It’s actually so disheartening to see how many people think de-platforming is the only solution to an issue with a content creator, especially one who’s expressed remorse and wants to grow and change.

In my opinion de-platforming should be reserved for creators who are currently an active danger if they have a platform. Someone who’s apologized and is making an effort to change is clearly not an active danger so I just don’t believe that they deserve to loose everything they’ve worked towards 😭

i love how for fanart of basically any dsmp character there's so many variations, even with the characters with "boring" skins like purpled, except for punz. every drawing of punz i've seen has the exact same design. he's just Some Guy in a white hoodie with a medallion every single time. especially in fanart where he's next to dream, "terrifying, almost horror-like drawing of a masked creature wearing a huge green cloak and his bestie, Random Blond Gamer"

I love the thought of c!Dream being deeply unsettling. There's something off about him, something you can't put your finger on, that makes you dread being alone in a room together. Even when he's trapped in a prison cell, it feels like he's the one with the power. I love the thought of that being intentional—when he has no weapons, he can make his own. He still has his mind. He still has his voice.

Obviously that's not who c!Dream is By Default, but it's interesting how well he can play the character when he chooses to. When he decides it can work to his benefit.

remember when 'edgy' was a red flag for someone being deliberately awful and mean and therefore they were immediately dismissed? what happened to that.

actually though the final dsmp stream kinda destroyed my ass. this server has such a complicated presence in internet history but i treasure it so much and i didnt realize the extent of my attachment to it until it was time for it to go. yanno?

im glad they’re not doing a season 2 or trying to drag it out but god im gonna miss it. 2020 sucked for a lot of reasons but it gave us this, at least. it was so special and i dont think ill ever feel the same way about another smp, hell, even any other piece of media. sorry for the cringe im just still coo coo crazy about these minecrafters
