You have indeed felt a great loss
But love is a form of energy, and it swirls all around us
Lydia's love for you has not left this world, it is still inside of your heart
And is reborn in the form of new love
Me trying to figure out how Gabriel Agreste secret entrance to his lair, goes down under his office but some how still has a giant ass window looking above the city buildings, as if he were high up.š¤ Also who the hell built that shit, probably the same people who built Batman's lazy susan for the batmobile and still kept that shit a secret.š¤ Is there a secret neutral company that tricks out superhero and villains lairs for them? With client confidentiality and everything, that seems like a good business but hard to get new clients since they can't tell about who've they've built for which is the whole point of the companyš
As a fic writer, i need every reader to know that:
I donāt care if your comment is coherent. I know what you mean and i love you
I donāt care if you ramble. I read every word and i love you
I donāt care if you leave a comment on a fic from four years ago or leave comments/kudos on like ten of my fics in one go. This isnāt IG, pls stalk my AO3. I love you
I donāt care if you mention the same thing in your comment that four other people have already mentioned. Itās actually really useful to know what resonated with people and I love everyone who takes the time to tell me they liked a particular turn of phrase
I donāt mind if your comment is super long or just a couple of sentences, i love them all
I love you
Two of Disney television animation biggest creators at the moment reveal how to best support our favourite cartoons and tell the networks we want more of them.
The big executives are looking at fandom culture now more than they ever have and while a show cant survive on that alone, with networks refusing to spend money advertising their shows, the best way we can help support our favourite shows is word of mouth. Make fan art, memes, cosplay, reviews, analysis. If someone who hasn't seen/heard of that show comes across your work and goes away wanting to check it out, you've instantly helped that show become more noticed.
Something that has become almost a relic of the times now that I wished would be brought back is sending fan mail. Despite online presence being huge now it is something that is still easy for networks to ignore. Physical mail on the other hand is a different story (I mean that's how Kim Possible fans got a 4th season after it's initial cancellation).
So get out there and start creating. Make the amount of fandom content too big for even the highest of higher ups to ignore. Tweet at them and let them know this is your new favourite show and you want a lot more of it.
Ok, so, you wanna know a show thatās incredibly underrated, is being treated terribly by its studio, and has a lot of its fans terrified that itāll be ending prematurely?
Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
This show deserves so much more love and attention, so hereās a list of why you should at least give it a chance:
1. The Family Dynamic
Iām starting with this one because its probably my favourite thing about the show, and the thing that got me hooked in the first place- the family dynamic in this is incredibly sweet and enduring, but itās not overkill either.
They explore and show a lot of heartwarming moments, but also display their family dynamic in a really natural way too- it never seems fake. they also have genuine struggles as they try to work through their differences, and it feels real.
(the sibling interactions are on point btw)
(also thereās a lot of hugs)
2. The Storyline
I know a lot of cartoons now share theĀ āstarting out as just a fun cartoon, then later becoming more serious,ā but I still need to mention that the way it escalates seems natural and well-paced.Ā
If youāve watched previous TMNT shows, then yes, it does seem a lot more comedic and different than what the other incarnations gave, but thatās what I love about it- itās a lot different.
But if youāve never watched or read anything TMNT- guess what? Youāll still really enjoy it because you donāt need any previous experience with anything TMNT!! They explain everything simply and introduce the characters and what they stand for almost immediately.
What Iām trying to say is, it has a really good plot thatās entertaining but also filled with the worldās lore.Ā
And character development?? Hell yeah! Thereās a lot of it to go around at first (although the show does take a somewhat slower approach to it).
which brings us to the next partā¦
3. Characters!
Obviously, the main characters in this show are great- you got the four turtles and Splinter, and a really colourful cast of villains. But the thing I love the most about the cast is how diverse they are!!Ā
Not to mention the girls in this show feel like real characters. And I donāt mean they have traumatic backstories and stuff, I mean theyāre treated the same way all the male characters are. And I know this might sound like a small factor, but there arenāt exactly a lot of shows (especially action cartoons) where it isnāt drilled into you that the girls in the showĀ āare strong fighters, wow look at them!āĀ
its never brought to attention that theyāre different, just like⦠yeah, ofc she can fight, of course she has just as much personality as the guysā¦Ā
Look at these girls, I love them
Also, bonus: as of right now, thereās no forced romance! Thereās mention of a past romance, but other than that?? Nope, none. And itās great.

According to this twitter, Rise of the TMNT is on aĀ āproduction hiatusā after Season 2 (and I assume also after the movie. I certainly hope the movie wasnāt cancelledā¦). Not completely cancelled, but they arenāt sure if theyāre gonna renew it either. Iām not sure what the options are, if theyād have to keep it on Nicktoons if they did renew it, or if they could put it on Netflix for one more season.
Either way, merchandise seems to be the big reason why Nickās hesitant, so buy all the merch youāre able to along with the DVDs and buying the eps off iTunes/Amazon/etc. Keep emailing Nickelodeon as well, and again since kids seem to be a huge factor in all this (nevermind that the previous TMNT show seemed to only cater to adults after a while but whatever), try to get relatives or family friends with kids into the show. If you know kids who do watch or like the show, tell Nick about it! Let the channel know thereās a wide audience for it and that if theyād just give the show a chance, they will get views and support!
So yeah, since thereās no official cancellation yet, Iād say keep fighting and keep doing your best to support the show however you can. Weāve still got 23 episodes of Season 2, and if we can change their mind by the finale, thereās a chance we wonāt have to wait too long for Season 3
Hey there! I just want to say that I seriously love your rise of the TMNT human versions /Au of the brothers a lot. Especially with Donnie and Ralph also the cool info you added to them as what they'll over all like as just normal teens as humans and such, also love your drawings of them as being black kids which makes sense in a way since half of the voice cast are black too, wondering are you going to do Leo and Mikey next? cause love to see your take on them.
Thank You so much for wonderful feedback and Im happy to announce that Mikey's version is up along, with a special bonus postš
āBut if you forget to reblog Madame Zeroni, you and your family will be cursed for always and eternity.ā
