax lady, we're not gonna hurt you." Luffy reassured, his face going blank as he tried to think of why the woman was crying.
"Please, I must get to her. I must save mi'lady." She said, and now that her words were more clear Zoro eyes the sword at her him.
"Can you even use that?"
She went silent for a second, making it clear she couldn't with her lack of response.
"I need to go. SHE NEEDS ME!"
"Listen, I need to to exp– Zoro felt his unimaginable pain on his back. Hefelt his body betray him as he fell to the ground. He's back, usually unscarred and untouched by a single weapon or hand felt a seering pain. He held in the painful groan.
"ZORO?!" Luffy let go of the woman to help his swordsman friend, the lady running back onto the path, a determined look on her face.
"I'm fine Luffy, I'm –
And that's when he heard her. He felt his heart stop.
aaaAAAAAHHHHHH!
Luffy's froze at the scream. The air stilled as Zoro picked himself up, a look worthy to scare demons away etched on his face. He felt the brunt of the second hit more harshly than the first. His senses going into hyper drive as he practically flew in the same direction that the other woman had gone.

Nami and Ussop had come across the roaring crowds blocking the streets. The soldiers holding shields and drawn swords to cut down any more protesters.
"What's going on here?" Nami said, turning to look at her bestie who was carrying almost all her bags with hundred of complaints being delivered out his lips.
Upahead they saw about a hundred men, women and children on a stage, their backs bloody, and the soldiers hitting them rearing back to inflict more pain. Nami pulled out her staff, getting ready to fight. Ussop placed the bags down, pulling out Kabuto, his larger slingshot.
____________________________________
You closed your eyes in pain as the third hit made impact with your back.
Cassius amused laugh barely registered into your mind as you could hear Kerwin rearing back his arm for another hit.
The crowds were now running towards the armed soldiers, not caring for the swords.
"PRINCESSS!"
'Lyra?' you felt your body recoil as the air hit against your now sensitive back.
You looked up to the stands where Cassius sat, clapping his hands. Where every one of them was looking.
Ser Randall, Lord Alexander, Maester Caius, Lady Genevieve. Cassius.
You heard the man ready to whip you for the fourth time let out a joyful cackle.
Kerwin.
I'll kill you all for this
The air went still, heavy pressure knocking down the other soldiers. Kerwins whip was a second away from making the fourth hit. Your eyes closed, bracing for the next hit that was yet to marry your body for life.
But it never came. Only Kerwin's bloodcurdling scream.
"AAAARRGGHHHH!"
A tall figure stood infront behind you, gold earrings gleaming in the blazing sun light.
Kerwin's arm lay limp metres away from your spot, still holding onto the whip. Kerwin rolled onto the floor in agony, his body trying to adjust to the sudden loss of his limb.
"Lay your hands on her again and I'll cut off the other." Threatened as his stormy grey eyes met with Cassius shocked ones.
I looked up to see what was happening, my eyes widening at the green haired man infront of me, one of his swords drawn and his stance ready to cut down anyone who came near.
Who?
And the dark markings on his wrist visible. There in black cursive ink were your initials. They began to glow to an almost liquid gold.
"AND WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?!" Cassius sneered. All of the council began to stand, getting ready to fight the new threat.
A man in a strawhat sprung up to stand beside the swordsman, a woman with long orange hair and a lomg-nosed man hopped onto the stairs of the stage. The smell of smoke invaded your nostrils and soon enough a blond man with a curly eyebrow took off his jacket and carefully placed it on you to make you warm.
The green haired man gave Cassius a daring look, his sword glinting with his every move with the threat of death.
"Who do you think I am...The names Roronoa Zoro..."
Cassius went silent
"Her soulmate."
TO BE CONTINUED...

Some thoughts of our favourite cook with a friend just like him.
_________________________________________
"Hey Sanji~" (Y/n) said with a sing song voice. Both Strawhats stood side by side as they watched the ship decend even further underwater. The coating keeping everyone safe from being crushed by the pressure.
(Y/n) made sure to wear clothes that didn't reveal too much, opting to stay warm just as Robin had warned. Plus she didn't need her friend having a nosebleed.
"Where were you during the two years?" She asked, " You never told me."
Sanji looked traumatized. He held onto his chest to stop his heart from stopping at the horror-filled memories.
"I was in hell. Every second there was..." The poor man couldn't even finish his sentences. His face had gone deathly pale.
"WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO YOU?" She asked. Concerned at what he had gone through.
🥘🔎🥘🔎🥘🔎🥘🔎🥘🔎🥘🔎🥘🔎🥘🔎
( Y/n ) watched as Sanji dived towards all the mermaids. She was honestly asking herself how she was friend with that pervert.
"Sometimes I really wanna know why me and that idiot over there are friends. Doesn't he have class?" She shook her head at his actions.
"Don't act all goody two shoes, you're both cut from the same cloth." Ussop judged the woman. His eyes squinted accusingly.
"HOW?!" (Y/n) reacted, shark shaped teeth bared. She was prepared to argue her case like a lawyer.
"Just a few minutes ago when we met up at Sabaody. Don't you remember?"
Flashback
"Looks like we're all finally here." (Y/n) said to herself. Making sure to take count of everyone. She sat down and watched as the ship started going underwater. She could hear an argument between Zoro and Sanji.
"Just admit that you're outmatched number seven." Zoro smirked.
"Just because you got here first doesn't mean you're better than everybody!" Sanji yelled back, annoyed.
"I don't need to be better than everybody, just better than you."
'Oooohhhhhh. Sanji can't recover from that one. But I can. '
Just before (Y/n) could go rescue her friend, she took a good look at Zoro. He seemed to have gotten taller and a lot more stronger in the last two years and that outfit change made wonders.
(Y/n)'s eyes turned to hearts. Ussop was able to catch this transformation live. His eyes widening at the speed.
"ZOROOOOOOOO~" She began, twirling toward the swordsman. Sanji's cigarette dropped of its own accord. The love tornado nearing in their direction looked dangerous.
"Huh?" Zoro caught sight of the approaching tornado. Well, sh*t.
Unbeknownst to them Nami had tapped Robin's shoulder so they could see the event about to take place.
The tornado caught Sanji and threw him to the side gently before slowing to a stop.
A rose was held up to Zoro as (Y/n) kneeled with one knee on the ground. Flowers had magically appeared around the Sunny and sparkles shone around the woman's eyes.
"Roronoa Zoro, you look as gorgeous as ever," she began. " No man in the world could be as handsome as you. The heavens took their time to carefully craft you and believe me, I adore the results."
Sanji's mouth fell to the floor from where he had graciously landed. He couldn't believe the betrayal.
"Get away from me, woman!" Zoro yelled but he didn't seem to shoo her away. Instead his cheeks had lightly dusted with some light pink. He averted his eyes grumbling to himself.
"You don't seem to want me to go away though," she smirked at him leaning forward till their noses nearly touched. She was on her tippy toes. Her index finger and thumb kept his head in place so he couldn't escape.
Zoro froze in shock. This woman will be the death of me.
Sanji tornadoed towards the two and stole (Y/n) away leaving Zoro discombobulated and slightly flustered. Even after two years of everyone not seeing each other, the woman still managed to have an effect on him.
Flashback over
"That was one time!" She tried to defend herself.
"Oh really, some of the things you say and do are more questionable that what Sanji does." Ussop continued.
"Like?" The woman crossed her arms, waiting for the sniper's explanation.
FLASHBACK
"If those guys weren't trying to hurt Big sis Robin, I woulda said smash."
Everyone at the train looked at her in shock. She was just looking outside and watching the perilous waves of Aqua Laguna with a dejected sigh.It seemed she was voicing her thoughts out loud.
When she caught their eyes on her she shrugged,"What? Just saying it like it is. But if they do hurt Robin I'm ready to up my kill count."
Another time
"Where did you get all those ropes Paulie," (Y/n) questioned the man. Everyone in the sea train was busy with their own thing but some were wondering the same thing. "It's kinda creepy."
"Well I–" he tried to defend himself but was interrupted.
"Creepy, but kinky."😏
Zoro pulled the woman away from Paulie and trapped her between his arms and placing her on his lap, effectively stopping her from talking. 'No.'
"SHE'S SO BOLD!" Both the Galley La and Franky Family yelled.
Nami smiled to herself. Ussop owed her a lot of money.
(The bet was how long she could go without saying something risky)
Another time
(Y/n) watched as Zoro brought Chopper back from nearly being eaten by sky sharks."Chopper are you alright?" For once the woman wasn't being a tornado, her eyes showed the worry for her reindeer friend.
