Thursday, February 25th: Hi everyone, I’m Gemma, a bi, mentally ill disaster, who’s in desperate need of help, as I'm really struggling to pay my rent.

As most of you are already aware, I have been struggling financially for quite some time due to my welfare benefits being under a review, which is due to my worsening mental health and the UK’s controversial changes to how benefits are assessed and assigned. And at the moment, I'm currently struggling to get by, as I'm a bit behind on my rent, and I am still awaiting the outcome of my PIP assessment (March 2021 at the latest)

I'm completely heartbroken to keep asking for help, but I still desperately need some as I don't have anyone else to turn to for help.

Context for this thought: You know that thing in In Hushed Whispers where you learn that everything Alexius is doing is an act of desperation to undo the darkspawn attack that ended with his wife dead and his son infected with Blight? And how while Quiz loses the hand the Anchor was embedded in the fact that there's no gameplay after that point means it's never actually confirmed whether or not that actually fixed what it was doing to them or broke the connection with the Fade it forged? And how Dorian is unflinchingly devoted to a Quiz who's either a good friend or his lover? Yeah...

But seriously though, the concept of Dorian being the carryover companion only for him to eventually betray the group because Quiz is dying (again) and betraying the group is part of Dorian's last-ditch attempt to save them is now in my head! And it's not going away. So now I'm going to put it in everyone else's heads too.

my fave greek history story to tell is that of agnodice. like she noticed that women were dying a lot during childbirth so she went to egypt to study medicine in alexandria and was really fucking good but b/c it was illegal for women to be doctors in athens she had to pretend to be a man. and then the other doctors noticed that she was 10x better than them and accused her of seducing and sleeping with the women patients. like they brought her to court for this. and she just looked at them and these charges and stripped in front of everyone like “yeah. im not fucking your wives” and then they got so mad that a woman was better at their jobs then them that they tried to execute her but all her patients came to court and were like “are you fucking serious? she is the reason you have living children and a wife.” so they were shamed into changing the law and that is how women were given the right to practice medicine in athens
