thinking about dick grayson.

dick who has dedicated his life to another man's cause. who lost almost all connections to his history, his heritage at such a young age. who spent his youth trying to live up to another man's ideals, to be shape shift and change into what he thought was wanted out of him. dick grayson who realized he cannot always be what others want, dick grayson who decided to become his own man. dick grayson who had the last name his mother called him torn away from him, who never had a say in letting it go. dick who refuses to allow his closest friends to support him but would have unwavering support for them. dick who wasn't even on the planet when his younger brother died, wearing the vestiges of his childhood.

dick grayson who hallucinates this boy, and apologizes over and over and over again for not being more. dick who cannot understand the same boy when he comes back, who can barely be civil with him half the time. dick grayson who learned what it means to truly draw blood when he was threatened with history repeating itself.

dick grayson who refused to step back into the role that was torn away from him. dick grayson who still came home to help, who will always come home to help. dick who takes the punches, takes the heart-stopping medication, no sorry the pill, no sorry i meant. dick grayson who died in order to serve the mission, (always for Him) always for the mission.

dick who watched his city burn. the city he swore was his to protect. dick who gave his body and soul to protect. his body (rain, cold cold rain). and soul (guns are so much louder when you're not trying to stop them).

dick grayson who had to mourn Him alone. dick grayson who raised His son, dick who watched who he thought was his strongest supporter, walk out of his life. the kid he thought understood him best and was always going to be there for him, walk out of his life to save the mission, (always comes back to Him). dick grayson who learned how to bear the weight of a cape he never wanted.

dick grayson who is naturally a performer. who knows how to pretend better than he knows how to be honest. dick who hides the worst of it inside.

I wonder if Talia is jealous of Tim because of the attention he gets from Ra's and Bruce.

I mean, she primed a very angry-and-homicidal Jason to add Tim to his hit list. And later, when she sent Damian to Gotham--she had to have known that Damian would try to kill Tim, since that's what they do in the League.

Because Tim basically has everything Talia ever wanted. He gets recognition from Ra's, and he has a position at Bruce's side. And Talia, who craved Ra's' approval and Bruce's love for so long, has nothing.

also i kinda made the 2nd one out of spite of the twink jay truthers. that man is not skinny or weak or frail. he is a grown man and he has muscles and he is beautiful and perfect . He's literally a ninja like omg he trains and does fights and prolly tries to see how many consecutive backflips he can do idk (the answer is 0). i think he'd probably be relatively lean & slim but actaully super super strong. also i think nya would just be rlly muscular and beefier compared to jay .....Just because she's awesome like that

Apparently its canon that:

Dick and Jason look alike.

Dick is basically Bruce's carbon copy.

Can you imagine how many times Dick have been mistaken as Jason and Bruce? Or Jason being mistaken as Dick?