"He'll be alright." Zoro stated. He took of his t-shirt. And went to find a new one.
He took of the shirt?!
He took it off.
(Y/n) froze. A war raged between her heart and mind. Turn around to look or have some decency and not look. She started sweating. Nami caught sight of her unusual posture and shook her which ended up making (Y/n) have a glimpse of Zoro changing into a blue vest in her peripheral.
"(Y/n) what's wrong, are you alright?"
The woman fainted. Well, not exactly. She was still awake but had hearts flying around her and her face was super warm.
"I think Ms Spy is a little too excited from seeing our swordsman here. " Robin diagnosed. A chuckle escaping her lips.
"Seriously you and that ero-cook are just unbelievable." Zoro sighed in annoyance.
"But what's that red colour on your fac3?" Chopper pointed out, basically snitching on Zoro.
Another time
"Guys this is my brother Ace." Luffy announced.
"Ace here's my crew. Nami's the navigator, Zoro's the swordsman and also my firstmate, Chopper's the doctor , Sanji is the cook and (Y/n) is the spy."
Ace had taken a look at every one before meeting eyes with (Y/n). It seemed that Sanji had already placed tape on her mouth and had tied her up. All that anyone could see was the woman's heart shaped eyes.
Everyone breathed out a sigh of relief much to Ace's confusion and Zoro's irritation.
Flashback over
"In short, that's why you two are best friends."Ussop concluded, pointer finger in the air and a whiteboard behind with various drawings of the scenes . "Plus you two are great at combat when paired."
(Y/n) was walking away from Ussops lesson. "WHERE ARE YOU GOING?"
"I'm gonna find Zoro,"
"With what?"
"MY LOVE COMPASS OF COURSE!" The woman said as she twirled away with hearts revolving around her.Ussop sighed at her antics.
"ZORO-SWEET! WHERE ARE YOU?!"
He was intriguing. That was a word you could describe Trafalgar Law as. With his expression hidden behind that hat and his seemingly elaborate plans, there's no question he is.
At first when you had met him in the bustling groves of the Sabaody Archipelago you wouldnt have guessed he would become an ally.
The crew had split up, exploring the place known to be a stop for both pirates and nobles alike. You had ended up exploring the market for something new to wear, this time with your own money instead of borrowed money from Nami that lead to a perilous amount of interest.
Little did you know that you were as famous as your bounty poster suggested, bumping into crews that not only knew your friends but also you too.
First impressions matter, no matter where you are and who you're dealing with and the first thing you said when your gaze fell on him there was certainly a lasting impression.
The dark circles, the goatee, the large hat and especially the jeans.
The Surgeon of Death
"You look like a backalley doctor."
Not only did he look shocked, but also offended. Mainly because his own crew were hiding their guffaws horribly, seeing the vision of what you meant.
This was before everything had gone haywire and crews were forced to claw their way out of the doors of death from which Admiral Kizaru and the Pacifistas had the keys to.
Now sitting on the chair beside Luffy in the hospital room aboard the Polar Tang, having flashes of the war playing through your mind left you unaware of the footsteps approaching. The so called "Surgeon of death" had become part of your usual routine, mainly checking on your wounds and informing you on your captain's condition.
You watched as he checked Luffy's vitals. You never left your friend's side since that day, not trusting anyone. Afterall, he was the only one in the crew who's state of being you were sure of.
"Are you going to keep glaring at me the whole time?" His voice broke through your thoughts as you absentmindedly watched him take out bandages he would use to redress Luffy's wounds
"Hm?"
He rolled up his sleeves, allowing more of those tattoos to be visible as he washed his hands. Your eyes fell on those inked hands that both saved lives as a doctor and the cause of unknown terrors as a pirate.
"You're worried about Strawhat-ya?" He stated, lifting Luffy's body as carefully as he could under your harsh gaze.
"Partly," You began, crossing your arms, " I'm curious. Why?"
Law felt something invisible wrap around his neck as soon as his hands had gone off of your captain. He had heard about one of the strawhats having a mysterious devil fruit. One that didn't need the beholder to even lift a finger.
He smirked, feeling your power pressing harder on his neck and allowing little air to flow through his body,"Why?"
Somehow he kept a somewhat confused expression despite the dire consequences of your actions.
"I'm not playing around, Trafalgar."
"I know you're not."
