Some villains kidnap tails by accident when they were meant to get someone else and all of a sudden they have to figure out how to get the boy out of their own clutches before a group of two pissed off hedgehogs and an echidna come and jump them

and it’ll never not be funny to me

So you know how when given the chance to invent something in the show, Sails (with the help of Mangey) makes a fucking bomb of all things. That is to say, I think he very much likes fireworks and would make it a contest of who can make the most fancy looking one from scratch.

Nine takes up the competition immiditely, not all that pressed about loud bangs or explosions or the very possible fire hazzard because he has his honor and ego to defend.

Mangey is not a fan though, loud sudden noises were never a good thing and poor guy's hearing is quite sensitive, so he goes to hide by Tails' side, who would've joined the other two if not for his understanding of the poor jungle fox's plight in his arms.

Instead Tails sits silently, contemplating every way of murder if his workshop ends up in flames due to the two pyromaniacs setting off crazy colorful explosions on the runway

Normal thinking abt Tails making his own stickers and putting them inside his inventions and Nine going like ??? Fuck is the purpose of that, why put it on the Inside no one's gonna see it and Tails is like idk I just feel like it makes them happy y'know, having their own little secret, and Nine says well that's stupid but he's actually pretty moved by that.. giving his inventions a little thing only the creator and the creation knows about...making each thing unique in a way even if theres multiple copies of it....

The Nazca Lines and the Mona Lisa. The first TransAtlantic flight and the first voyage to the Moon. Humanity invented the wheel, the telescope, and the nuclear bomb. We eradicated wild poliovirus types 2 and 3. We discovered radio waves, dinosaurs, and the laws of thermodynamics. Freedom Riders crossed the South. Hippies burned their draft cards. Countless genocides, scientific advancements, migrations, and rebellions. More than a hundred billion humans lived and died between these two paintings—one on a sheet of paper, and one on the inside of a cave. At the dawn of time, ancient humans stretched out their hands. And this morning, a child reached back.
