Dr who theory:

The whole "Master as Death's champion" conversation after Torvic was the Doctor's guilt induced hallucination, and actually the Master did not change because of it, but the Doctor thought he did so thought it was their fault. = More guilt for the Doctor

Either way, these two need to sit down and actually have a proper conversation.

I mean, what was I meant to do, NOT make a thoschei Goncharov au? Honestly, this film has been out since 1973, and Doctor Who has been around since 1963, you’d think someone would have done this before me. But I guess I have to do everything myself around here.

(And yes, the Doctor is Goncharov and the Master is Katya, because these two have THE most ‘bitterly married soon-to-be-divorcees’ dynamic I’ve ever seen. Tell me I’m wrong)
