the *point* is that it’s not normal or “normalized”. the *point* is to keep doing it to stand up against normativity. to keep existing *despite* the consequences. it’s not just fashion, guys, please, c’mon.
[btw i am aware that most of the people saying these things are young, point still stands]
I know I said this already, but I'll say it again. Why don't the new editions of SOC and CK have literal CROWS on them?? And when I say that I mean the cool black smart devilish birds. They symbolize the entire duology. They represent THE Crows. Especially Kaz. It's never Six of Crows without actual crows.
And I think the new editions should be in silver and gold like the original covers from 2015-16. You know? The iconic ones. The ones that drew us in. The ones that became engraved into our brains and have been that way for years. And besides, silver and gold are just cooler and would also do wonders for the Kaz and Inej art. It's utterly insulting to me (an artist) that the beautiful art had to be associated with those ugly colors and that font that reminds me horribly of my chemistry and physics textbooks.
Then again, do I still want the books? Duh!

How very depressing that Neil Gaiman had trended not even a tiny bit for demonstrating what a fucking horrific person he is.
As a reminder, he's suing Caroline Wallner, one of his accusers, for breaking her NDA. Not for libel. He's saying she shouldn't have told anyone about it, not that she lied.
He doesn't need the money. He's risking the Streisand effect. He is punishing Caroline, he's trying to intimidate other victims who have signed NDAs to scare them into continued silence.
He is no friend to women, to the LGBTQIA+ community, to anyone quite frankly unless he thinks they are of value to him.
Share the story. Put it on Facebook and bluesky and whatever else you're on. Make it clear what a horrifying person he is. Tell your friends. He's paying Edendale a fortune to try and cover this up. Make this hard for him. Make it cost him money.
I fucking adore Jayce okay.
He's kind and caring. He doesn't use his size to intimidate folks even tho he's massive. He's quick to encourage, quick to seek and give comfort. He's so soft and sweet. Genuinely being loved by him would be a blessing.
He's also a big fucking nerd. He's terrified of letting those he loves down. He's earnest, sincere, and a bit naive. He has a bit of an ego and hero complex. He takes his responsibility seriously. He's smart, loyal, and hard working. Personally I find it hot as fuck he got those muscles from manual labor lol.
He's all those things, he's also fucking insane.
He's obsessive.
The reaction he had to Viktor coming out of the hexgoop was not in any way normal.
He was completely uncomfortablely chill with a fucking rock being embedded in his arm.
