Concept: Jasico with Praetor Jason Grace and his mysterious advisor Nico Di Angelo who you’re never sure what his motives are.
But he’s always at Jason’s side.
No one would ever guess that it was Jason who cornered Nico, sword at his throat as he calmly questioned what a spy was doing at his camp.
He was no diplomat of Pluto for the gods didn’t care for us when war broke out. They would not care to send you now, so I ask you again who are you?
They don’t know that Nico revealed his true nature and while he didn’t reveal all his cards he showed his hand more than he ever has.
That there is another battle on the horizon, and I’m here to make sure it doesn’t tear you all apart.
“And why would a son of Pluto, no a child of Hades care for the plight of Rome?”
“I don’t. But I have a sister living here and I want her to be safe. If this threat comes our way then nowhere will be safe.”
“Very well but you will answer to me, to Reyna and us alone. You will be my shadow, my eyes and ears as my advisor. It’ll grant you immunity and all the things you require.”
“Not that I’m complaining but…that’s it? You’d accept me like that?”
“I had a sister once…I would do anything to see her again. And Hazel is a dear friend. That’s all I need to know to trust you.”
“You shouldn’t trust me.”
“I could say the same.”
When Jason Grace wakes up, he's surrounded by friends. He's holding hands with a beautiful girl who says that they're in love, and there’s a boy with a wild grin who says they’re best friends. Jason doesn’t know what’s going on, but he knows he's surrounded by people who care for him and want to help him.
When Percy Jackson wakes up, he's almost completely alone. His only connection is a wolf that seems to be judging his every move as it decides his worth. He's fighting for his life and desperately searching to find a place that would take him in and accept him.
When Jason and Percy were switched, they didn't just have their physical selves swapped. They had their lives swapped. Jason got to believe that someone loved him, and Percy got to experience what it was like to have no one.
Abigail: Arthur, John is missing you need to go save him.
Dutch: Arthur, Micah is in prison and about to be hanged you need to go save him.
Trelawny: Arthur, Sean is being transported to be executed, we need to go save him.
Ms Grimshaw: Arthur, Tilly has been kidnapped we need to go save her.
Dutch: Hmm it would appear that Arthur has gone missing after a sketchy parley with my sworn enemy that we all agreed was an obvious trap.
Dutch:……
Camp:…….
Dutch: Eh, whatever. Im sure he’s fine.
I see a lot of posts taking about how Elphaba couldn’t believe someone like Fiyero would ever love her (because she’s been told she’s repulsive/unloveable her whole life). Like, why would a handsome prince who could have anyone he wanted chose her, the weird green girl?
But you know what I love even more? If Fiyero can’t believe Elphaba would want him.
Fiyero. Handsome, charming, a literal prince. Admired by all his classmates and landed the school’s it-girl, Galinda. No doubt has a bright future ahead regardless of how many schools he’s kicked out of because he’s at the height of wealth and privilege.
And he’s sulking around campus because he doesn’t think he’s good enough to date the green girl everyone dislikes.
After all, Elphaba is so smart and brave and beautiful despite what others say about her green skin. She doesn’t put on airs or act shallow like the other students do. She’s sharply perceptive, seeing right through him in a way that no else really has. She cares deeply about those in need and has the courage to do something about. She spat in the Wizard’s face, told him he has no real power, and ran off from a tempting offer for a better life in favor of doing what she knew was right. Despite her cold exterior, she’s never outright cruel to others despite how cruel others are to her. And on top of all that, she’s a once in a lifetime talent at sorcery.
She’s extraordinary. Why would she go for a shallow, brainless party boy like him? (He tells himself as she’s singing “I’m Not That Girl” elsewhere in the woods).
Cringe culture is dead, I’m drawing the famous video game cowboys together. Even if they’re from entirely different games and eras.
(Moment for just Arthur 🤌)
Concept: After the Battle of Mount Othrys Camp Jupiter grew afraid of Jason.
Jason had always been there golden boy. Sure he’d always pushed for things they didn’t approve of, like ending beloved traditions because they were “harming others.”
But he’d always been someone they trusted, relied on and looked to for aid.
Seeing him go up against Krios, a titan and the power and skills that he showcased. It reminded them all that Jason wasn’t just any old demigod, he was a son of Jupiter.