He had a chance to just throw you and Luffy out into sea. You were both anchors afterall. Turn you in for your bounties. Tortured us for treasure. Cut your organs up for whatever sick operations landed him the title he held.
So many questions in your vigilant mind .
"I felt like it," Law said, not being fully honest but also not lying. His eyes didn't leave your face, gauging out your reaction.
"Sounds like something a backalley doctor would say." You let go of him, watching as he took deep breaths to control the panic that he has hidden behind his calm facade.
"DINNERS READY!" a yell from somewhere aboard the ship had called out.
"Sorry for that." You said, no longer looking at him and instead focusing on your unconscious captain. Your fingers had intertwined with his, feeling his pulse at the wrist with your fingers to remind you that he was still alive, even after all the death and destruction of the war
Law hummed in thought, hands lingering on his neck before letting go of the initial threat to his life." I'll have dinner sent to you."
He walked out of the room to join his crew, leaving you to your thoughts as you guarded Luffy.
Two things were decided. One. You wouldn't leave your captain's side until he would wake up.
Two. Trafalgar Law found you just as intriguing.

In another universe...
Where Blackbeard's plans had failed and Luffy managed to save his dear older brother.
In another universe...
Where Akainu couldn't get his last attack in because you managed to block it from hitting either of your favourite boys.
In another universe...
Where you had a df that could heal any injuries. Even if Akainu had placed a large whole in your best friend's body, you could still do something. Recreate all the missing parts and fit them in like they were never burnt to a crisp.
In another universe...
Where Ace could see that he is loved. That he deserves to live. That he is no curse but a blessing in many of the lives of people he met.
The both of you sat at one of the windows of the Polar Tang. Ace's head on your lap and you ruffling his hair. Death was so close to having it's clutches on him. Now it was time for him to rest from all the emotions experienced on that battlefields.
Whitebeard was dead. His father figure was left to die standing back at Marineford. His crew retreating with tears threatening to spill. If it hadn't been for Shanks appearing out of nowhere there wasn't a doubt that they would have not left the place in a casket.
Luffy was being treated by Law and his crew, his body having caught up to all the energy hormones, the near death experiences, the amount of of power he had to use to try and save Ace. He gave his all. Even when his crew weren't by his side, he tried.
Your eyes trailed over Ace's peaceful state. You had forced him to wear a shirt. Since he had hung onto life by a thread, his power had already left, leaving him to experience temperatures he wasn't used to before eating the devil fruit.
Luffy still thought his brother was dead unfortunately. Everyone did. They hadn't seen him being picked up and healed along the way.
The sound of his steadied breath was comforting.
"Luffy's stable," Law approached the two of you silently, noting that the one was asleep." His body took on a lot. Needs time to repair itself."
"Thank you, Law." You head leaned against the wall as you looked at him, hands absentmindedly playing with Ace's hair.
"You alright? You look worse for wear." The doctor sat beside you.," I don't think reforming organs and tissues was your specialty." His tired eyes trailed over to the bandaged on your fingers.
"I try my best,"
Once Luffy had awoken, his eyes catching a glimpse of a tall dark haired male with freckles arguing with you over wearing a jacket he couldn't believe it.
"You're gonna catch a cold,"
"No, I won't." Cue the sneeze. He reluctantly wore the jacket. He looked away when he knew your face would have an expression that screamed "I told you so.". His eyes met with his younger brother's instead.
"Ace?"
The boy's eyes couldn't believe what they were seeing but his body immediately ran to his brother, tears starting to fall .
"ACE!!!"
They both collapsed onto the floor as they took in each other's presence. It was a happy sight. One that brought a smile onto your face. If it took your hands bleeding to see this kind of exchange, going past your healing capabilities, then it was worth it.
Soon you were pulled into the hug. Being squashed between the two brothers.
"THANK YOU SO MUCH, Y/N!" Luffy screamed into you face, a waterfall of tears going down his cheeks. He continued to spew a thousand words of thanks while still squashing you in a hug.
Law watched from the side, a small smile on his face. Ace catching him in his peripheral before walking to him to talk about something.
But soon the time for everyone to separate came. Rayleigh taking in Luffy to undergo training. Soon you were left alone with your friend, watching as his younger brother retreated.
The feel of a larger hand intertwining with yours caught your attention. Eyes going up to the taller fellow beside you. His face had relieved itself from his carefree smile and had a thoughtful frown.
