I feel like people in the TCM community don’t talk about Chop-Top’s and Bubba’s relationship enough. It’s obvious Chop-Top loves Bubba, but just doesn’t like showing it (Which is normal or siblings). Considering in TCM 2, he got mad at him about messing up his metal plate and ruining his wig, but realizes that he can’t get mad at him, just asking if he got Stretch good. I just need more fanart of them being brothers who enjoy each other’s company, is that so much to ask for?

christian bale's performance

this performance is great, and i personally think he's the only one who could play a role like this. sometimes while watching, i forget it's not real.

the character of patrick bateman

this character is really complex, i don't even fully understand it. watching the movie doesn't even help me get everything, but he's so complicated.

how the movie made me feel

it was a very interesting watch, but i also felt really bad at some parts. the scene with the homeless man and the dog is one i always have to skip, and i've heard it's worse in the book. this movie was also amusing at some points as well, which made it nice to sit through.

my personal views on the movie

i haven't read the book, so i'm going off of the movie. i think all of the kills performed in this movie are all in bateman's head, and that he just wants to kill them, but didn't. some say the movie is misogynistic and even homophobic, but i think it's a criticism of men, honestly. i like how through the movie, he gets less and less sane as the movie goes on. i find the movie amusing, though patrick bateman isn't someone you laugh with, he's someone you laugh at in this movie.
