Why Hasn’t This Been Done Before?

Look, I'm not a furry, but I'm friends with quite a few furries, and if y'all look at furry art and assume it's inherently a fetish thing, based SOLELY on the fact that it's furry art, that's a YOU problem.

The right wing vigilante who shot at three protesters in Kenosha, Wisconsin last night. Apparently, at this time, not apprehended or arrested, was offered water by police.

From an eyewitness: “(he) went on a shooting rampage a bit ago down by the hospital here in Kenosha. He’s a white supremacist militia member I’m told, who was on the phone with police while he was shooting innocent protestors. And then the police were handing him water after he shot one man in the head (likely dead), another in the stomach and another in the arm”. My face is having uncontrollable spasms. Great. It hurts really, really, really bad.

I think part of why I have trouble explaining pain to the doctor is when they ask about the pain scale I always think “Well, if someone threw me down a flight of stairs right now or punched me a few times, it would definitely hurt a lot more” so I end up saying a low number. I was reading an article that said that “10” is the most commonly reported number and that is baffling to me. When I woke up from surgery with an 8" incision in my body and I could hardly even speak, I was in the most horrific pain of my life but I said “6” because I thought “Well, if you hit me in the stomach, it would be worse.”

How METAL would it be if everyone got a mini neuropsych eval every year starting in childhood. Like how you get a checkup and a dental check every year. What if people weren't already struggling adults when they figure out they have a mental illness or a learning disability or autism or ADHD or trauma any other form of neurodivergence. Or even a a neurotypical just having an issue that needs to be addressed before it gets worse. What if maintaining your mental/emotional/neurological health was normalized as something every one does regularly and not only addressed after behavioral problems or being miserable or struggling at work or school or being an addict or having no friends?