"You alright?"
No answer. Before you could ask again you were carefully enveloped into a hug. You're head against his chest. A small peck was placed on your forehead.
"Thank you."
Zoro with a younger girl who is like his little sister who has been beside him for years headcannons plsss and maybe his reaction to her x luffy?

Zoro x younger sister! Reader

✧。:゚ ゚:。✧:゚ ゚:。✧。:゚ ゚:。✧✧。:゚ ゚:。✧:゚ ゚:。✧。:゚ ゚:。✧
❥ First and foremost, like almost all older brothers, Zoro would be protective of his lil sister.
Anywhere she wants to go off the ship, he's coming along with. Not because he doubts she could take care of herself but because, and I quote, "I don't want you getting lost or something." To which he'd get a 'Thats some bs' look from not only you but from anyone nearby who heard.
❥ Ussop and Nami side-eyeing from the side.
❥ Before the both of you joined the crew you'd work as sort of the nurse whenever he'd get injured in a fight or even during training, even when you were little kids. So ofcourse he'd pay back the favour by teaching you how to fight too -mainly because he doesn't want you getting picked on by other kids and also as a form of bullying you himself.
"C'mon, pick up the sword and fight me!"
"Why don't you drop the other two swords and we can have a fair fight?"
He'd just stare at you, mind piecing together a heinous plan. His grin widening into an evil one.
"What if I give you a little tap then?"
"MOOMMM! ZORO'S TRYING TO FIGHT ME AGAIN!"
❥ Remember that interview he had when he was asked how he lived before joining the crew? Where he'd say he'd kill the sea king and eat it whole. He'd give you a tiny portion of the share. Just to tease you. "You didn't kill it so you don't decide how much you'll get." Meanwhile he placed another larger portion when you're not looking.
❥He wouldn't say "I love you." to you. Brothers don't usually do that. He'd probably laugh at you when you do something dumb or fall over and if cameras were around at that time, he'd take a picture before helping you up
Or say something like:
"Tell me if someone's bothering you. I'll handle them."
❥ Siblings look the same one way or another. So let's just say one of the many things that shouts out that you two are related is your green hair. People who've heard rumours are already scared enough of the name Roronoa Zoro but they tremble even more when they find out he has a sister just as dangerous. Maybe even more.
❥ Sanji. Just that would be a whole case for Zoro.
Sanji treats you like a princess as he does for all women. But the moment Zoro even comes to his line of vision he's a certified hater.
"You're always so beautiful!!" ♡(♡‿♡)♡
"Thank you Sanji, you're beautiful too." (✿^‿^)
"I did not just hear you call that Cook "beautiful"" (ಠಿ_ಠ)
"You say "Cook" like it's a slur."
❥ And Finally like most brothers, he definitely disapproves of any xy chromosome.
When you were still little, he'd chase off any boy who even dared to look at you romantically. Maybe even glare at anyone who went inside your personal space. It wouldn't be in an overbearing way; he'd understand that you wanna live your life.
So when he could see something brew between you and his captain, he was cautious. Don't get it wrong, Luffy is his friend and captain, he'd trust the rubbery man with his life. But you're his sister and he'll still look out for you. Maybe knock some sense into Luffy about some things just in case.
''Luffy.''
''Yeah, Zoro?''
''Hurt her and I'll-''
''Wouldn't dream of it.''
❥ Sanji would be sulking in the corner, tissues and tears at the fact that Luffy got a girlfriend before him.

What is a Captain without his Quartermaster?
No one ever knew the answer to that.
Where ever Luffy went, you were surely around. Same was vice versa.
But the only thing that left many bamboozled about how two opposites could be such great friends.
The both of you had met at Shell's Town. You had been attending to a headache and took a sip of some juice at a bar when the sound of yelling had irritated you.
Turning to find the resident Draco Malfoy yelling at some lanky boy around your age with a strawhat on you groaned.
Helmeppo pointed an accusatory finger at the teen and was just about to order the marines beside him to arrest the guy before you intervened. Annoyed, tired and in need of a good night's rest.
"Could the both of gentlemen take the fight outside, this place just got it's repairs done, we don't need hooligans messing it up."
The blond man turned to give you a piece of mind but his words stopped in their track when he came face to face with the look you gave him. He backed down immediately, the fight within him already taken out.
He turned to the lanky boy again. "You're lucky I'm taking mercy on you boy! My father would have had you beheaded in an instant."
