I am Imad, a Palestinian PhD student in Art Sciences in France. After six years of master's and doctoral studies in France, the war has turned my life and my family’s life upside down. I was a lecturer at three French universities in Paris, but the ongoing conflict has disrupted my professional situation as well as the progress of my doctoral studies.

Our house was demolished due to the bombing, and we are now living in a street battle in the middle of Khan Yunis. I gave birth to a baby in a tent in a field hospital to prepare for difficult operations, and the heat of the sun inside the tents cannot be tolerated.

My name is Mohamed Mabrouk, and I live outside the Gaza Strip, but my heart and mind are with my family who is suffering there. man i don't know how to say this but gazans here are risking their lives to make posts asking for help. they are asking for you to contribute a small amount of money to buy food or medicines or get shelter.

whether we like it or not, we are complicit in this genocide. either because of our silence, or because our tax money if being used to bomb them. i thought that people would be more eager to help gazans, trying to 'reverse' the damage somehow.

i'd like to tell you about mohammed, a 23 year old man from gaza, and his family. their house was bombed by the israeli army and mohammed's younger brother was severely injured as a result.

now mohammed and his seven family members are displaced in the south, literally living amongst rubble. they have no access to the medical treatment that mohammed's brother so desperately needs, let alone proper shelter or safe drinking water.

they have only raised $154 AUD so far, and they desperately need our help.

$5 AUD is only $3.34 USD or 3.08 EUR.
