Working on 3D fractals again (made in Incendia), I would like to make this a necklace over at Shapeways. But I have to figure out how to prepare models for 3D printing. If anyone has any tips on preparing models for 3D printing let me know.

Unfinished quick study, which is actually widescreen 1080p. But I am pretty happy with how the tree is looking this far.
Just finished my anthro ball animation assignment. Can you guess what animal it is?

I doubt I am finished with it, but it is what I have completed in a few hours of work. I am getting the graph editor of Maya so easily now. I am excited that I am one step closer to being an animator! I know this is a basic exercise, but I am just that excited.
Lighting and Texturing Class. W.I.P
Overarching Project- Working on lighting setups. Current stage- Troubleshooting
Working on my semester long project- build a scene (which all these models are 3D party sourced from turbosquid (free ones) and 3Drender Challenge... no time in this course to build your own.)
I like the way the light looks in the black and white, the way the windows silhouettes are farther apart, whereas the two in sepia has better render quality. I am having issues with God Rays, and the Transmat/Parti volume box- graininess and odd color changes to the left wall and ceiling. (the sepia versions are missing a part of the table- forgot to unhide it in these test renders) Anyhow- the scene is a small cramped apartment of a slob (adding more items), where the occupant has left something on the burner that just begun to smolder- hence the reason for god rays (aka "light beams with participating media"). Which will add to the effect of the smoke gathering in the room.
Eventually, I will be adding smoking effects above the stove as well as textures to reflect the charring from the smoke's carbon...

I worked on this for about 7 hours. Artgerm provided the character line art and I provided the paint. :D I do not know if I will win the contest or not because the deadline is today and I hope to see who wins either way. Nevertheless I really enjoyed doing this at the last minute. It has been some time since I posted a complete piece of 2D art, I have been too busy with work.
