Okay, Killer Croc has been so inconsistently written as far as the "Croc" part goes that I think the funniest thing would be if he was still just a dude with a skin condition, but he feeds the mutant rumors to keep people from fucking with him. Someone starts a rumor that he eats people and he just rolls with it. If anyone questions the lack of tail, he says it just came off and hasn't grown back.

I don’t want to date. I just want to magically end up in a long-term and emotionally-secure relationship with someone cute

Did your abusive parents continually imply or say outright, that you're a burden not only on them, but also on all other people you interact with?

I had my parents warn me every time I was leaving the house that I was a nuisance and to not allow other people to 'feed me' because then I would be eating somebody else's food. There was a few times where I accepted a ride from my friend's parents, because I didn't dare to ask my own parents, and when they found out, they were outraged, furious and went on this big tirade about how I owe them gas money, how I spent resources that weren't mine, and was now in debt to those people, and they, my parents now had to go and make up for that debt (for the friend's parents, it was a 3 minute detour to pick me up, they were already driving their own kid).

I was discouraged from going anywhere because of how big of a burden I was on those people, and if I wanted to go to a friend's house, they would get mad and ask 'why do you have to go there, aren't we good enough for you', it was mind-boggling.

However it did force me, as a child, to continually believe I have to be extremely useful; at every house I went, I made a gift for them so they wouldn't be mad at me, and to pay my dues that I owe them for being at their place. I also didn't dare to ask for food or drinks anywhere because I believed that would make me a burden and put me in debt, and rides were considered basically unrepayable, and I had to depend on my parents for them, who would use them for blackmail every time. (you have to do whatever I say for 2 weeks, if you want that 15 minutes ride to the train station).

I only realized recently that they actively worked on making me feel despised and burdensome in every place I ever went, not only at my own home, and that it's the reason I never visit other people's houses anymore, and stick to myself in fear of being unwelcome.

Today the governor of Texas released an official statement directing Family and Protective Services to investigate families of transgender minors on allegations of child abuse (with the intention of separating trans children from their families). It includes a “duty to report”, directing those who know or suspect the existence of a trans child to report it.

This is not a law, nor is it technically actively enforceable. But it is an official statement by a governor that WILL cause real consequences. It also emerges from all of the OTHER anti-trans legislation in action.

30/50 U.S. states are currently proposing legislation against the existence of trans minors (or sometimes people up to 21 years old).

As a trans person who transitioned as a minor in one of these states, I’ve been fighting against these laws for years with little to no news coverage. I am begging for people to care about this. These laws prohibit access to gender-affirming care, accuse families of trans minors of child abuse, jail doctors, and prohibit trans people from playing in sports. Some of these laws have already passed. Some are going to.

Here is a thread of resources in regards to what is happening in Texas right now.

Here’s a thread of GoFundMes of Texas families of trans children who are trying to move out of the state.

Here is a website where you can track these anti-trans bills in the U.S., see what is happening in your state, and see what action you can take.

Stay safe. Protect and uplift trans youth.

Abusive parents are the only ones who go convincing their children they don’t deserve basic resources and need to be grateful for being allowed to have any. First, you have to be grateful for having a roof under your head, then you have to be grateful that you get to eat food, then you have to express gratitude for being able to own clothing, then for being allowed basic resources like books and a bag so you can go to school, you have to be grateful for a ride, for a bed to sleep in, for being allowed to live.

These are not things that should require any gratitude. Every child brought in this world has every right to food, shelter, comfort, clothing and any other resource they need to feel safe and happy and to develop all the interests and hobbies they want to. Anything else is unacceptable. Do we bring children in this world just to have them fear for their own lives? Do we have children so we could starve them, have them hurt or killed with cold and heat, to deny them living space and right to comfort? Do we bring children in the world so we could torture them? If not, then there’s no fucking reason they should be grateful they aren’t being killed on purpose.

What abusive parents are trying to do is make the child feel it’s not allowed to exist anywhere past the boundaries the parents set. If they can convince a child they don’t have a right to living space, next thing they can convince the child is that having their personal living space is selfish, that they’re taking living space from someone else, who actually deserves it,  and acting out of bounds when they want to move out. It makes sure children don’t ask for money, so they can’t accumulate money and escape. Hell, it even makes sure that when children are offered money they don’t feel they’ve earned, they’ll refuse it, and it will make it a lot harder for children to get financially safe and independent if they come into adulthood strongly believing they deserve nothing. They will work for next to no wages. They will struggle so hard. Survival will become something terrifying and out of bounds and will force them to come back to parents.

You take your living space as you please. You eat and spend all you can. You take everything and live wherever you want. The assholes don’t get to tell you what you deserve or not. The monsters don’t get to define where or how you’re allowed to exist. Those who would force gratitude for things you have every right to, actually have nothing on you. You do not owe them shit. You were in fact, entitled to the living space the second you were born. You were entitled to food and clothes and any resource you needed. What’s more, you were entitled to loving parents who would make sure you grow up unharmed, healthy and with the best start in life they could have possibly given you. You were entitled to more than they ever gave you. It’s them who owe you a childhood. It’s them who owe you a home and a family. Not you who owes them because sometimes they would remember they in fact had a kid, and it was in fact, illegal not to feed and clothe them. Fuck the guilt tripping. You deserve more than they gave you.

important post plz read

so idk how to start this or say anything about it because i am worried about preserving the sensitivity of the matter and wondering if asking for help damages that or makes me a bad person.

i went to planned parenthood yesterday after a couple weeks of weird symptoms and found out i was six weeks and three days pregnant.

i am eighteen years old and just graduated high school, and don’t plan on having a baby any time soon.

the problem is, i live in Indiana. i have gone through, in the last two days, so much more psychological trauma than i ever believed was possible because i wasn’t prepared for this situation. doctors telling me i’m lazy and irresponsible and begging me to keep my pregnancy, referring to it as “my baby” and telling me my due date, forcing me to listen to heart beats, giving me prenatal vitamins i won’t use and giving me pictures of my ultrasound. while my mom is supportive of my decision to end my pregnancy, my dad is outraged.

i work at dairy queen and get paid hourly, i work 35 hours. i am already in physical pain due to the pregnancy because i have kidney disease and am anorexic.

what i’m trying to say here is that, yeah. i messed up pretty badly. abortions are so expensive. i am going to college, and planning on moving in august. i have no money to pay for the abortion.

that’s where you can help. my paypal is

paypal.me/kate949 and my venmo is @altyrlog. i’m not begging for money, but simply asking if you have more to spare to help out a teenage girl who’s out of options. i need the procedure done soon, and the doctors are afraid that a medical (pill) abortion wouldn’t be the best decision for my previous health history.

please, if you have anything to offer and give, i will take it. i love you all and am so warmed by the support from my friends and people close to me. i need anywhere between 450-700 dollars and i’m praying my insurance will help me cover these costs.

thank you in advance and plz message me with any questions, i have a proof of pregnancy paper and multiple other documents to confirm. i am not trying to scam you for money, im out of ideas.

i love you xx

PS if you can’t help, please support by reblogging in hopes that someone else can

It's crazy that these strikes are happening given that all the writers and actors are asking for is less than 0.3% of the revenue these studios make.