You rolled her eyes at the statement and took a gulp of her juice and asking for a refill. "Thank you, Y/n."The girl nodded at the woman,
"No problem ma'am."
She could hear a pinkette speak in awe of her being able to shush the whiny man. Her cheeks felt warm at the compliment but she remained serious.
Her eyes caught sight of the lanky boy staring deeply at her. She stared back unwaveringly.
"What's your deal , Strawhat?"
He merely smiled at her before calling the pinkette to follow him to free some pirate hunter.
Later in the day she saw a crowd of people at the harbour, she moved through the crowd, a bag of her belongings in hand. She was going to sail off to another island later on.
Reaching the main focus of the crowd she saw the same boy, this time a tall green-haired man beside him. They were settling into their boat but the strawhatted boy yelled about needing to find someone first.
Once he turned to meet your eyes his eyes widened before he ran to you.
"Hey, lady. I need you on my crew!"
You merely stared at him in shock. He barely knew you and he was already dragging you towards the boat even with your protests.
"My name's Monkey D. Luffy. I'm gonna be King of the Pirates!" He declared as you sailed along with him with the man you came to know as Roronoa Zoro.
"The name's Y/n."
And thats when an unexpected friendship occured.
Where Luffy was childish and playful, you were responsible and careful. Not to say you didn't have fun. You were just more level headed.
Luffy dragged you everywhere with him. Whether you wanted to or not.
Dangerous island? Let's go!
A raging sea King was attacking, Luffy , You and Zoro would make quick work of it.
The both of you loved food. Sometimes the most shocking times would be when Luffy would give you some of the meat off his plate if he saw your food wasn't enough. Much to everyone's shock.
The permanent scowl or resting face of yours wouldnt be shown in the slightest when your captain was around. Just as when you give him advice on something he listens. Which shocked Trafalgar Law when he had given up on trying to make another well detailed plan. Soon anyone who worked alongside him knew to have you around if they needed him to properly listen. Without even a smack to the face to make him focus.
He wouldn't admit it but he would immediately wrap a rubbery arm around you when someone tried to flirt. Man nearly fought Sanji when he kissed your hand.
He knew you could hold your own in a fight, in fact you wiped the floor with anyone you fought, but he still watched out for anything.
If he wasn't nearby he'd give either Zoro or Sanji a nod. A silent order to make sure you came back to the ship alive. Unscathed was more preferred but he wasn't one to control your actions.
Whenever you let out your monsterous power, enough to cause fear in the highest ranking navy officials and pirates, he'd have his eyes on your every move, adoring even the crazed smile you'd have on your face. Bro would be cheering like a soccer mom.
When questioned by Robin and Nami about what he felt about you it was as though he were talking about the One Piece.
He didn't know he was in love with you. He just saw it as being overprotective and caring towards his friend.
When he finally understood what romance and love was when Rayleigh explained to him he merely shrugged and thought about Y/n before he realised he was in fact in love. More like he loved you for a long time. Much to Boa's dismay. But she understood when she had met you.
The most angry they had seen Luffy was whenever he found out someone had hurt you. If someone even made you cry that was when he reigned down all hell on that person.
His favourite thing to do was to take a nap beside you when he felt tired, which rarely happens. Robin would chuckle at the sight of her captain snuggled close to your side when all of you ladies relaxed on the deck of the Thousand Sunny. He looked so much at peace.
Sometimes he'd even run up to you unexpectedly, kiss you on the cheek/ forehead or even on the lips and run back to join Ussop while he's fishing.
Sanji was going through the five stages of grief at how single he felt when Luffy stood beside you, holding onto your hand.
Your first kiss together was a mess, the both of you nervous, cheeks overheating and eyes not leaving each other.
It took for someone to accidentally bump into Luffy that led to a proper kiss. ( That someone was Robin)
On some nights you'd cuddle and he'd recall his childhood with Ace and Sabo. His tears coming down slowly only to flow like a river when you cradled him in your arms against your beating heart.
You were there to remind him to takecare of himself. Not just eat a whole restaurant but to also care about his mental and emotional health.
At the end of the day, everyone all had Luffy to count on and Luffy had learnt to count on you too.
You, Zoro and Luffy were a deadly team whenever you fought by each other's side.
The Captain, the Quartermaster and the First Mate.
The heavenly trio
