then asking for a giant sword made out of dozens of knives duct taped together as his main weapon. (They'd have to pay money for this.)

And Shigaraki said 'sure' to all of it. Is it any surprise he's dedicating his destruction of Mt. Fuji to Spinner? We all talk about Spinner's giant crush on Shigaraki, but i think Shigaraki is actually the one got a crush first, moment he first saw the guy.

An analyzes to Shigaraki’s bedroom, besides the journals with hero stuff we have many cool things! The anime one looks different from the original so I analyzed both. Both have cute plushie and action figures awww <3 

Also, Shig canonically has a game control!  And lube I guess?

based on horikoshi's heavy dependence on flashbacks as set up while in the middle of the thing that's supposed to be set up and also his obsession with overexplaining random little plot points that could have easily been skated over or just not referenced without losing anything in the story, i want to say first of all. the heavy dependence on flashbacks and obsession with overexplaining random little plot points is not good writing. not at all. it's very annoying and has really killed the flow of the last act.

anyways based on my scientific analyses we likely have a higher than average chance of a proper spinaraki flashback detailing spinner talking to shigaraki about the horizon and i for one cannot be more excited. because spinaraki never fuckin loses.

Ok I just can’t stop thinking about this because this is the first time we’ve seen Shigaraki’s perspective on the spinaraki relationship.

Before it’s always been Spinner looking at Shigaraki and waxing something close to poetry about him, but now we have Shigaraki thinking about Spinner and acting on his friend’s (supposed) desires. Shigaraki said at the beginning of MVA that his allies “should get what they want in life”, and the first person he thinks of giving their wish to was Spinner. Spinner!

It reveals that the closeness between the two is mutual on both ends and not just one-sided from Spinner. I’m jumping around over this! I’m so glad we see Shigaraki outright acknowledge his connection and fondness for everyone’s favorite gamer boy!

Side note: I mentioned this in a couple reblogs, but the fact that Spinner told Shigaraki that he liked that warped horizon and wanted more means that Spinner felt close enough to express his wants/feelings relatively quickly since this must’ve happened before the surgery, so it’s nice to see that not only was Spinner openly gushing to Shigaraki but Shigaraki in turn listened and kept that in the back of his mind. It’s kind of like how he remembered Mr. Compress’s line about sushi, but this time he gave the inspiration of his thoughts/goals a shoutout so Izuku could know who he was willing to create that destroyed horizon for!

shigaraki actually wants to destroy mt fuji and also all other mountains and hills in order to preemptively ensure that spinner can't take him on any hiking dates. nothing will threaten the strength of their love.

*therapist voice*: now tomura, don't you think spinner wanted something to believe in, especially someone else's dream to support, rather the destruction being the point? tomura: no I'm pretty sure he wants me to destroy Mount Fuji
