Can I just say, that working in a department of only 4 people (one of which left and we're getting a replacement) it is unbelievably stressful when you make one mistake and it messes up everything.

I messed up an order, easy fix. everything I did wrong was/ is a easy fix. But my anxiety is through the roof right now, that I'm having nightmares and waking up in the middle of the night feeling like I was going to barf. I am physically sick.

I had to call out today and I literally dumped my mess on someone else who has been sick for over a week now. That's not fair, and it's not fair that I feel this overwhelming feel of fucking up so bad.

This past week has been bad and I think it all finally hit and it hit where I need to be focused the most.

I can't stop panicking, ya'll. I feel like barfing so bad, or crying.

Since I can't really play BG3 with Tarlin anymore (I've developed him to the point where if I mess up anything in game I feel like I have to start over and it's exhausting) I decided to make my Corpalis baby

Anyway. New baby dropped.

Corpalis Olania.

Wanted to redraw my dbz oc. I cut off her arm and stole her eye, she's a genetically modified human who can shapeshift and if she wants to shapeshift in to a specific person she has to have a taste of their blood.

Basically revamping (pun not intended) my character. Probably do the same to her kids.

Finally started playing Cloud Meadow and I'm enjoying it greatly.

Now excuse me as I go to bed cause I've been playing Something+ hours and I am tired.

Spent over an hour messing with the character creator to have just examples of Tarlins family.

Been playing bg3 again and enjoying them mods!

Because of all that I finally got around to draw my drow Tarlin (Tavlyn depending on which campaign I'm playing cause I keep making new campaigns and they're all just him)

Tarlin was born in the underdark in Menzoberranzan to a lower Lolth priestess and her pleasure slave, a Seldarine drow named Ristal. He was destined to be a lolth priestess as well, but as an Eilistraee worshipper, Ristal couldn't handle having his youngest being a pawn for the spider queen. So he abducted him while he was only a couple months old and ran to the surface, ending up in Luskan.

While on the surface Ristal fell in love with a half elf who instantly took the role of Tarlins mother. Everything was great until about 6 years in when Ristal disappeared and a odd fringe group of Sune worshippers kidnapped Tarlin.

Tarlins life is a blur after that, living in a cult until his late teens, losing his best friend(who is turned into a vampire), then escaping and wondering Faerun in search of said friend, his mother and father.

He finds his friend in his early 40s shortly before the events of Bg3.

(in traditional vampire fan fashion) Tarlin and Astarion become partners.

In whatever ending the good, the bad, and the heartbreaking, Tarlin ends up being turned into a vampire by his friend during childbirth. He has a daughter with Astarion, Alena, a dhampir.

Little tidbits:

Tarlins left eye is marked with a Sune blessing, the red gets more vibrant when Tarlin develops genuine feelings for someone (the only someone is Astarion). The mark will turn black and his left eye goes blind when he is heartbroken, only happens in a heartbreaking ending.

Tarlin is an Eilistraee worshipper, so he has her old symbol tattooed on his left arm. He has 2 star tattoos on his chest because they are the first thing he remembers seeing when he and his father left the underdark.

Tarlin has piercings, nearly everywhere. He takes out his facial piercings during the events of bg3, cause being punched in the face hurts with them in, and obviously, he fights more, and he can't deal with that bs.

I'm gonna post some screenshots of everyone soon cause I spent 3 hours just designing what everyone in his family looks like.

Tavlyn is a Seldarine drow, born in Menzoberranzan to a Lolth priestess and a low life male named Ristal (Seldarine as well) Tav was to become a priestess as well but Ristal didn't want that and kidnapped him and brought him to Luskan, where he grew up.

His marking is a "blessing" from a Sune priest who was obsessed with him. (It darkens in color when he falls in love, genuine love, which he develops for Astarion)

I work at a craft store. Wtf.

My stomach still hurts, I was not expecting to fucking barf last night. All I had was one donut, that's all!

Last night was wild and it's gonna keep being wild until Friday.

I said, "My boss told me to get my pronoun pins/buttons approved by the store manager, because the company is strict on what we can wear." And mentioned the pronoun part isn't the problem it's the design and them not being provided by the store.

BUT everyone's freaking out that I'm not allowed to wear pronoun pins/buttons.

Learn how to fucking read. Please, I'm begging you. I can wear fucking pronoun labels, just not custom shit. It has to come from the damn company.

Got a day job in April, got a divorce, moved back in with my mother, ya know the normal divorced person my age thing to do.

I'm a tiny bit more active on my art account but not by much. My creative juices ain't flowing too good since everything ^ up there ^ happened.

I'm hoping and praying I can make stuff again. I'm going bananas not being able to make shit.

ANYWAY, hello

Real big mess that keeps getting bigger over here.

Hello, I'm still kicking just very exhausted and trying to figure things out.

In a nutshell, still have a hole in our roof and ceiling, insurance people dragging ass so who knows if this will be covered, staying at a friends with their gremlin and feeling weirdly healthier?, relationship miscommunication, got job?, and I haven't drawn anything and it feels like years. Also, nose piercing.

So a lot is happening.

I know it's only been a week or two since my last post, but it honestly feels like months due to the stress (I have a gray streak now, in a week got a streak), and I just want things to go back to a normal state.

Gotta put it out there, this year is balls.

I posted on my art account about how I'm not going to be making much stuff because I have a hole in my roof and ceiling along with Mold. So much mold.

In a bit of a nutshell, house is fucked, landlord/father-in-law is doing his best and is going as fast as he can. My mom told me, not these exact words, I'm a burden when I was asking for help and now I'm sitting in my friends basement (bless her) in fight or flight mode with a continuous eye twitch and all 4 of my pets and husband.

I'm absolutely heartbroken. I love this mans work and I've looked up to him for years. He was my idol and inspiration for getting into art, I'm not talking just dbz art I mean art as a whole. He inspired me so much that I went to art school.

Idk what else to add. On a personal level, this is just one more thing to solidify 2024 being a shit year, and I want the year to be over already.

“Emile Corsi” is not real. anything claiming to be done by an artist named Emile Corsi is ai generated art, it does not exist. what’s worse is that the person behind this “artist”, these “artworks” is that they are falsifying the historical record. these images are not from the 1800s; they were not generated until just a few weeks ago… this is intentional misinformation folks

So I'm looking into elf stuff for my next campaign, and I found something interesting. If someone already found this or wrote about it, just ignore me, lol

For everyone who has discussed, "Why does Astarion remember Sebastián but not his own eye color?" HERE'S PROBABLY WHY!

To start with elfs are "children" until they are 50 years old or so. During this time their memories are kinda iffy, just like how when you think about your childhood it's kinda foggy.

NOW TO THE POINT!

Astarion was turned at 39, so he is still a "child" in elf culture (They're not considered adults until they're 100 btw), so he would have that same early memory fog, and that's why he can't remember what he looked like.

As for him remembering Sebastian, when they met, Astarion was 69 *noice* so he should be out of the "child" phase, and his memories are more permanent in away.

tl;dr

Astarion had the elven equivalent of human "baby" memory brain when he was turned, but when he met Sebastian, he was more memory brain stable.

Elves are fickle creatures, and in Dnd feel even more so.