Jason only pushed himself that hard to save them, surviving the ordeal hadn’t even crossed his mind. But seeing how far he went scared them all.
What if one day he turns on them?
Most of them were legacies after all, little more than mortals. What could they do against one who could do the impossible like he just did.
They couldn’t kill him and none were even brave enough to try. So they began to shun him. Slowly but surely isolating Jason away until he was left with no one.
Even Reyna who had thought the whole thing was ridiculous had already begun to distance herself from him because of Venus’s words.
Jason didn’t know what he did wrong. He threw himself into work hoping that maybe his efforts would change things. But nothing did, if anything the more effort he made to help the worse it became.
Octavian was front and centre trying to diminish whatever credibility Jason had left. He spoke of tragedies that would occur in his name.
And how he’d be much better suited in the position of Praetor. People didn’t treat it like it was something outrageous anymore.
The day Jason vanished they all sighed with relief.
Do you guys think that Arthur knows how to make flower crowns?
Because I think when Tilly joined the camp, she was already hurt by the people around. She wasn't a child, she was a survivor.
And I think Arthur being in late teens/early twenties, while being a brute and a criminal, somehow he saw that Tilly wasn't happy. And while he would rather be out hunting, he sat down with her. He took her with him around. In those moments, he didn't treat her like a woman, he treated her like a girl. Like a teenage girl that wants to do dumb stuff. That wants to talk about pointless things, about her dreams, about a book she read. Who wanted to annoy her older brother just because. And he gave her that space, to be a younger sister.
And that's why he knows how to make flower crowns, he had to learn for Tilly.
Fun idea for y'all: Roman is the Ego, yes? And Janus is self-preservation, meaning he preserves the Self, in another words he preserves Thomas's identity as himself. And a Ego and a Self are directly and inherently connected.
Meaning: Knight Janus and Prince Roman; or Dragon Janus and Prince Roman; or Shadow Janus and Prince Roman.
Thank you for coming to my TEDTalk
So this plot bunny was born due to @mrskrazy amazing Ghost Rider drawing of Arthur. Don’t know if I will ever write this, but feel free to add or write about this au, also big thanks to @deputyoneill for helping me flesh out this idea. Also bear with me, I’ve been trying to make heads or tails of Ghost Rider lore and it is so damn confusing, if I get something wrong please correct me, but no hate.
So this au starts six months before blackwater, job. It all started late one night when John and Arthur are riding back from a successful job, the pair come to a crossroads and at the crossroads is the Stranger. The stranger makes a comment about how wonderful a job Arthur has been doing, doing all these deeds that would send his soul straight to hell. Arthur and John are confused as fuck, and try to attack the Stranger but, it doesn’t work. The Stranger simply says that’s it time for Arthur to come with him. Arthur falls to the ground in pain, and John in a moment of fear and panic falls to his knees next to Arthur and states that he loves him, the Stranger glares daggers at John and says something about how he can’t take Arthur soul to hell, but he could do something else. Again Arthur and John look confused at the man, and the man says that if he can’t take Arthur soul, then Arthur will collect the souls for him. The Stranger held up a ball of fire and tossed it Arthur. The man started to scream out of pain, and then he started to transform. The Stranger says that when it’s dark or if he’s in the presence of evil the rider will come and he will collect the souls of the damned. With that the Stranger is gone, and Arthur is now a flaming skeleton.
It takes months for John and Arthur to get use to this new form and powers. At the start John and Arthur would rush out of camp, before night came. (One time they forgot and to there shock Arthur didn’t transform.) And then blackwater happened, and Arthur has to will himself from turning when they save Sadie. And then Micah, gets arrested in strawberry. Arthur goes but he doesn’t want to. And then it happens, after Micah is freeded, he turns. Much to shock, horror and fear of everyone. And then it hits Arthur, he looks at Micah who is looking at him with the fear of God in his eyes, and due to the riders powers he can see every sin that Micah had committed. And then it hits Arthur it was Micah who betrayed them at blackwater and had plans to turn Dutch in. Arthur in a fit of rage used the Penance Stare to kill Micah. And then he turns back, the lawmen could stare in horror, and Arthur flees. He lies to Dutch, telling him that Micha was hung. Dutch was not happy, but with Micha gone the gang seemed more at ease.
