Queer history is but a grain of sand in time’s eternal desert.

Did you know? Lesbians and male homosexuals would marry each other in Nazi Germany just to escape persecution? Queer history tho like I honestly am learning things everyday that shape my knowledge of what it means to be LGBT? Like did you know Malcolm X was bisexual? Did you know the Nazis persecuting homosexuals said they were protecting “traditional family values,” the same arguments used today by Republicans? Washington in the 1780s expelled several soldiers for engaging in consensual same-sex acts? FDR launched a plan in the 1920s where he forced young sailors to try and trap other sailors into sex? I think schools need to stop erasing queer history from social studies and queer literature from English classes. And also start teaching children to respect gay people at a young age, like grade five. That’s the only way I can see any change coming about…

Extreme feminists are just creating the same problem that they are trying to solve. 

I’d like to imagine in a couple of years feminism will be replaced by manism(is that the right term?), and then the cycle will keep repeating itself into infinity. 

I totally understand the whole feminism and equal rights thing and it’s totally awesome that women are finding this confidence within themselves and each other but there’s a serious issue when you’re tearing down one gender to boost your own. Some feminist are fucking insane and just come off sounding like feminazis. I get it you don’t need a man in your life and I totally agree with you, but that doesn’t mean that you should just start saying that “ALL MEN ARE PIGS! ALL MEN SHOULD DIE! ALL MEN ARE USELESS!” because that just means that you’re making no progress for your cause. Once you start spewing hateful and ignorant shit like that it makes me question what you stand for. Everyone should be treated equally, no ifs ands or buts about it, but don’t think just because you think you’re fighting for a good cause that you can just start saying bad shit. It makes you look bad, and it makes the cause look bad. I understand that women need feminism, but do it in a logical and peaceful way.
