This is probably a stupid thought but when i first saw this place my first thought was Hollow knight’s deepnest for whatever reason purely because of the dark atmosphere and cobwebs or.. whatever that stuff is. But cLeArLy it LoOks mOre LIke KInGdOm’s EdGe(slightly anyway with the snow anddd these are all major stretches)

Gaster just has a very simple face. You kinda have to work to get it detailed enough that it’s hard to do in a 10 sec sketch

yeah, exactly XD i did redraw the base oval a couple times just so it wasn’t completely lopsided or more of a spiral than a closed shape, but it didn’t take me long to get a good one and after that is was just eyes, mouth, cracks, boom he’s done. flowey’s on almost the same level of simplicity, i felt like a little kid again drawing him XD

yep, that -_- is pretty much their trademark, it’s great XD

tbh the generally simple and straightforward character design of undertale is one of its strongest features; you can boil these characters down to the barest caricatures and they’re still recognizable. that’s some really good character design, and i love it. ^^

Existential crisis

i wanted to keep doing mobtober but this is like the one year i really shouldn't bebecause i have to work on my college portfolio and i very much still have a lot of pieces left to make (all my work has been fanart for the most part and i have to use several mediums other than digital for the college I want to go to) and school has also been bombarding me with hw i want to cryyyyy. I really wanted to do mobtober so maybe i'll still try and squeeze some small doodles but my brain wants to make huge pieces that'll take several hours to do i hate it
