Tweet by Mohammad Alsaafin @malsaafin dated 24 November 2023:

An hour into the ceasefire, Aljazeera’s reporter in Gaza says Israeli forces are firing in the vicinity of the Rantisi Hospital to stop people who are attempting to return to their homes there
Tweet by Yara Eid 🇵🇸 يارا عيد @yaraeid_ dated 24 November 2023:

Right now the “fake” truce has started and people of Gaza are crowding the streets trying to visit each other and see if their loved ones are still alive or not. This 4 day deal if it continues will allow people to see how much they’ve lost, we’re going to know the news of our loved ones who’ve been killed and we didn’t hear about them, we’ll see our Gaza being completely wiped out. Right now the level of devastation will be tripled. People will have few moments to comprehend the genocide that is happening to them. What we need is a permanent ceasefire, this 4 day deal is just torture….
Tweet by Yara Eid 🇵🇸 يارا عيد @yaraeid_ dated 24 November 2023:

Imagine that you’re given only 4 days of (no bombardment) after 48 days of complete terror. 4 days then you’ll go back to the genocide. 4 days then you’ll go back to the nonstop bombardment and massacres. 4 days and then you’ll be killed any minute. And in those 4 days you’re not even allowed to go back to your homes in the city/ north to check if ur loved ones are still alive, to look for the body parts of your children under rubble.. to gather what’s left of them and bury them. Right now Israeli soldiers shot at many Palestinians trying to go back to their homes…
Tweet by Yara Eid 🇵🇸 يارا عيد @yaraeid_ dated 24 November 2023:

Israel has already killed two Palestinians since the beginning of this “fake” truce and shot at dozens of displaced people trying to go back to their homes. Dozens injured. How is this a humanitarian pause?
Tweet by dylan saba @shaabiranks dated 24 November 2023:

When IDF snipers, during a ceasefire, shoot at civilians attempting to leave the hospital where they are sheltering to go see if their home was destroyed in the carpet bombing—what’s the legal term of art for that?

If you are unable to afford donating, this link allows you to click a button every 24 hours in order help donate to Palestine.

American mutuals, I seriously urge you to tell Congress and Biden to stand with Palestine, and do not stop sending this message. You can also donate here.

This is not a war; what Israel is doing to Palestine is genocide. Do not sit idly by and do not stay quiet. Now more than ever is the most important time to not look away.

“transition poses some ethical questions. Such as, from what age should you be allowed to irreversibly change your body.“

This of course completely ignores the fact that puberty makes irreversible changes to your body. But let us just rephrase the question: “from what age do you gain bodily autonomy?” Now it gets very easy to answer: From the moment you’re fucking born.

Biden Administration Proposes Rule To Curb Disability Discrimination In Health Care
Disability Scoop
Federal officials are proposing new regulations prohibiting medical providers from discriminating against people with disabilities and setti

“This historic proposed rule will advance justice for people with disabilities and help ensure they are not subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving funding from HHS just because they have a disability.”

btw. being kink positive means ALL kinks even the ones you think are "immoral" or whatever the fuck. "but what about-" especially that one. no sex act between consenting adults is immoral actually. kill the cop in your brain.

of course that doesn't mean you have to be comfortable with every kink. it's fine to have limits for your own personal stuff. but if you judge people based on what they do with their consenting partners, I cannot stress this enough, you are being a bad person.

Hey there,

Not sure if you've heard, but the employees at Powell's City of Books in Portland are sharing a petition to get Powell's to pay them fairly.

Seems pretty pathetic that an establishment that is considered iconic, a destination for so many visitors, won't treat their employees as a valuable part of that reputation.

Anyway, I'm sure it'd do nothing but help their cause if could give them some support?

To make sure another book store doesn't go down in flames.

Absolutely. That's

And as they stress, Please note: this is not a call for a boycott; it’s a call for signatures! Please sign and share!

Palestinians are not "animals."

They are not "children of darkness."

Little kids are rescuing cats and trying to comfort them when they themselves are terrified.

A doctor broke down when his father and brother came into the trauma unit.

And several of his colleagues hugged and gathered to comfort him.

Journalists are playing with babies.

Doctors are refusing to evacuate hospitals because their patients can't and refuse to leave them.

There's a little boy who gives tea to the journalists and thanks them for spreading their stories.

He's displaced at the hospital, his home is gone.

A kid was asked what he wants to be when he grows up and he said kids in Gaza don't grow up.

Kids are writing their names on their arms so they can be identified.

Momin Kireka is a Palestinian journalist who was disabled by an Israeli attack in 2008.

And despite the difficulty in moving around, he vows to continue to show the world the truth.

Awni, a young Palestinian boy has a gaming YouTube channel he loved so much.

He was killed in the bombing.

Mohammed Sami was an artist who's dream was to open an art gallery.

He was playing with the kids to raise their spirits. And the next day he was killed.

They are victims.

They are going through unimaginable horrors and still find it in their hearts to be kind.

They have hopes and dreams just like you and I.

They are people.

And they deserve to be recognised and known as such.

in light of a four day ceasefire in Gaza being agreed upon, i am once again asking you all not to lose sight of the big picture. Biden and the Israeli Government are trying to frame this as a major democratic victory and as a favor respectively. they have no intention of a total ceasefire. they have no intention of stopping their genocide. remember - a ceasefire is the very first step. it’s not even the bare minimum.

the absolute bare minimum in this situation is 1) a complete ceasefire and immediate humanitarian aid in Gaza, 2) complete halt of all military foreign aid to the Israeli government, 3) the Israeli government being prosecuted for its war crimes in the International Criminal Court, and 4) land back and reparations for the Palestinian people. free Palestine means free Palestine, not just temporarily stop carpet bombing Palestine.

a temporary ceasefire is something, but it’s not even close to the end goal. we cannot let up pressure when things seem to be looking up. keep protesting, boycotting, spreading awareness, contacting politicians, etcetera. keep your eyes on Gaza. free Palestine.
