The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is now official

It seems like Samsung has completely revealed all details. In earlier known specifications there were some changes and they are waving in front of us with new details about Galaxy Note 4 right now.

The Galaxy Note 4 will come with a 5.7-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display at a demented resolution of 2560x1440 pixels (515 ppi). Inside of the body itself the quad core 2.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 or eight core Samsung Exynos 5433 processors by choice, Adreno 420 GPU, 3GB of RAM and 32/64GB of internal memory for both models will be located. This device also got an excellent 16-megapixel back camera with Optical Image Stabilization system, 3.7-megapixel module for Selfies and a fingerprint sensor. The body of Note 4 is a dust and waterproof and conforms to the IP67 standard, that indeed corresponds to the established tradition. The handset also comes with a new Samsung S pen.

The fourth generation of Galaxy Note will be launched globally in October, so it will go on sale in the US with Android 4.4.4 KitKat on board.  It costs $299 on-contract and $799 off-contract. The Note 4 is available on AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and certainly Verizon.

The prototype was already introduced to the attendees, who had an opportunity to be the first to try demo games for the headset, such as “Eve: Valkyrie”, the space simulator, Deep Sea simulator and few others. If you look at the prototype you can understand that the design is incredibly futuristic and amazing, but nevertheless the creators stipulate that it will modified in order to have even better performance and look. It is clearly seen for the moment that the Sony’s creation looks much more completed and unique than the hotfoot Oculus Rift, which is already on sale, by the way.

The display of Project Morpheus is 90 degrees wide comparing to Oculus VR, which has 110 degrees of sight range, but nevertheless when immersing into the game such details have no sense for your peripheral vision, as the first players affirm. Also both devices have 1080p HD quality video, which is by the way claimed to be insignificant for fabulous emotions while playing, though as Oculus has already released, Sony has some time to upgrade their Project’s specs.

As Facebook has started to support Oculus VR, we might see some interesting games made for Windows, but it is not a big secret that Sony is more powerful platform for video games than the social network is. Sony can already boast with more features, such as DualShock and PlayStation move controllers having a better physical performance for the player. Furthermore there’s a speed-racing game, which requires a player only to lie on the bed and nod the head with no other controllers involved. Morpheus also comes with a new 3D audio technology that re-creates stereoscopic sounds in all directions and adapts depending on your head position.

So here’s what we see at the moment: Oculus has a first–go advantage and Sony has an opportunity to outrace the beginner. But thanks to Facebook’s continuous patronage the eventual result may be opposite, if more innovative and interactive games will be created for Oculus VR headset in the nearest future. And for the moment we can see such opportunity in their hands, as the release date of Sony’s device and the price it might sell for is still unknown. But most probably we should aim for 2015!

11 inches high and weighing only 6 pounds robot can identify each family member using his face and voice rendering sensor in order to interact, whether it is a simple conversation or a task they are asked for. The robot boy can’t even stroll, but he can catch you with his eyes turning face-to-face in front of you. He also has touch sensors throughout his aluminum-plastic-glass body inlayed with LED lamps creating the color-lighting show when joking or amusing the guests. Two speakers allow the robo-friend to speak with people surrounding him and even to tell stories to the kids before they get asleep.

Ever wanted to have your own home secretary reminding you about upcoming events or meetings or even delivering your messages to the persons around? All these and even more may be integrated through the upcoming software, which should be installed via Wi-Fi receiver embedded.

Jibo is not available yet, but can be pre-ordered now for about $499 and shipped on Christmas of 2015. But if you choose the developer’s kit for $599 you might see it beforehand in the fall of 2015.

Apple plans to release a 12-inch MacBook with a completely new design and a high-resolution Retina Display. The novelty will be thinner than the MacBook Air and cheaper then current line of MacBook Pro. Kinect for Windows is already on the doorsteps

NVIDIA Shield 2 console may launch in July

In October last year, CEO of NVIDIA, Jen-Hsun Huang San said that the second version of the portable game console Shield is under construction. According to the published drawing, NVIDIA Shield 2 received some exterior changes and will be a little thinner than its predecessor.

Today, this device codenamed NVIDIA P2570 has successfully passed certification of the Federal Agency of Communications (FCC). According to recent information NVIDIA Shield 2 will be powered by the new NVIDIA Tegra K1 processor with a clock speed of 2.5GHz, GeForce GPU, 4GB of RAM and it will come with 16GB of built in storage. The game console also will feature a new 5-inch display with a resolution of 1440x810 pixels and OS Android 4.4.2 KitKat.

We've heard rumors about the launch of the new NVIDIA Shield 2. The company may announce it globally on the 22nd of July, but this date is not official yet.

Stylish and smart Google watch

Google recently announced their watches Nexus SmartWatch codenamed Nexus Gem. In contrast to Sony Smartwatch 2 and Samsung Galaxy Gear2, Google created its own a concept SmartWatch is compatible with all Android devices.

According to the authors of the project, clock interface should be simple and practical. The new device will contain familiar to all Android OS and even have all of the same standard applications. Of course, now it is only a concept, though, it looks very attractive and such device should not be too challenging to manage.

Earlier we heard that the Nexus Gem could be as Motorola xWatch, but Google decided to release a new SmartWatch is under its own brand Nexus, and not under the brand Motorola. The device should work with the new Google devices which has Android 4.4 as well as with other devices on this platform.

Unlike competitors Google intends to make its SmartWatch with a price tag of less than $ 299.
