Dear listeners I come to you with a query I guess more of a proposition to spread the word.
To finally make Wolf 359 popular!
Sense tumbler had graciously given us polls I’ve noticed that w359 has been over shadowed by other bigger podcasts and I think that w359 deserves some recognition as an Og podcast that lots of podcast creators have drawn inspiration from.
Like Johnathan Sim has literally recommended it in one of he’s Q&A’s and people still over look it 😔 for shame.
A lot of people haven’t listened to it because of the title ect. But it’s literally so good and funny, I love all of the characters sm and none even knows who they are and it KILLLLS ME oh so much.
SPREAD THE WORD WOLF 359 WILL HAVE A COME BACK.
I’ve done my part of showing this podcast to many a people please help me in this endeavor.
Good luck ⭐️
Happy Birthday, Adam Katz!
If you dare come at me about banning straws, I will throw you into the sun cannon. I’m disabled, I’m crippled, I need disposable plastic straws, and all those pricey ridiculous alternatives aren’t working as well. Plastic straws were invented for the disabled.
Way to shit all over a vital access need because you think straws are worse than corporate greed.
We all care about the turtles, the seals, the oceans, obviously. Notice how the easiest thing to yell about was something that would barely affect anything but appealed heavily to emotional discourse.
The disabled community is huge, and it can be joined by anyone. Most of those As Seen On TV products were invented for us. Society still mocks us and ignores us, and often outright harms us in multiple ways.
Communicate better. Listen better. But stop putting us out in the cold because you are inconvenienced by our simplest needs.
there are so many good video essays abt games and tv shows and movies and stuff but WHERE are the video essays about podcasts? I want to watch a video essay abt wolf 359!!! i NEED to watch an hour+ long video essay about wolf 359 Q_Q T_T
brown eyes are heartmeltingly pretty pass it on
oh OH DO WE WANNA GO?
the dialogue that would result from this...
the absolutely beeeee-aUTIFUL art the supergiant team could conjure...
Hypnos: "Weighted Blanket Cape" : reduces movement but causes less damage in the back
Cerberus: "Spiked Belt" (It was a collar but the dread prince's neck is too small for it) : close proximity to enemies while dashing will cause slashing damage
Charon: "Stygian Hat of Shades... hah" : Larger hitbox but thrown projectiles from above give less damage.
"Oh hello boss! It seems like my private associate has given you quite Ithe accessory. I'd say keep it in tip top shape, or I might have to deliver that with more than just a heartfelt sorry."
Orpheus: "Merry Minstrel" (... it's a clown outfit): Makes you more prone to traps... cartoon physics but! ✨cartoon physics✨ aka. enemies who fall out of the bounds will be able to levitate before falling to their doom
Dionysus: "Party Rockers in the House TONIGHT(?)" (A silk croptop that is cut completely open in the back with a gold chain keeping it all together... business in the front, party in the back): More damage when attacked from behind... but increases movement and better chances at dodging whilst dashing.
Poseidon: "Hot Girl Summer(?)... wait what's summer?" (A combination of bright hawaiian shirt with a speedo): Better at dodging, more damage to Zagreus if exposed to lava
Aphrodite: "Look Like a Girl, Think Like a Guy" (A combination of a cloud covering his body or booty shorts that read "my eternal punishment on the back): Takes more damage but makes higher chances of good boons. Also (shoutout to my friend), idle animations have the cloud around his parts. If you're idle for too long, it disappears and shows off the shorts or he does the "birth of venus" pose
Asterius: honestly did not think of one but... I can feel Theseus getting shocked and going
"You- you sly BLACKARD, how dare you rob my dear Asterius of his noble garb. What monstrous intentions does a dread wretch like you have with wearing it?"
"Um- style?"
Hermes: "Shoes with Wings? Now that IS Awesome!": Added faster dash movement and has Charon make a comment along the lines of "Huhngghhh~" in a loving way
Sisyphus: "Bould-ed to the Ground": Reduces movement... but in a flow state allows you to make close enemy dashes with extra damage.
... Bouldy: "... I got a rock": a random amount of rocks you can use to distract enemies.
Every Hades encounter with a new accessory starts off with a variation of:
"What does my son pick up on his misadventures? Do you wish to hold onto keepsakes that you will inevitably lose in the blood?"
"*angry huff* "they. are. called. TRINKETS. FATHER. AND I WILL CHOKE THE LIFE OUT OF YOU WITH GRANDMA'S SWEATER" (Zagreus' sprite appears with a HIGH-turtle neck with a large cute pattern of people dying of the cold and starving)
I think Hades would be the best game of all time if there was a dress-up feature.
In this essay I will explain how dressing up Zagreus in stupid armor/ Nyx's dresses would be benef-
My gameplay so far...
"Bodily autonomy for all, by any means necessary"
hey just want to remind my american followers that the US is still one of the most influential nations in the world and that one fascist in power makes everything worse everywhere for a long time. please don't fuck this up for the rest of us
We sharing podcasts???? Hell yeah >:]
My top podcasts of the year
GUYS GUESS WHAT
I took my friend (who doesn't get out much and needs to have a quiet retreat space) to the library today.
I FORGOT HOW RAD THE LIBRARY IS.
-My library has private rooms with locking doors that you check out with your library card and then have keycard access to.
-These rooms are made of plexiglass for Obvious Reasons, but still. Rooms.
-I checked out a Lounge space and, guys, it's a balcony.
-It's over the main entrance to the library so you can see everyone coming in and out. The door locks so it's private, but it's also open air to the tall ceilings and has SO MUCH natural light.
-literally so much natural light the one exterior wall is floor-to-ceiling windows with a view over a fountain and a courtyard and the local shopping district. the sunset was rad.
-My laptop connected directly to the WiFi.
-There were so many people there! There are chairs spread throughout and a bunch of computers and people just chilled and hung out!
-My friend was thrilled to be able to navigate a quiet space with strangers who didn't speak to her, and then to have a retreat space.
-My library also has a Makerspace (!!!) and a Cricut machine (!!!) and I can email someone and get trained in how to use it!
-Someone was in the recording booth and I couldn't tell what she was reading but it sounded cool.
-There's a whole room along the side of the upstairs that's just for teens. Like literally just. The sign says that if you're not a teenager you should see the staff for other rooms. There wasn't anyone there when I stuck my head in but there's a giant whiteboard and orb-style chairs and
-sorry I forgot to mention that my balcony has not only a couch but also several big comfy chairs (like, I can sit on my chair and put my feet on it too and balance my book on my knees and it's STILL not too small of a chair) and a couple coffee tables and a corner where the sunlight isn't direct y'all it's so nice
-I'm so glad my tax dollars went to this, guys. We're stuck on campus for Thanksgiving break and we desperately needed to go somewhere that didn't cost money.
-for as much as I get on about the necessity of Third Spaces, you think I'd remember this.
-I also found out my friend likes Agatha Christie novels. She read me a section while I washed dishes tonight, and I think I'm gonna like them too.
