Washington State Passes Bill To Cover Some 12-Month Hormone Therapy Stockpiles

“The bill will alleviate a lot of suffering,” one Republican lawmaker said.

WA State just passed a bill allowing people on (non-testosterone) HRT to get reimbursed by insurance for up to a 12-month stockpile of their HRT meds, as long as their doctor writes then a prescription for it.

Also important to note is that this passed easily and with bipartisan support! Things are rough on a federal level, but it's nice to know there are people fighting for and with us.

This also indicates just how important the fight to get testosterone taken off controlled substance status is.
