IT’S NOT FAIR to miss someone who isn’t yours to miss.

it’s not fair to think about someone in a way that you shouldn’t be thinking in.

and it’s definitely not fair to love someone who isn’t yours to love.

and yet, lately, you’ve found yourself doing all three of those things.

when did you start liking your best friend? it’s hard to pinpoint when, and at this point you need a why more than a when. maybe it was when he tripped you accidentally, or when he held your hand even though he was the one scared of the dark. when he lied to that scary teacher to protect you (the same one who you still, to this day, claim had fangs). or maybe it was that time when he brushed the hair out of your eyes and told you he was so happy to have you in his life.

right now, you’re both at your house, working on a project that’s bound to take a chunk of your schedule. you’ve been meeting up after school consistently, sometimes at his, sometimes at yours, and sometimes in the library where you sneak him food under the table. a lot of the time, you both divert to star wars in no less than five minutes. but the more time you get to spend with peter, the better. he’s sweet, funny, and insanely cute; what more could you ask for?

Okay, so I am leaving on vacation tomorrow, for a week long trip with my mom, my mom's best friend, and my little sister to visit colleges. So here we go, trip log has officially started.

Today my mom picked up the rental car that we now have (a black Ford SUV, which is SUPER NICE) and we started AND finished packing. Did all the laundry, and am now getting ready to sleep as much as I can to get up at 6:30 in the morning to leave by 7.

I am feeling kind of nervous, but excited at the same time. Visiting five colleges in one week will be stressful, and I need to make sure to stay organized and try to maybe write down certain things about every school so I don't get confused.

I can't wait to visit them though, and see what the University of Tennessee, the University of Georgia (Bull Dogs!), the University of Tampa, The University of Florida (Go Gators!), and the University of Alabama (Maybe) have in store for me.

It’s my birthday today, so here’s a humble present, haha. 

It’s one of many 15x20 rewrites I’ve been imagining, because honestly, they could have done SO much, and that’s what hurts. It’s cheesy and a bit all over the place, and it took me a while because I was honestly grieving for how the show ended, not to mention that I suffered a rather devastating personal loss very recently. I was also debating whether or not to continue investing in the fandom of something that erased so much from so many. It was a process. 

Still, the community of wonderful people and creators (and shipper!Sam) pulled me from the doldrums. So thank you, so very much, for being all kinds of awesome. Keep those memes coming, folks, and I hope you enjoy.
